Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of giving rewards on employee work motivation at the central Statistics Agency of Bone Bolango Regency. This research data was obtained from research questionnaires, observation and literature studies related to research objectives. This research uses quantitative methods. The analysis technique uses simple linier regression analysis using the SPSS application. The total sample was 30 respondents using saturated sampling techniques. The calculation results obtained a calculated t value 0f 4.324 with a significance level of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05. the regression coefficient of 0.633 states tha every additional 1 reward will is 1, it is predicted tha work motivation will decrease by 0.633. the research results show tha the reward variable has a significant effect on employee work motivation at the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Bone Bolango Regency.

Abstract

This study presents a bibliometric analysis of research on human capital development in developing countries, utilizing data from the Scopus database and visualization tools from VOSviewer. By examining 1,842 scholarly publications from 2000 to 2024, the analysis identifies key themes, influential authors, collaboration patterns, and temporal trends in the literature. The findings highlight that “human capital” is closely interlinked with core concepts such as “economic development,” “education,” and “sustainable development,” reflecting its central role in the discourse on inclusive growth. Over time, research has expanded to encompass newer topics like “innovation,” “climate change,” and “foreign direct investment,” indicating a shift toward integrative and forward-looking frameworks. Co-authorship and country collaboration maps reveal a dominant role of developed nations, particularly the United States, but also an encouraging rise in contributions from emerging economies in Africa and Asia. While the literature is increasingly diversified and collaborative, gaps remain in gendered analysis, informal labor perspectives, and South–South knowledge production. This study underscores the need for more inclusive, interdisciplinary, and context-sensitive approaches to advance the human capital agenda in developing countries.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang berfokus pada pendampingan penyusunan Rencana Kerja Anggaran (RKA) 2025 di Sekretariat Daerah Provinsi Gorontalo telah memberikan dampak positif terhadap penguatan kapasitas pengelolaan keuangan daerah. Melalui program ini, tim pengabdian melakukan pelatihan dan bimbingan langsung kepada staf Sekretariat Daerah, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang prinsip-prinsip penganggaran yang efektif dan transparan. Dampak yang dihasilkan mencakup peningkatan kemampuan dalam merumuskan anggaran yang responsif terhadap kebutuhan masyarakat, serta penguatan akuntabilitas dalam pengelolaan dana publik. Selain itu, kegiatan ini mendorong partisipasi masyarakat dalam proses perencanaan, sehingga menciptakan rasa kepemilikan yang lebih besar terhadap program-program pemerintah. Penerapan indikator kinerja dalam RKA 2025 juga memungkinkan pemantauan dan evaluasi yang lebih baik, sehingga hasil dari anggaran dapat diukur dan dievaluasi secara tepat. Dengan demikian, pendampingan ini tidak hanya berkontribusi pada efektivitas pengelolaan anggaran, tetapi juga pada peningkatan kualitas pelayanan publik dan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap pemerintah daerah di Gorontalo.
