Abstract

Using alpha brain waves, the alpha zone technique prepares pupils to absorb information more effectively by putting them in a state of readiness to learn. Therefore, in order to accomplish learning goals, pupils need to be in an alpha state. When someone is in alpha state, they will exhibit behaviors like smiling, laughing, and having a positive attitude. A qualitative approach is used in this investigation. This study's data came straight from MTs S TI Pasia's seventh grade Arabic instructor. In addition, documentation, interviews, and observation were the means of data gathering. The results of this research show that by implementing the alpha zone strategy when teaching Arabic, students will feel comfortable when learning. If students feel comfortable when studying, then the student's expression when studying is a cheerful face, smiling, even laughing. If the student's condition is like that, then the student is already in the alpha zone. Students who are in the alpha zone will make students ready to learn and this strategy can make students who initially don't like learning Arabic become like learning Arabic.

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan penelitian dalam pengajaran bahasa Arab adalah sebagian siswa SMP Islam Negeri 6 Agam merasa bahwa bahasa Arab itu sulit dan membosankan, serta tidak dapat berkonsentrasi ketika guru memulai pelajaran. Terutama dalam keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab, mereka sering merasa terintimidasi ketika diminta berbicara. Selain itu, kurangnya sumber belajar untuk meningkatkan semangat belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh buku bergambar terhadap pengajaran keterampilan berbicara. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Islam Negeri 6 Agam. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi tes dan dokumentasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen, dan desain eksperimen yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen. Bentuk desain yang digunakan adalah nonequivalent control group design. Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan buku bergambar tidak mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa SMP Islam Negeri 6 Agam. Analisis data juga menunjukkan bahwa tingkat signifikansi (Sig) kurang dari 0,05, yaitu sebesar 0,037 (kurang dari 0,05), dan nilai t tabular lebih kecil dari nilai t aritmatika, yaitu sebesar 0,432 (kurang dari 1,999).

Abstract

In this paper, the writer discusses the implementation of Arabic language activities at Tawalib Islamic Boarding School in Gunung Padang Panjang and analyzes the activities. This paper used a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the author's analysis based on the implementation of Arabic-language activities at this Islamic boarding school are in the form of 1. Practicing conversation which was held twice a week, 2. Presenting new vocabulary every day, and practicing speech in Arabic language. The difficulties found for students in learning Arabic at this school were understanding Arabic subject matter. It was was due to the lack of supporting media in learning. So that, the students became easily bored. as the solution, the writer suggests Tawalib Islamic Boarding School to complete the learning media.
