Abstract

This research aims to develop LKPD based on Problem Based Instruction (PBI) for students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This type of research is the research and development (R&D) ADDIE development model. Validity, practicality and effectiveness are the three kinds of instruments to be analyzed. The research subjects for the validity test are lecturers as media experts and teachers as material experts. While the practical and effectiveness test subjects were thirty eighth graders. The research instruments used are questionnaires and tests. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative data analysis from validator comments and suggestions and quantitative data analysis in the form of scoring the percentage of validity, practicality and effectiveness of LKPD. Research conclusions: (1) Problem Based Instruction (PBI)-based LKPD on opportunity material meets the criteria, is very valid, very practical and very effective and can be used in the student learning process (2) Student learning outcomes after participating in learning using Problem Based Instruction (PBI)-based LKPD have met the expected problem-solving ability indicators.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the level of mathematical representation ability of SMK students in statistics material. Through this research will be analyzed the level of students' mathematical representation abilities which are grouped into high, medium and low, as well as students' mistakes in solving problems on statistics material which focuses on the mean, median and mode. The research subjects were 3 class XII students, all of whom consisted of female students. Research includes qualitative research. Data collection techniques using tests and interviews. The results showed that the representational abilities of SMK students were moderate at 62%. Student errors included (1) students were not careful in completing calculations properly (2) students chose sentences in solving illogical questions and preferred to use equations. (3) Student answers written by students are not clearly visible..

Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan Dosen dan Mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik dalam rangka Sosialisasi Pentingnya menabung pada siswa-siswi SD Muhammadiyah 1 Giri di Kota Gresik dengan tujuan dengan adanya sosialisasi ini dapat memberi pemahaman menabung pada usia dini dan manfaat dari menabung untuk masa depan serta memberi motivasi kepada anak-anak bahwa pentingnya menabung menumbuhkan kesadaran kepada anak-anak untuk menyisihkan sebagaian uang jajan untuk di simpan atau tabung. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, diharapkan anak-anak usia dini lebih paham dan mengerti tentang pentingnya menabung di usia dini. Para siswa-siswi diajarkan pentingnya menabung untuk masa depan. Adapun materi yang diberikan dalam sosialisasi ini antara lain : Pertama, siswa-siswi lebih dahulu dijelaskan apa itu menabung, Kedua, Pentingnya menabung, Ketiga, manfaat dari menabung, Keempat , keuntungan dari menabung, Kelima, bagaimana cara kita menabung.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the process of making a casual Muslim fashion design with pucuk rebung pattern using SketchBook application and analyse the design results from the aspects of aesthetics, function, innovation, trend suitability, and colour selection. The research method employed is a descriptive qualitative approach, utilising data collection techniques that include interviews with six expert sources and questionnaires administered to 30 respondents. The results showed that the design-making process was done systematically through concept determination, making moodboards, croquis, fashion sketches, colouring, and digital design refinement using a sketchbook. Based on the questionnaire results, the average category of Strongly Agree was 58% and Agree was 55.33%. The aesthetic aspect obtained the highest percentage of Strongly Agree at 66.67%, indicating that the design was considered visually appealing. The aspects of function, innovation, and trend suitability also received high scores, indicating that the design suits the needs of modern Muslim casual wear. However, innovation and colour selection still need to be improved to make the design more unique and optimal in the future. This research proves that the sketchbook application is effective in supporting the creation of traditional patterned Muslim casual fashion designs with a modern look that is relevant to current fashion trends.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the causes of students' difficulties in speaking English. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. In collecting data, the researcher used a closed questionnaire and also a Liker scale to determine the factors that cause students' difficulties in speaking. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 30 students of class XI IPS. The results of this study indicate that the inhibiting factors, having nothing to say, the lack of participants and the use of the mother tongue can be a source of student difficulties. From these four aspects, the results showed that 72.40% of students experienced inhibition, 60% could nothing to say, 60.93% low participations and 64.4% used their mother tongue. It can be concluded that of the four factors there is one factor that shows high presentation value, namely the obstacle where most students have obstacles in speaking English so they find it difficult to speak.

Abstract

FlashCard adalah kartu yang berisi materi atau Pelajaran kosakata bahasa inggris yang berbagai macam gambar dan warna yang mudah untuk dipelajari oleh anak-anak dan flashcard disukai anak-anak karena bentuk yang menarik dari flashcard tersebut. Pada kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) di Taman Baca Masyarakat Patria ini kami melakukan kegiatan mengenalkan lebih luas berbagai macam hewan-hewan dan buah-buahan menggunakan media flashcard. Anak-anak di Taman Baca Masyarakat terdiri dari usia 6-10 tahun, selain kami mengenalkan hewan dan buah melalu materi kami juga mengenalkan hewan dan buah dengan bermain game yang berkaitan dengan hewan-hewan dan buah-buahan yang ada di flashcard dan tentunya kosakata yang sudah kami sampaikan di materi. Jenis permainan yang kami buat yaitu puzzle game yang cara bermainnya kami sediakan gambar hewan, nama hewan dalam bentuk bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa inggris secara acak lalu anak-anak akan menyusun sesuai hewan dengan nama hewan bahasa Indonesia maupun bahasa inggris. Karena dari yang kami sudah diskusikan game ini dapat membantu daya ingat anak-anak lebih mudah dalam memahami kosakata yang sudah diberikan serta melalui permainan tersebut anak-anak akan merasa senang dan bersemangat untuk belajar lebih kosakata-kosakata bahasa inggris. Jadi dari kegiatan yang kami laksanakan flashcard membantu anak-anak untuk belajar, mengenal hewan dan buah lebih banyak dalam kosakata bahasa inggris dan memiliki minat yang lebih tinggi untuk belajar. Kata Kunci: Flashcard; Game; Taman Baca; Kosakata; Bahasa Inggris.
