Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the effect of market segmentation and product distribution on sales volume at PT Garuda Mas Perkasa Medan. The type of research in this study is quantitative with an associative approach. The population of this study were employees of PT Garuda Mas Perkasa Medan. The sample selection method uses saturated sampling, the number of samples used is 50 sample data. Before conducting research, first test the instrument with validity test and reliability test. Prerequisite test analysis includes normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regression. The results of this study are in accordance with the first hypothesis, that market segmentation affects sales volume. This can be seen from the test results which show that the value of  3.915 is greater than  2.010 with a significance value of 0.000 less than 0.05. The results of this study are in accordance with the second hypothesis, that product distribution has an effect on sales volume. This can be seen from the test results which show that the value of  3.580 is greater than  2.010 with a significance value of 0.000 smaller than 0.05. The results of the study are in accordance with the third hypothesis, that market segmentation and product distribution simultaneously affect sales volume. This can be seen from the F test which shows a significance value smaller than 0.05, which is 0.000. Then Fcount> Ftable (26.845> 3.190).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penetapan harga dan kualitas layanan terhadap keputusan konsumen menggunakan jasa pengiriman barang pada PT. United Grand Express Cabang Medan.Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Sumber data berupa data primer dan data sekunder. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh pelanggan yang melakukan pembelian periode 2021 sebanyak 218 pelanggan.Teknik sampel slovin sebanyak 141sampel.Hasil uji t variabel penetapan harga senilai thitung(2,936) >ttabel(1,977) dengan tingkat signifikan 0,004<0,05 sehingga terdapat pengaruh negatif yang signifikan secara parsial antara penetapan harga terhadap keputusan menggunakan jasa. Hasil uji t variabel kualitas layanan senilai thitung(9,230) >ttabel(1,977) dengan tingkat signifikan 0,000<0,05 sehingga terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan secara parsial antara kualitas layanan terhadap keputusan menggunakan jasa. Hasil uji F senilai Fhitung (61,773)>Ftabel (3,06) dengan signifikansi 0,00<0,05 sehingga terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara Penetapan Harga dan Kualitas Layanan secara simultan terhadap Keputusan Menggunakan Jasa pada PT. United Grand Express cabang Medan.

Abstract

Dalam perusahaan jasa berfokus pada jasa yang akan mereka jual kepada konsumen yang memerlukan, perusahaan jasa atau sering disebut perusahaan penyedia layanan jasa menawarkan suatu keahlian tertentu yang dapat memberikan manfaat kepada konsumen sebagai pengguna jasa tersebut. Tujuan perusahaan jasa sendiri yaitu untuk memperoleh keuntungan atau laba. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh harga terhadap kepuasan konsumen pada perusahaan study tour CV. Viora consultant di Medan. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelayanan terhadap kepuasan konsumen pada perusahaan study tour CV. Viora Consultant di Medan. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh harga dan pelayanan terhadap kepuasan konsumen pada CV. Viora Consultant di Medan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji reliabilitas, uji normalisasi dan regresi linier berganda. Sampel yang diteliti sebanyak 30 responden. Hasil penelitian uji t diperoleh(4,848>2,04) (Sig 0.001 < α0.05) sehingga dapat disimpulkan harga berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian. Hasil penelitian  uji t diperoleh (5,899>2,04) (Sig 0.000 < α0.05)  sehingga dapat disimpulkan pelayanan berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian.Artinya dengan mengenal pelayanan perusahaan konsumen tersebut menikmati pelayanan tersebut karena kualitas. Hasil penelitian uji F diperoleh (50,785> 3,13) (Sig. 0.000 < α0.05)harga dan pelayananberpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian. Artinya dengan bersama-sama harga dan pelayanan berpengaruh nyata terhadap keputusan pembelian. Dari hasil R dapat dilihat bahwa 0.600 dan hal ini menyatakan bahwa variable pengaruh harga dan pelayanan sebesar 0.600. Nilai R-Square sebesar 0.359 atau 35,9% keputusan pembelian sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain atau variable lain

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu Untukmengetahui apakah pengalaman kerja atau tingkat gajiyang berpengaruh besar terhadap produktivitas kerjakaryawan pada PT. Perintis Karya Bersama Medan.Metode analisis data adalah cara pengolahan data yangterkumpul untuk kemudian dapat memberikaninterpretasi hasil pengolahan data ini digunakan untukmenjawab permasalahan yang telah dirumuskan.Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptifkuantitatif dan analisis regresi untuk mengukur faktorfaktoryang mempengaruhi pengalaman kerja Dantingkat gaji Terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawanPada PT. Perintis Karya Bersama Medan. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwaterdapat pengaruh antara pengalaman kerja terhadapproduktivitas kerja karyawan yang dapat diketahui darinilai regresi linier berganda sebesar 0,269 dengan nilaisignifikansi sebesar 0,018 < 0,05 yang artinya terdapatpengaruh yang signifikan antara pengalaman kerjaterhadapat produktivitas kerja karyawan. Hasilpenelitian membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh gajiterhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan yang dapatdiketahui dari nilai regresi berganda sebesar 0,185dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,011 < 0,05 yangartinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara gajiterhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan. Hasil penelitianmembuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang cukupantara gaji dan pengalaman kerja terhadapproduktivitas kerja karyawan yang dapat diketahui dariuji hipotesis uji F hitung yaitu 0,000 , 0,05 artinya0hipotesis diterima. Sehingga pengalaman kerjakaryawan dan tingkat gaji berpengaruh secarabersama-sama terhadap produktivitas karyawan. Darihasil uji koefisien determinasi (R2) diperoleh nilai R2sebesar 0,113 atau 11,3 %. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel produktivitas dipengaruhi oleh variabel pengalaman kerja dan tingkat gaji sebesar 11,3%. Sedangkan sisanya 88,7% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lainyang tidak dijelaskan dalam penelitian.

Abstract

This study examines Human Resource Management (HRM) practices within the Faculty of Islamic Studies at two universities: Pancabudi Development University and Dharmawangsa University. The research aims to analyze key HRM aspects, including recruitment, selection, competency enhancement, performance management, coaching, and the development of educational staff and faculty members at these institutions. The study adopts a multi-site approach, encompassing both faculties, and utilizes qualitative research methods, specifically a naturalistic interactive approach that involves organic interactions between researchers and participants. The findings reveal that both universities follow general standards for recruitment and selection, such as assessing prior needs and consulting with WR1, although the selection methods varied between institutions. Performance improvement strategies at both universities include participation in various training activities and seminars. Coaching and development efforts at Pancabudi Development University emphasize on-the-job and in-service training, whereas Dharmawangsa University incorporates third-party providers for training initiatives. Moreover, at Pancabudi Development University, the development of educator professionalism is integrated into the broader campus development strategy, while Dharmawangsa University prioritizes ongoing professional development. In conclusion, although the HRM approaches at both universities differ, they are aligned in their overall objectives to enhance HRM and campus development. These findings suggest that institutions implementing well-planned organizational strategies are likely to achieve superior accreditation outcomes.

Abstract

This research examines the leadership model of Mr. H. Syarifuddin, MA, founder of Jannatul Firdaus Islamic Boarding School, and how it integrates with the institution's educational programs. The study uses a naturalistic qualitative approach, employing field research methods including observation, interviews, and documentation to ensure reliable and valid findings. The charismatic aspect of Mr. Syarifuddin's leadership is marked by his discipline, firmness, and effective communication with diverse community groups. His transformational approach focuses on motivating students, enhancing their communication and social skills, fostering entrepreneurship, and promoting community integration. These leadership attributes have significantly influenced the school's ability to adapt and thrive, aligning its educational offerings with contemporary societal needs and facilitating the development of both students and the broader community. The findings highlight the effectiveness of combining charismatic and transformational leadership to drive educational and social progress, demonstrating how a well-rounded leadership model can enhance the relevance and impact of educational institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work environment and career development on employee performance at PT. PLN Nusantara Power UMRO UPHK Medan. The research method used quantitative data. The results of this study indicate that the significant value of the work environment variable (X1) is smaller than the probability value of 0.05, or a value of 0.000 <0.05, then Ha is accepted H0 is rejected. Variable X1 has a tcount value (8.186) greater than ttable (1.9869). So it can be concluded that the work environment partially has an influence and is significant on employee performance. The significant value of the career development variable (X2) is smaller than the probability value of 0.05, or a value of 0.000 <0.05, then Ha is accepted H0 is rejected. Variable X2 has a tcount value (8.306) greater than ttable (1.9869). So it can be concluded that career development partially has an influence and is significant on employee performance. Fcount value = 146.393 > Ftable 3.10 with a significance value of 0.001 smaller than 0.05. So it can be concluded that simultaneously the work environment and career development affect employee performance at PT. PLN Nusantara Power UMRO UPHK Medan. The R Square value has a value of 0.767. Thus, the contribution of the current ratio of the work environment (X1) and career development (X2) to profitability is 76.7% and the remaining 23.3% is influenced by other independent factors or variables.

Abstract

Customer purchasing decisions are very important for companies that maintain their business continuity and continuity of business activities. High purchasing decisions from customers who make purchases with an increasing percentage in certain companies rather than other companies. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of brand on consumer purchasing decisions. To determine and analyze the effect of product packaging on consumer purchasing decisions on.To determine and analyze the effect of brand and product packaging simultaneously on consumer purchasing decisions. The analysis technique used in this research is quantitative data analysis, namely testing and analyzing data with numerical calculations and then drawing conclusions from these tests with product moment correlation and multiple correlation test tools but in practice the data processing of this study is not processed manually, but using SPSS statistical software. From the results of this study, it is obtained that the significance value of the brand on purchasing decisions based on the t test is obtained at t (count)>t (table) (5.637> 1.66) (Sig 0.001 < α0.05). thus H ois rejected. From the results of this study, the significance value of product packaging based on the t test was obtained as t (count)>t (table) (5.555> 1.66) (Sig 0.000 < α0.05), thus H ois rejected, the conclusion is: there is a significant effect of product packaging on purchasing decisions.Based on the results of the F test above, the value of F (count)>F tableis (17,678> 3.13) (Sig. 0.000 < α0.05) thus H 0is rejected, the conclusion is: there is a significant influence on the influence of brand and product packaging on purchasing decisions.
