Abstract

Tanaman kelapa sebagai tanaman tropis, merupakan tanaman komoditi tumbuh dan berkembang dengan baik di Indonesia. Secara khusus, tanaman ini tumbuh di sepanjang pasir pantai dan secara umum dapat tumbuh di dataran tinggi serta lereng gunung. Salah satu wilayah penghasil kelapa yang melimpah adalah Sulawesi Tengah (Kabupaten Donggala). Ampas kelapa memiliki keunggulan sebagai pendukung kelestarian ketahanan pangan, hal tersebut ditunjang oleh potensi produksi yang tinggi. Untuk meningkatkan pemanfaatan limbah ampas kelapa salah satunya dapat dilakukan dalam proses pembuatan tepung. permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra adalah Kurangnya informasi yang didapatkan oleh petani kelapa tentang pembuatan tepung ampas kelapa yang bernilai gizi dan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pengganti tepung terigu untuk produk pangan lainnya. Solusi pemecahan masalahnya dilakukan melalui pelatihan ataupun workshop dan bimbingan tentang pembuatan tepung ampas kelapa bagi para petani kelapa. Pembuatan tepung dari ampas kelapa dan olahan makanan sehat berbasis tepung ampas kelapa tersebut dapat meningkatkan kesehatan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat kecamatan tanantovea khususnya ibu-ibu.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of applying the STEM approach using Google Classroom on student learning outcomes in acid-base learning. This research is quantitative experimental research with a quasi-experimental. The quasi-experimental design used in this study is a nonequivalent control group design. The sample in this study were students of class XI IPA SMA Al-Khairaat Kolono, 25 students of class XI IPA 1 and 22 students of class XI IPA 2. Data collection techniques used observation and giving tests consisting of pretest and posttest. The results of the learning activity data acquisition were the experimental class 80.4% and the control class 87.5%. This shows that the learning activities of students and teachers during the learning process are categorized as very high. The results of the student test analysis obtained a significance value from the t-test analysis of 0.002 <0.05 so it can be seen that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an effect of student learning outcomes on the application of the STEM approach to acid-base learning using Google Classroom.

Abstract

In the process of studying chemistry there is a demand for the development of scientific thinking skills. In the process of developing scientific thinking skills, this means that there is a process of growing problem-solving skills. Problem-solving abilities are closely related to metacognition. This study aims to analyze and describe the relationship between the level of metacognition and gender of students. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Dampal Selatan with 90 students as research subjects. This research is a qualitative descriptive study so that the data is in the form of essay test results. The results of the essay test were grouped by gender, then analyzed and determined by the level of metacognition based on indicators of metacognition level. The results obtained from this study are female students are more active and have a higher level of metacognition than male students.

Abstract

The mean values of MAN 2 Palu students on the topic of reaction rates in the last three years are low. The cause of low learning outcomes is learning that has not paid attention to students’ average learning styles. The learning model used in this study is a guided inquiry model with an active dimensional learning style. The research sample selection technique was purposive sampling by taking into account the average student learning outcomes. The research samples were 27 students in class XI MIA6 as an experimental class, learning with the model and class XI MIA4 with 27 students as a class, learning with a guided inquiry control model. The stages of the research were identifying students' learning styles in the experimental class, applying the ITG-Dia model in chemistry learning by observing attitudes and skills activities and ending with giving an evaluation. The results of the learning style assistance were obtained by 8 students with an active dimension style which were then distributed to each group before learning was carried out. The results of the experimental class research obtained an average altitude of 84.26 (very good); skills of 79.42 (good); learning outcomes of 83; n-gain of 0.78 (high). Control class observations obtained an average altitude of 85.93 (very good); skills 79,79,56 (good); learning outcomes 60.78; n-gain 0.50 (medium). The results of the t-test statistical analysis obtained t 13.12 and t 1.67. The results of the statistical analysis showed that there were significant differences in student learning in the experimental class and the control class. Based on statistical analysis, it can be concluded that the application of the active-reflective dimensional model affects increases students' chemistry learning outcomes.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi masyarakat yang ada di Dusun Sidondo dalam memanfaatkan limbah rumah tangga dan mengolahnya menjadi cairan ecoenzym. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan terhadap pelatihan tersebut adalah dengan meliputi kehadiran, pre test, pelaksanaan pelatihan dan posttest. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan melakukan proses kehadiran kepada masyarakat yang mengikuti pelatihan tersebut, antusiasme masyarakat, dan tanggapan peserta terhadap kegiatan pelatihan, serta produk yang dihasilkan berupa ecoenzym yang dihasilkan oleh masyarakat dalam pelatihan tersebut. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan kegiatan telah mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah limbah rumah tangga menjadi ecoenzyme. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan respon, semangat dan penerimaan, kehadiran, dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam kegiatan peklatihan yang sangat baik. Produk ecoenzyme yang dihasilkan oleh peserta telah memenuhi beberapa indicator, yaitu warna kecoklatan, bau khas buah dengan sedikit aroma alcohol, pH asam (3-4), dan tidak ditumbuhi jamur atau belatung.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of numerical ability in class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Parigi Kab. Parigi Moutong. This research was carried out from January to March 2023. The research method used is quantitative descriptive. Data analysis using descriptive statistics. The sampling technique is random sampling. The research instrument used was a description numerical ability test. The results showed that the level of students' numerical abilities on the indicators of performing mathematical calculations was in the low category, with a percentage of 28.44%. The logical thinking indicator obtained low category results with a percentage of 28.24%. The problem-solving indicator obtained a very low category result of 11.45%. On indicators recognising patterns and relationships between numbers, results with a percentage are in the very low category. Data on the results of students' numerical abilities at SMA Negeri 1 Parigi are categorised as very low. The results of this study are expected to be a source of information regarding the numerical ability of class XI students in chemical equilibrium material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui evaluasi pembelajaran daring menggunakan aplikasi WhatsApp pada mata pelajaran kimia di kelas XI di SMA Kabupaten Donggala. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik dari beberapa sekolah yang ada di SMA Kabupaten Donggala yang berjumlah sekitar 98 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket ( kuesioner), wawancara, dan dokumentasi . Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan dalam evaluasi pembelajaran daring menggunakan aplikasi Whatsapp pada mata pelajaran kimia di kelas XI SMA di Donggala, didapatkan hasilnya dalam pengenalan Whatsapp 76,7 % menunjukkan bahwa Sebagian besar peserta didik mengetahui aplikasi dan cara penggunaan aplikasi, 53,4 % menyatakan setuju bahwa keterlaksanaan prose belajar terlaksana dengan baik, 42,5 % menyatakan bahwa dengan adanya aplikasi Whatsapp membuat guru dan siswa bisa berkomunikasi dan berintekasi dan mengakses materi yang diberikan dengan baik dan 40,3 % menyatakan bahwa tidak  memiliki kendala dalam keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa evaluasi proses pembelajaran daring di SMA Kabupaten Donggala kategori baik.

Abstract

This study analyzes the science literacy abilities of students at SMA Negeri 6 Sigi, focusing specifically on chemistry literacy. The objective is to evaluate the extent to which students understand chemistry concepts and can apply them in solving everyday problems. Using a mixed-method approach, qualitative data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire, while quantitative data were gathered from a multiple-choice test requiring reasoned responses. Results show that while students self-report high levels of chemistry understanding, their actual performance in applying these concepts is limited, with significant discrepancies observed between perceived and demonstrated abilities. The study highlights the importance of incorporating contextual and inquiry-based learning approaches in chemistry instruction to improve conceptual understanding and reasoning skills. These findings provide valuable insights for educators in enhancing chemistry literacy through real-life applications, ultimately fostering students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
