Abstract

Behavior between fellow students is an increasingly disturbing phenomenon in the school environment. This can have a negative impact on the mental and emotional health of students who are victims. In facing this problem, teachers have an important role in responding to it. Teachers' efforts to address behavior include an educational approach, fostering positive values, creating an inclusive and supportive environment, and providing an understanding of the importance of respecting differences. The type of research used is qualitative, a research model that uses descriptive data in the form of written or spoken language from people and actors who can be observed. This qualitative research is carried out to explain and analyze individual or group phenomena, events, social dynamics, attitudes, beliefs and perceptions. The conclusion is that, with the active role of teachers, it is hoped that the school environment can become a safe and supportive place for all students, without discrimination based on physical appearance.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of finding out the teaching style of Civics Teachers at SMP N 35 Medan and to find out what facilities the teacher uses when teaching in class.This research method is to use a descriptive qualitative method using a field study approach. The results of this research show that the PPKn teachers at the school use an interactional teaching style and the learning facilities used are quite simple, such as the use of blackboards, study tables and PPKn package books.The conclusion is that the teacher has taught according to the RPP that has been prepared and he teaches well and with quality.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the existence of the Almighty God in the Regulations for Establishing Houses of Worship. In this research the author uses normative legal techniques which are library research, which is carried out by examining all laws and regulations related to the problem that is the object of this research. This research is intended to find out the regulations for establishing places of worship in the Joint Regulations of the Minister of Religion and the Minister of Home Affairs Number 9 and 8 of 2006 based on the principles of the one and only God. The results of this research indicate that there is inequality in establishing places of worship for minority groups due to the requirements in these regulations being dominated by the majority group.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of political participation as an indicator of the quality of local democracy in the 2024 Medan City Regional Election. Vegetable vendors in the MMTC area, as an informal economic group, hold significant voting potential; however, the determinants of their political participation have not been extensively studied. The research problem is the factors influencing the political participation of MMTC vegetable vendors in the 2024 Regional Election. The study aims to analyze the determinants of political participation based on structural, sociological, ecological, psychosocial, and rational choice factors. The method used is qualitative descriptive. Primary data was obtained through observation and in-depth interviews with vegetable vendors as research subjects, while secondary data was sourced from relevant literature and documents. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the political participation of MMTC vegetable vendors in the 2024 Medan City Regional Election is influenced by structural, sociological, ecological, social-psychological, and rational choice factors, where structural factors are not yet dominant due to a low level of understanding of the Regional Election system, while sociological, ecological, psychosocial, and rational choice factors are the ones that more significantly influence the vendors’ political choices.
