Abstract

Imam Al-Ghazali, whose full name is Abu Hamid bin Muhammad bin Ahmad Al-Ghazali, is a prominent figure in Islamic philosophy and theology who was born in 450 AH near Thus, Khurasan, Islamic Republic of Iraq. His important work, "Al-Iqtisad fi al-I'tiqad" (Balance in Belief), provides an in-depth view of Allah's actions, while also being a critical response to Mu'tazilite rationalist thought. This research aims to analyze al-Ghazali's claims regarding Allah's actions and discuss his refutation of Mu'tazilah arguments which emphasize rationality and justice in Divine actions. Al-Ghazali argued that Allah has absolute freedom and his actions are not bound by human understandings of justice and rationality. In contrast, the Mu'tazilites argued that every action of Allah must be in accordance with the principles of justice that can be understood by human reason. This research uses text and context analysis to explore al-Ghazali's argumentative methods and their impact on the theological debates of his time, as well as to understand their relevance in Islamic theological discourse. The results of the research show that according to al-Ghazali, God can burden humans with something they are unable to do, which is different from the Mu'tazilah view which rejects this concept. The Mu'tazilites emphasized that God should not burden humans with something beyond their abilities, because this is considered unfair and destructive. This research provides in-depth insight into al-Ghazali's theological position in defending the doctrine of the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah from the Mu'tazilite rationalist challenge

Abstract

This research was conducted because of the problems of teacher loyalty and performance in elementary schools. This research aims to describe the effect of implementing reward punishment-based Conflict Resolution on the performance and loyalty of elementary school teachers. The research design uses a posttest only control group design. The research population of elementary school teachers was 401 participants. The sample consisted of 120 students who were divided into two experimental classes and two control classes using group random sampling techniques. Data analysis was carried out using ANOVA. The research results show the results of teacher performance and loyalty between those who follow reward and punishment-based conflict resolution policies and those who follow conventional policies with an F_cal value of 22.284 > Ftab (3.93). It can be concluded that there are differences in results between the group of teachers who took part in reward and punishment-based conflict resolution treatment and the teachers who took part in the conventional-based conflict resolution group.

Abstract

Olak Kemang Village faces significant challenges in managing organic waste, impacting both the environment and health. Unmanaged organic waste produces methane, exacerbating global warming. To address this, IMABIO Universitas Jambi initiated a maggot cultivation training program, transforming waste into animal feed and fertilizer, while creating new economic opportunities. This study aims to empower the community through technical and business training for economic sustainability. The method includes surveys, training, and the establishment of a local organization. As a result, community awareness has increased, and income has grown through the sale of dried maggots. This program offers practical solutions and empowers the community, with the potential to serve as a model for other areas. Abstrak. Kelurahan Olak Kemang menghadapi tantangan besar dalam pengelolaan sampah organik, yang berdampak pada lingkungan dan kesehatan. Sampah organik yang tidak dikelola menghasilkan metana, memperburuk pemanasan global. Untuk mengatasi ini, IMABIO Universitas Jambi memulai program pelatihan budidaya maggot, mengubah sampah menjadi pakan ternak dan pupuk, serta membuka peluang ekonomi baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan memberdayakan masyarakat dengan pelatihan teknis dan bisnis untuk keberlanjutan ekonomi. Metode meliputi survei, pelatihan, dan pembentukan organisasi lokal. Hasilnya, kesadaran masyarakat meningkat dan pendapatan bertambah melalui penjualan maggot kering. Program ini menawarkan solusi praktis dan memberdayakan masyarakat, berpotensi menjadi model bagi daerah lain.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi kreator TikTok dalam menyampaikan pendidikan berkarakter Islami kepada Generasi Z. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif yang didukung perangkat lunak NVivo 12, penelitian ini mengungkap bahwa TikTok berperan sebagai media dakwah Islami yang efektif karena mampu menjangkau audiens luas dengan konten pendek, kreatif, dan relevan. Strategi kreator meliputi pemanfaatan tren viral, penggunaan fitur interaktif, storytelling, humor, serta pengoptimalan algoritma TikTok. Meskipun memberikan dampak positif seperti meningkatnya kesadaran religius dan pemahaman nilai-nilai Islami, konten Islami juga menghadapi tantangan seperti persaingan dengan konten hiburan, risiko kecanduan, serta penyebaran hoaks dan konten negatif. Oleh karena itu, pengelolaan konten yang bijak dan strategi yang inovatif diperlukan agar pesan Islami dapat tersampaikan secara efektif dan berkelanjutan. Hasil penelitian menegaskan bahwa dengan strategi yang tepat, TikTok dapat menjadi platform efektif dalam menyampaikan pendidikan berkarakter Islami pada Generasi Z.

Abstract

This research examines the conflict phenomenon between pesantren and the community in Bali which is focused on the leadership of the Kiai. Kiai develops Islam through pesantren. The leadership of the Kiai has strategic aspects in the life of the nation and state. They set conflict resolution with Istiqlal Islamic Boarding School, Buleleng, and the Bali Bina Insani Islamic Boarding School, Tabanan. The theme is a new discourse related to the development of pesantren traditions and values ​​in the discipline of Islamic education management. The leadership of Kiai in Bali is in line with Islamic values. They ​​accomplish the conflict resolution to bring peace to Bali. They actualize it through Islamic boarding schools. Islam means safe and peaceful. The teachings of Islam guide humans on how to get a harmonious and peaceful life. These values ​​become the buffer of human values. Rasulullah SAW taught his followers to spread greetings. The order indicates the existence of Muslims as agents of peace (Ufs al-salam).

Abstract

This article examines the decisions resulting from the parkades conflict that occurred in Madura. The decision in question is the result of deliberation between the two parties who conflict. Conflicts that occur in a prolonged manner, efforts need to be made to resolve them to find a point of contact, such as bringing together the two parties to express feelings experienced, after which a solution is adopted according to mutual agreement. The research method used is qualitative with a field approach. This study found the following results, to resolve conflicts, conflict needs to be a conflict of interest between two parties or groups that occurred in the Pilkades in Madura. The conflict was triggered by internal and external factors. Conflict is inevitable but managed to become a positive potential. Success in managing conflict makes a developed region. Failure to manage conflict results in prolonged tension. The most important thing in a conflict is the procedure for its resolution. Second, conflict resolution in the Madura Pilkades case is a model for resolution in other regions. The stages of completion include the dialogue and mediation stages. At the dialogue stage, the meeting is conducted by bringing together the interests of the parties to the conflict. Dialogue is held by a third party who can bring these two interests together. Mediation is carried out through guidance and initiatives. Guidance is done formally and informally. Initiative actions are carried out by influential figures by involving the parties concerned.

Abstract

The idea of pesantren conflict resolution as a new perspective rise from a view that conflict does not only occur in society on a macro scale, but also affects the world of Islamic education, especially pesantren. At the same time, Kiai has a significant role in curative behavior and initiative to build a public trust in Bali the trigger for the peaceful development of Islam in Bali. Thus, the kiai's actions in conflict resolution through pesantren related to the global, regional and local areas. Conflicts in several islamic countries rises to a gloomy view of pesantren. The people in the West view that pesantren as a hotbed for terrorists. Research of pesantren in Buleleng and Tabanan shows that people have a less understanding about pesantren, so they show the understanding of anti-tolerance and antiglobalization. Those view based on the behavior of non-mainstream who seem closed and do not adapt to the local culture in Bali. They view related to a rigid of Islamic view that different from them as heresy and even infidels. This is evidenced by the case of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat's of several people in Buleleng. The existence of pesantren are closely related to strategic environment, both global, national and local. In the global perspective, pesantren received international attention. In 2016, the Bali Bina Insani was visited by ministres of an international congress on tolerance. They understood that the values of pesantren are directly related to the mission of world peace developement by the United Nations (UN). The tolerance developed by pesantren is being the antidote of conflicts in Islamic countries and other countries in the world.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Upaya Penguatan (Civic Pengetahuan) dalam Meningkatkan Kesadaran Hukum Mahasiswa yang bermula dari beberapa permasalahan kecenderungan mahasiswa masa kini yang tidak taat hukum dan mengutamakan egonya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Universitas Bakti Indonesia, khususnya mahasiswa hukum sebagai sampel pada mata kuliah pendidikan kewarganegaraan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan tipe deskripsi kualitatif dengan menghubungkan studi literatur sebagai bahan referensi pendukung. Adapun hasil penelitian berdasarkan wawancara dengan narasumber, terdapat kepatuhan mahasiswa prodi hukum terhadap peraturan yang disepakati di prodi hukum. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan perubahan yang terjadi pada mata kuliah kewarganegaraan yang dapat disinkronkan dengan kepatuhan mahasiswa terhadap peraturan perundang-undangan yang ada.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan permasalahan yang sering terjadi dilapangan terutama dalam kurangnya loyalitas karyawan, staff, dan lain-lain didunia pekerjaan yang disebabkan oleh pola kepemimpinan, sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja pada indicator loyalitas karyawan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Tindakan sekolah (PTS) dengan sampel penelitian seluruh karyawan, staff, dan dosen dilingkungan sekolah tinggi islam blambangan banyuwangi (STIB) yang berjumlah 25 orang pada semester ganjil tahun akademik 2023/2024 dengan analisis data menggunakan indicator pencapaikan kompetensi. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini terdapat peningkatan kinerja pada indicator loyalitas karyawan, staff, dan dosen STIB dengan nilai siklus pertama terdapat empat karyawan yang masuk dalam kategori berkembang sangat baik (4), sedangkan pada siklus kedua sebanyak 14 karyawan mendapatkan kategori loyalitas berkembang sangat baik (4) sedangkan sisanya mendapatkan loyalitas berkembagn sesuai harapan.
