Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Student Organizations, Role Conflict, and Organizational Stress on the Academic Achievement of students in the Faculty of Education (FKIP) at the University of Jambi. This research utilizes a quantitative method. Furthermore, G Power is used to determine an adequate sample size, with a total of 218 collected respondents, reaching a test power of 0.95 from a population of 8,968. Data analysis is conducted using the SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares) method based on Smart PLS version 3.2.9 with established procedures. To generate the Effect Size (F2) value, it is found that the Student Organization variable significantly influences Organizational Stress with values of (0.100), (0.069), and Role Conflict significantly influences Organizational Stress with values of (0.499), (0.729), while Organizational Stress significantly influences Academic Achievement with a value of (0.729). Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that Student Organizations, Role Conflict, and Organizational Stress have a significant and influential impact on the Academic Achievement of students in the Faculty of Education (FKIP) at the University of Jambi. This means that the improvement or decline in Academic Achievement of FKIP students is also influenced by Student Organizations, Role Conflict, and Organizational Stress.

Abstract

Higher education institutions in Indonesia are adapting to global challenges, one of which is the implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), which demands innovative teaching approaches like Project-Based Learning (PjBL). This study aimed to evaluate the impact of project logbook usage on academic self-regulation among students in the Biology Education Program at Universitas Jambi. A quantitative, quasi-experimental approach was employed with a two-group posttest-only design. The participants consisted of 170 students, 78 from the third semester and 92 from the fifth semester. Data were collected using the Academic Self-Regulated Learning (A-SRL) questionnaire and analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U test and Spearmans correlation. The results showed no statistically significant difference in self-regulation between students who used project logbooks and those who did not. Additionally, a weak and non-significant correlation was found between logbook usage and self-regulation. These findings suggest that logbooks alone may not substantially enhance self-regulation. Future research should explore combining logbooks with self-regulation training to improve outcomes.

Abstract

This study looks at how higher education lecturer involvement, learning culture, and knowledge management relate to each other. To improve the effectiveness of education, knowledge management includes the creation, archiving, sharing, and application of information. A supportive learning environment will increase staff and student engagement and encourage creativity and teamwork. Data for this study were collected from lecturers at various universities in Jambi using a quantitative survey method. The findings show that lecturer engagement is influenced by learning culture, which in turn is influenced by knowledge management. Lecturer engagement is also influenced by contact with students, the availability of technology, and university assistance, especially in distance learning. This report suggests further investigation into the variables that affect lecturer participation and the use of learning technology. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between knowledge management, knowledge sharing, innovative behavior and student’s academic achievement using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach. From the result of the analysis, all constructs of the research model have good validity and reliability, and the values of the loading factors, composite stability (CR), and average variance extracted (AVE) are expected to meet the criteria. The data normality test shows that the data distribution is mostly in accordance with normal standards, although there are small deviations that do not significantly affect the results of the analysis. The main result show that knowledge management has a positive effect the results of the analysis. The main results show that knowledge management has a positive effect on students’ innovative behavior and knowledge sharing acts as a moderator that strengthens the relationsip. In addition, innovative behavior has been shown to have a positive impact on students’ academic achievement, with more innovative students tending to have better academic achievement. These results highlight the importance of developing a culture that supports knowledge sharing and innovative behavior in educational institutions to improve academic achievement. Educational institutions are expected to create an environment that supports student collaboration, innovation, and creativity through activities such as group discussions, seminars, and joint projects. Abstract

Student achievement is not only determined by cognitive abilities, but also by non-cognitive factors that influence the student's learning process. In this case, emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, and learning motivation are important aspects that deserve attention. This study examines the influence of emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, and learning motivation on the achievement of Jambi University students. Quantitative research was conducted using Google Forms survey data from 360 students, which was determined by G-Power analysis. Data were analyzed using PLS-SEM. A significant relationship was found between the factors. Academic achievement is strongly influenced by emotional intelligence and self-efficacy (p < 0.05). In addition, emotional intelligence and self-efficacy increase learning motivation and academic achievement (p < 0.05). Academic achievement is moderately influenced by learning motivation. These findings emphasize the relevance of emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, and motivation for student success. These three factors significantly influence student academic success. Emotional intelligence helps students manage emotions and build positive social relationships. Self-efficacy encourages students' self-confidence in completing tasks. Learning motivation is the main driver that increases students' commitment to learning. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, and motivation which are studied holistically to understand their influence on student achievement and the direct and indirect influence of emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, and learning motivation on academic achievement among students.
