Abstract

A country's economic growth cannot be separated from the role of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as the backbone of a strong economy. MSMEs experience various problems, including limited access to resources, inadequate infrastructure, and the inability to compete on a larger scale. These factors become obstacles for MSMEs to optimize their potential and compete in an increasingly complex market . It is important for MSME players to improve their product advantages or marketing strategies, because MSMEs are one of the important business sectors in Indonesia. There are not many studies that systematically measure the contribution of financial literacy in building the competitive advantage of MSMEs, especially in the Indonesian context. This research tries to open a new space by using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to detail the understanding of the concept of financial literacy and its implications for the competitive advantage of MSMEs in Indonesia. The importance of this research lies in the urgency to provide a more comprehensive view of how financial literacy can make a concrete contribution in establishing and maintaining the competitive advantage of MSMEs. Results of this research state that Financial literacy has a significant role in helping MSMEs face financial challenges and compete in a dynamic market. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide practical and policy implications for stakeholders, government and business people in increasing the financial literacy of MSMEs, so as to create an environment that supports the growth and competitiveness of MSMEs in Indonesia.

Abstract

The owner of this Kopi Aren small business located in Bandung, in the application of financial literacy is more assisted by the Digitalization system or can be called financial technology, according to the explanation from the owner that this system is very helpful for performance, especially finance in the operation of daily operational activities. Digitalization is already a very important thing to use in its business. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of the use of financial literacy in small businesses in Palm Coffee carried out by the owner. The research used is using the Qualitative method which is carried out by means of interviews and field observations in the application before and after financial literacy is applied. The results obtained from applying the concept of financial literacy turned out to be enough to improve their business, so that finances were more structured and clearer. Here it can be seen that the implementation for financial literacy is very useful for the progress of this small business business venture and can be applied to other small business businesses.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to investigate the concrete steps needed to start a dream business in the era of digital transformation. Through a step-by-step approach, researchers intend to provide practical guidance for entrepreneurs who want to utilize digital technology to create sustainable businesses. The novelty of this research lies in its systematic and detailed approach in assembling the steps needed to start a dream business. By emphasizing the importance of integrating digital technology in every stage, researchers bring the concept of digital transformation from theory to practice. The urgency of this research is increasingly felt amidst changing market dynamics and pressure to adapt to technological changes. Businesses that are unable to adapt to these changes risk being left behind and losing their competitive edge. The method used in this research is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by collecting relevant previous research through publish or publish then analyzing the article and narrowing it down regarding keywords. Through a literature review approach, the author explores the basic concepts of digital business transformation and its implementation framework in the context of a start-up business. Researchers detail the basic concepts of digital business transformation and the urgency of implementing them among business actors. The results of this research provide practical guidance that can help entrepreneurs start their dream business with targeted and effective steps. By utilizing digital technology wisely, businesses can increase their operational efficiency and expand market reach. Researchers also provide implications regarding the importance of awareness and skills in utilizing digital technology as a tool to achieve business goals. Additionally, the emphasis on business sustainability underscores the importance of considering the environmental and social impacts of business activities. As a recommendation , entrepreneurs are advised to continue to develop digital literacy and actively seek opportunities to integrate technology in their business strategies. Additionally, collaboration with other stakeholders, including governments and non-governmental organizations, can help create a business ecosystem that supports sustainability and innovation

Abstract

The phenomenon of the Covid-19 pandemic has caused several property and real estate companies to experience financial difficulties. The domino effect of the Covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact on the economy, especially property and real estate companies. Many companies experience a decline in financial conditions that occurred before bankruptcy or can be called financial distress. This study aims to provide empirical evidence regarding the effect of profitability, liquidity, and leverage on financial distress. The number of companies that were sampled in this study were 23 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019 - 2020 period. The urgency of this research was carried out because in the current state of the economic crisis, it is necessary to organize a financial strategy through maximum profitability, liquidity, leverage will avoid Financial Distress on the company. The results of this study indicate that partially profitability (X1), liquidity (X2), leverage (X3) have a significant effect on financial distress in property and real estate companies. The results of the study also show that simultaneously profitability (X1), liquidity (X2), leverage (X3) have a significant effect on financial distress in property and real estate companies. Based on the results of these studies, this research has implications for investors and potential investors to be wiser in making investment decisions in a company, taking into account the condition and financial performance of the company and other factors so that the investment becomes more precise and generates the desired profit.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has changed global business patterns, including in Indonesia, through the growth of e-commerce, social media, and online platforms. This change opens up great opportunities for students as the educated young generation to develop online businesses. This research aims to explore students' online business readiness from a digital mindset perspective through a phenomenological study approach among students in Malang. The research focuses on online business readiness, digital mindset, attitudes towards technology, and the contribution of entrepreneurship learning, which are analyzed using the Theory of Planned Behavior framework(Ajzen, 1991) and Entrepreneurial Mindset Theory. The research used qualitative methods with in-depth interviews with online business students. The results show that students have a basic understanding of digital business, especially in utilizing social media and marketplaces. A positive attitude towards technology has been formed, indicated by perceived benefits and ease of use. However, a gap emerges between technical skills and long-term strategic planning capabilities. Innovation and problem-solving tend to be reactive, simply following trends, while psychological resistance such as fear of fraud and data security remain barriers. This research confirms that online business readiness is not only determined by technical skills, but also by the strengthening of an adaptive, innovative digital mindset. Abstract

In the midst of global economic turmoil, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises MSMEs in Indonesia play an important role as the backbone of the local economy. MSMEs face serious challenges that affect the performance of MSMEs. The novelty of this research lies in the approach of a combination of systematic literature review and in-depth empirical research. Involving stakeholders, especially MSME owners and financial management practitioners, provides valuable practical perspectives. This research has important implications for government policy, related institutions, business practitioners, and academia. The findings are expected to be a strategic guide for the development of training programs, more effective financial management models, and policies that support MSME growth. The method used in this study is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by collecting and analyzing journals related to keywords. Based on the literature study conducted, it was foundĀ  that the need for more in-depth regarding the relationship between financial management and MSME performance can provide policy guidance for the government and related institutions, as well as practical insights for MSME owners, business practitioners, consultants, and academics in developing financial management models that are more effective and relevant in the context of MSMEs in Indonesia. This research covers important aspects and makes a substantial contribution in the understanding of the relationship between financial management and MSME performance.
