Abstract

The main discussion in this research article is the analysis of phrases that have a function in observing the use of the types of phrases contained in the essay text entitled "Dusta yang Jujur" and "Godaan". There is also a purpose in conducting this research, namely to inform, classify, and describe the types of phrases in the essays listed in Giyato's Dusta yang Jujur and Goenawan Mohamad's Godaan. The type of research in this article is a type of descriptive qualitative research. Data collection methods and techniques applied in this study are the observing methods and the note-taking technique. Data collection refers to the essay text in the Class XII book of the Merdeka Curriculum. The objects of research in this article are the essay entitled Dusta yang Jujur by Giyato which has 3 pages and the text of the essay entitled Godaan by Goenawan Mohamad in the Indonesian language book Class XII of the Merdeka Curriculum. With this research on phrases, it is hoped that readers will be able to find out the types of phrases contained in the essay text entitled Dusta yang Jujur by Giyato which has 3 pages, and the text of the essay entitled Godaan by Goenawan Mohamad in the Indonesian language book class XII of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

The focus of this study is on the illocution of the anecdote text in the learning module of the Class X Indonesian High School Language Learning module compiled by Indri Anatya Permatasari. The existence of this study is used as a basis for explaining the intent of anecdotal texts as well as raising some issues around the community to be understood wisely through understanding the intent of anecdotal texts. In addition, the study also aims to provide an understanding of the classification of illocution speech in anecdotal text in the Indonesian language learning module of class X SMA compiled by Indri Anatya Permatasari. The methods used in this study are two, namely descriptive and qualitative, and use a pragmatic theoretical approach. The data used is in the form of anecdotal text in the X class of the Indonesian language learning module, which is then analyzed according to the classification of illocution speech. The data source in this study is anecdotal text in the learning module. The data collection for this study uses a listening or reading technique and notes. In his data analysis, use agility and body techniques. As for data presentation, it uses formal and informal techniques. The results of the data analysis found the action of assertive, directive, expressive, declarative, and commissive illocumentation. The most-finding data is assertive illocution speech, while the least is commissionive illocution speech. Hopefully, this article can provide an understanding of the classification of illocution speech in anecdotal text in a learning module.

Abstract

The International Community Service held in Brunei Darussalam occurred at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Bandar Seri Begawan, targeting Indonesian micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) entrepreneurs residing there. This event was organized in collaboration with the Association of Indonesian Accounting Lecturers (ADAI), the Indonesian Community Association, and the Indonesian Muslim Entrepreneurs Association. The main objective was to unify perspectives on addressing pressing halal issues and enhancing MSME competitiveness through halal certification. Featuring knowledge-sharing sessions themed "Strategies for Enhancing MSME Competitiveness through Halal Certification: Challenges and Opportunities," the event occurred on September 18, 2024, and attracted 150 participants from 40 universities across Indonesia, both online and in person. The implementation method employed a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) approach and in-depth interviews, including training on strategies to improve MSME competitiveness through halal certification, obtaining halal certification, and identifying challenges and opportunities. Activities included preparing the team, introducing topics, summarizing discussions, analyzing data, and assessing the feasibility of qualifying MSMEs. The FGD and training materials cover the halal certification process, benefits, compliance with Islamic law, and strategies to improve MSME competitiveness at the international level and understand the differences in halal certification and product labelling between Indonesia and Brunei.
