Abstract

Anak tunanetra memiliki performa aktivitas fisik harian yang lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan sebaya mereka yang memiliki penglihatan, termasuk olahraga. Anak dengan gangguan penglihatan memiliki gerakan motorik yang tidak ideal karena indera penglihatan penting untuk keakuratan gerakan secara optimal. Faktor yang mempengaruhi derajat tidak idealnya gerakan adalah tingkat gangguan penglihatan, status kelahiran (cukup bulan atau prematur) dan latar belakang pengetahuan tentang kemampuan atau konsep gerakan. Penguasaan keterampilan motorik yang memadai, terutama keterampilan lokomotor dan motorik kasar, berkaitan dengan peningkatan tingkat aktivitas fisik selama prasekolah, anak, dan remaja. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SLB A YPAB Surabaya di mana dalam mengajarkan gerakan melempar, guru hanya memberikan instruksi secara lisan dan sesekali mengarahkan tangan ke arah bola untuk mengambil bola, namun tidak untuk menuntun anak melakukan gerakan tersebut. Hal ini kemungkinan disebabkan karena tidak adanya tenaga pendidik pelajaran kesehatan jasmani sehingga kurang memiliki pengetahuan tentang gerakan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi keefektifitasan 2 metode pelatihan, yaitu pelatihan menggunakan indera pendengaran saja dan menggunakan indera pendengaran dan peraba pada tingkat penguasaan gerakan one-handed overarm throw serta respon psikologis subjek yang nantinya dapat digunakan sebagai bahan dasar pertimbangan penyusunan metode pengajaran gerakan pada siswa sekolah dasar dengan gangguan penglihatan. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan adanya tingkat penguasaan yang lebih baik pada siswa yang diberikan pelatihan menggunakan indera pendengaran dan peraba dibandingkan dengan pendengaran saja. Secara psikologis, siswa dengan pelatihan menggunakan indera peraba dan pendengaran menunjukkan respon yang lebih positif.

Abstract

Communication in the digital age has been transformed into more complicated ways due to various mediums and platforms based on information technology and digital devices. The digital age has brought about complex changes to communication through the use of technology and digital devices. It has more threats as well as benefits and innovations. In the meantime, many people who engaged in communication don’t fully take advantages but fall into miscommunication due to lack of digital literacy. In particular, in the field of health services, the threats of digital communication would make people, for instances the patients, in danger. While it offers benefits and innovations, it also brings new threats, particularly in the field of healthcare where miscommunication can harm patients mentally and physically. The miscommunication, misunderstanding etc. would harm their health mentally and physically. To address these issues, it is crucial to explore and analyze communication from multiple perspectives using scientific approaches. Hence, thinking and research on communication is extremely important. Various scientific approaches should be applied to analyze and sharpen communication in multiple perspectives. This manuscript discusses soft-skills of communication in the field of health issues of the digital era. This study is an attempt to invent the theoretical foundation of the ways in communication throughout analytical and philosophical approaches. It is Neurophilocommunication (NPC) that comprise of thoughts in communication that could be applied in the field of health issues on digital base and platforms.This study proposes NPC, a concept combining communication and neuroscience to enhance communication in healthcare in the digital era. The goal is to establish a theoretical foundation for effective communication and to improve the health outcomes of patients.

Abstract

The government had imposed restrictions on community activities to overcome COVID-19. That impacted health services, mainly routine control queues for chronic disease patients. Digitalization of health services is a solution, but it needs to be supported by human resources with good digital literacy. This study aims to determine the relationship between the profile of hospital employees and health workers and the level of digital literacy at the National Hospital (NH). The theory used is about digital literacy and health services. Digital literacy is necessary for public health service units in the new media era. Increasing digital literacy among employees and paramedics in hospitals is a challenge. This research method uses descriptive quantitative, with a cross-sectional design. Demographic data and the level of digital literacy of NH employees were obtained using a questionnaire via Google Forms. Correlation analysis uses a significance test of the relationship between two variables; correlation and comparison are used as measurement analysis. The results show that the literacy level of NH employees is dimension two (2) with a proficiency level of 8 based on Digicomp 2.1. Productive age, women, undergraduate education, and the nursing profession has high digital literacy. This study concludes that the digitization of health services in NH is booming due to the high level of employee digital literacy with the employee profile above. This research contributes to an overview of employee profiles, which can be considered when recruiting employees.
