Abstract

The purpose of this study is to comprehend the conducive atmosphere that facilitates learning. The study employed a library research methodology and a questionnaire using data sourced from multiple online resources, including books, encyclopedias, dictionaries, journals, documents, magazines, and other materials. A safe, encouraging, and learning-focused learning atmosphere is what makes kids feel good about their education. A supportive learning environment can not only help students grow emotionally but also make a big difference in their academic performance. Students will be able to process, learn, make errors, and learn again in a safe and comfortable setting, which will help them to effectively receive and assimilate information. An environment that is conducive to learning might be physical, emotional, and as well as sociological elements. There are many strategies to create a positive learning environment, including making the material relevant, coming up with an ethical code, rewarding good behavior, offering emotional support, setting up routines and structures, furnishing the classroom with comfortable furniture, and so on. Enhancing the learning environment can help students feel more at ease and driven to learn, which will lead to better learning results.

Abstract

A metaphorical technique in counseling is a technique that facilitates the relationship between the student and the counselor through the creation of meaning indirectly. The aim of this research is to help counselors and counselor in understanding individuals meeting basic needs and achieving desired change. This research method uses library research by searching several sources such as journals, articles, books and other sources. It can be concluded that metaphor techniques in group guidance provide understanding, enhance the ability of students, as well as shape the character of students.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the growing attention to the effectiveness of guidance and counseling services that apply the Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) approach, as well as the need to map the development and research trends related to this approach in the context of education and mental health. The aim of this research is to analyze publication trends, keywords, and scientific collaboration in studies on SFBT using a bibliometric approach. The method employed is bibliometric analysis of articles published between 2010 and 2024, using VOSviewer software. The analysis results indicate a significant increase in the number of publications on SFBT, with dominant themes including school counseling, mental health, youth interventions, and the effectiveness of short-term therapy. Keyword clustering reveals strong interconnections among various research topics, indicating that the SFBT approach is developing consistently within academic and practical domains. The study concludes that SFBT is a theoretically grounded and practically applicable counseling approach across diverse contexts. The implications of this research provide a strategic foundation for academics, practitioners, and researchers to develop more focused research directions and expand the application of SFBT in professional guidance and counseling services.

Abstract

Kesetaraan gender merupakan isu penting dalam konseling, terutama dalam konteks multibudaya yang menghadirkan beragam tantangan terkait norma sosial dan budaya. Salah satu  isu gender yang berpengaruh adalah konsep kanca wingking dalam budaya Jawa, yang secara tradisional menempatkan perempuan dalam ranah domestik. Model integratif dalam konseling memungkinkan konselor untuk mengeksplorasi lebih dalam terkait nilai-nilai budaya yang dibawa oleh konseli. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan model integratif dalam konseling multibudaya sebagai strategi dalam mendukung kesetaraan gender, termasuk dalam konteks budaya Jawa yang masih mempertahankan konsep kanca wingking. Metode penelitian yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif  menggunakan literatur terkait konseling multibudaya, model integratif, dan isu gender kanca wingking. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa model integratif dapat membantu konselor dalam menangani permasalahan gender secara lebih komprehensif. Dengan demikian, model ini menjadi pendekatan yang relevan dalam praktik konseling yang berorientasi pada keadilan gender.
