Abstract

This article elaborate the teaching of writing procedure text by using team pair solo technique. The steps or procedures of using this technique are described thoroughly. This technique can be one option for the teachers to assist them in teaching learning writing of English.

Abstract

This study analyzes the Theme and Rheme of Russian President Vladimir Putin's speech and evaluates its effectiveness. The speech delivered during his annual address to the Federal Assembly in Moscow, the speech often attracted public interest and curiosity about its meaning. It had a significant impact on social media platforms like TikTok and YouTube, becoming viral. This significant attention was why Putin's speech was chosen for this research. The research employed a qualitative approach. The data were viral speech delivered by Putin in Moscow in 2024. Data were collected through observation and analyzed by comparing, describing, classifying, and presenting it using tables and descriptions. The findings showed 1 Unmarked Simple Theme (UST) (11.1%), 3 Unmarked Multiple Themes (UMT) (44.4%), no Marked Simple Theme (MST), and 3 Marked Multiple Themes (MMT) (44.4%) in the speech. The dominance of UMT and MMT was due to the "marking" function, emphasizing statehood and nationalism. The speech discussed global conflict-causing behaviors, emphasizing that Russia will not be influenced by other countries, especially Ukraine. In conclusion, the speech effectively conveyed its message through a primarily declarative and expressive mode in terms of Theme and Rheme.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan bahan ajar elektronik canva virus sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan pada kelas X3 SMA Negeri 11 Maros. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling yakni pada kelas X3 SMA Negeri 11 Maros tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 30 item. Data penelitian ini dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara hasil belajar siswa sebelum perlakuan yang rata-rata= 28,74 dan hasil belajar sesudah perlakuan= 73,24. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis yang diperoleh thitungttabel (24,0212,034). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar elektronik canva virus dapat digunakan sebagai media interaktif di era kurikulum merdeka kelas X3 SMA Negeri 11 Maros. The results of the data analysis showed that there was a difference between student learning outcomes before treatment which averaged = 28.74 and learning outcomes after treatment = 73.24. Based on the hypothesis test obtained tcount> ttable (24.021> 2.034). The results of the study indicate that electronic teaching materials canva virus can be used as interactive media in the era of the independent curriculum for class X3 of SMA Negeri 11 Maros. Abstract

Memiliki kemampuan dalam mengatur sitasi dan daftar referensi pada penulisan artikel ilmiah merupakan hal yang sangat penting dan mendasar. Terdapat banyak software manajemen referensi yang dapat digunakan agar kegiatan mengatur, menyimpan dan membuat daftar sumber referensi menjadi sangat mudah, diantaranya yaitu dengan software Endnote dan Zotero. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada guru-guru SMK Negeri 3 Pangkep untuk bisa menggunakan software manajemen referensi dalam penulisan artikel ilmiah sehingga para guru dapat lebih produktif dalam menulis. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan respon yang positif dari para guru, mereka berpendapat kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat dan menambah pengetahuan yang baru. Apalagi, sebagai pendidik, mereka diharuskan untuk selalu berkarya dan produktif, dalam hal ini software manajemen referensi sangat mempermudah dalam menuliskan sebuah karya ilmiah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of customer service and promotion partially and simultaneously on customer decisions to save at Bank Nagari Pasar Raya Branch. This study uses a quantitative type, the data used is primary data sourced from respondents who are used as samples using the Cohran method. The sample in this study amounted to 97 research respondents. The sample selection method used in this study is the incidental sampling technique which is classified as one of the non-probability sampling techniques. Hypothesis testing with multiple linear regression models. The results of the study are that Customer Service has a positive effect on the Decision to use savings products at Bank Nagari Pasar Raya Branch. Promotion has an effect on the Decision to use savings products at Bank Nagari Pasar Raya Branch. Based on the results of the t-test, it was found that the Promotion variable has the largest t-count value and beta coefficient. So that the Promotion variable has the strongest influence compared to other variables, the Promotion variable has a dominant influence on the Decision to use savings products at Bank Nagari. In addition, the determination test (R2) showed that the ability of the independent variables, namely Customer Service and promotion to the dependent variable, namely the decision to use savings products, was 75.7% while the remaining 24.3% was influenced by other variables that were not studied. Abstract

This research aims 1). To determine the partial influence of Customer Service on the decision to save at Bank Nagari Pasar Raya Branch savings. 2). To determine the partial effect of promotions in increasing the number of customers in Bank Nagari savings products, Pasar Raya Branch 3). To determine the influence of Customer Service and simultaneous promotions on customers' decisions to deposit at Bank Nagari Pasar Raya Branch. This research uses a quantitative research method, where the sampling technique uses a total sampling technique, with a sample size of 97.The analysis technique is multiple regression analysis. The results of this research show that based on the statistical t-test, it proves that the customer service variable has a significant influence on the decision to use savings products as indicated by a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05. Based on the statistical t-test, it also proves that the promotional variable has a partially significant effect on the decision to use savings products as indicated by a significance value of 0.000<0.05. Based on the f test, customer service and promotion simultaneously influence the decision to use savings products for Bank Nagari, Pasar Raya Branch, Padang customers, which is indicated by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The R Square test results show that overall the variables have an influence of 75.7% on employee performance.
