Abstract

Indonesia sebagai negara dengan populasi umat Muslim terbesar di dunia memiliki potensi ekonomi yang signifikan melalui instrumen filantropi Islam, khususnya wakaf. Dengan jumlah umat Muslim mencapai 237 juta jiwa, pengelolaan dana wakaf yang efektif dapat menjadi sumber daya ekonomi yang kuat bagi masyarakat. Meskipun demikian, pengelolaan wakaf di Indonesia masih tertinggal dibandingkan dengan negara-negara Islam lainnya seperti Arab Saudi, Bangladesh, dan Yordania yang telah menjadikan wakaf sebagai pendorong utama kemakmuran umat. Studi ini berfokus pada pengelolaan dana wakaf di dua lembaga pendidikan Islam, yaitu UNISSULA Semarang dan UNISMA Malang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis strategi kualitas dan praktik Total Quality Management (TQM) yang diterapkan di kedua lembaga ini guna meningkatkan kualitas pengelolaan wakaf. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena adanya kesenjangan antara pengelolaan wakaf di Indonesia dengan negara-negara sejenis. Metode penelitian ini melibatkan analisis statistika deskriptif untuk mengevaluasi persepsi responden terhadap delapan indikator strategi kualitas dan aktivitas TQM menggunakan skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa UNISSULA Semarang mengandalkan lima indikator strategi kualitas, termasuk kepemimpinan, pengelolaan efektif, dukungan staf, dan pelatihan. Sementara itu, UNISMA Malang mengusung empat indikator, antara lain fokus pada pelanggan, perbaikan berkelanjutan, pengukuran kinerja, dan ketepatan waktu. Hasil analisis juga mengungkapkan bahwa kedua lembaga memiliki perhatian yang tinggi terhadap kualitas dan menerapkan aktivitas TQM. Mayoritas responden dari UNISSULA Semarang dan UNISMA Malang memberikan penilaian yang positif terhadap kualitas pengelolaan wakaf. Dengan demikian, rekomendasi yang diajukan adalah mempertahankan serta terus meningkatkan kualitas pengelolaan wakaf melalui penerapan strategi kualitas dan praktik TQM yang efektif. Hal ini diharapkan akan memberikan dampak positif bagi perekonomian umat Muslim di Indonesia melalui optimalisasi potensi wakaf.

Abstract

Olak Kemang Village faces significant challenges in managing organic waste, impacting both the environment and health. Unmanaged organic waste produces methane, exacerbating global warming. To address this, IMABIO Universitas Jambi initiated a maggot cultivation training program, transforming waste into animal feed and fertilizer, while creating new economic opportunities. This study aims to empower the community through technical and business training for economic sustainability. The method includes surveys, training, and the establishment of a local organization. As a result, community awareness has increased, and income has grown through the sale of dried maggots. This program offers practical solutions and empowers the community, with the potential to serve as a model for other areas. Abstrak. Kelurahan Olak Kemang menghadapi tantangan besar dalam pengelolaan sampah organik, yang berdampak pada lingkungan dan kesehatan. Sampah organik yang tidak dikelola menghasilkan metana, memperburuk pemanasan global. Untuk mengatasi ini, IMABIO Universitas Jambi memulai program pelatihan budidaya maggot, mengubah sampah menjadi pakan ternak dan pupuk, serta membuka peluang ekonomi baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan memberdayakan masyarakat dengan pelatihan teknis dan bisnis untuk keberlanjutan ekonomi. Metode meliputi survei, pelatihan, dan pembentukan organisasi lokal. Hasilnya, kesadaran masyarakat meningkat dan pendapatan bertambah melalui penjualan maggot kering. Program ini menawarkan solusi praktis dan memberdayakan masyarakat, berpotensi menjadi model bagi daerah lain.

However, in the midst of the degradation of the role of mosques, the Jogokariyan Mosque continues to make efforts to revive mosques through micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) empowerment programs. The aim of this research is to analyze mosque-based empowerment activities using a marketpreneur approach and measure the achievements of maqashid sharia among MSMEs assisted by mosques. The research utilized a descriptive quantitative approach with questionnaires and interviews as survey methods. The sampling used a non-probability sampling approach with a convenience sampling technique. The total samples consisted of 66 MSMEs assisted by the Jogokariyan Mosque. The research results revealed that the Jogokariyan Mosque has fulfilled the marketpreneur’s key measurements, namely business chain strategies and market projections. The business chain strategy activities carried out included coaching via WhatsApp groups, business lessons, and capital assistance. Meanwhile, the market projections implemented were forming partnerships, participating in bazaars, and joining community markets. Through the maqashid sharia approach, two aspects were obtained, namely the spirituality aspect and the business growth aspect. The spirituality aspect shows that business actors have fulfilled the indicators of maintaining religion, self, family, and intellectual with high values. Meanwhile, in terms of business growth, it is still at a moderate level. However, the MSME actors under the support of the Jogokariyan Mosque have overall achieved maqashid sharia.

Abstract

AbstractCompetitiveness is a key factor in tourism sustainable development. Atthe global level, tourism competitiveness is measured by Travel andTourism Development Index (TTDI). However, this indicator widelycriticized for being complex and not represent local tourism resources.A number of countries have begun to replace TTDI with develop newindicators based on local resources. In Indonesia, the government hasNational Tourism Development Index (IPKN), but the indicators adopta global approach without reflecting identity of local resources. Thisstudy aims to provide an alternative perspective tourism developmentbased on local resources. The research method used is qualitativeapproach with a literature study technique. Data sources include bookof Kearifan Lokal Indonesia dan Lingkungan as local tourismresources, TTDI documents as structure of global indicators, andthe G2R (Global Gotong Royong) Tetrapreneur approach as a bottom-up framework. The results show that Indonesia has seven elements oflocal tourism resources. The novelty show that formulation of“LocalityVeness” (Local Competitiveness) model, which is a model formeasuring Indonesia#39;s tourism competitiveness based on localreources. This model is expected to be a conceptual alternative tostrengthen the sustainability, adaptability, and reflect the identity ofIndonesian tourism.AbstrakDaya saing merupakan faktor kunci dalam pengembangan pariwisataberkelanjutan. Pada tingkat global, pengukuran daya saing pariwisatamenggunakan Travel and Tourism Development Index (TTDI). Namun,indikator ini banyak dikritik karena bersifat kompleks dan kurangmerepresentasikan sumber daya pariwisata lokal. Sejumlah negaramulai meninggalkan TTDI dan mengembangkan indikator berbasissumber daya lokal. Di Indonesia, pemerintah telahmengembangkan Indeks Pembangunan Kepariwisataan Nasional(IPKN), namun indikatornya mengadopsi pendekatan global tanpamerefleksikan potensi dan identitas sumber daya lokal. Kajian inibertujuan memberikan pandangan alternatif bahwa penyusunanindikator daya saing pariwisata seharusnya dilakukan berlandaskansumber daya dan kearifan lokal. Metode kajian yang digunakanadalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik studi pustaka. Sumber datamencakup dokumen buku Kearifan Lokal Indonesia danLingkungan untuk mengidentifikasi sumber daya pariwisata lokal,dokumen TTDI untuk melihat struktur indikator global, serta pendekatan G2R (Global Gotong Royong) Tetrapreneur sebagaikerangka berpikir pendekatan bottom-up. Hasil kajian menunjukkanbahwa Indonesia memiliki tujuh unsur kearifan lokal. Kebaruan darikajian ini terletak pada perumusan model “LocalityVeness” (LocalCompetitiveness), yaitu model pengukuran daya saing pariwisataIndonesia yang berbasis kearifan lokal. Model ini diharapkan dapatmenjadi alternatif konseptual untuk memperkuat daya saing pariwisatanasional yang berkelanjutan, adaptif, dan mencerminkan identitaskepariwisataan Indonesia.
