Abstract

This study emphasizes the functions of the Indonesian Deposit Insurance Corporation (Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan, LPS) in savings and loan cooperatives (KSP), such as managing funds and managing risks. KSPs play an important role in the micro economy, especially in providing financial access to people who are not served by banks and other formal financial institutions. This research employs a qualitative methodology and uses a literature review approach. A qualitative approach was chosen as it allows for a more in-depth understanding of the complex issues of risk management, fund management, and deposit insurance functions in savings and loan cooperatives in Indonesia. To ensure the viability and health of this sector that aims to make a significant contribution to financial inclusion and inclusive economic growth, the government, financial institutions, and cooperatives must work together. To advance the savings and loan cooperative sector in Indonesia, strategic measures should be taken, such as improving risk management and supporting IDICs. Ultimately, this will support the stability of the national financial system and the economic well-being of people in Indonesia.

Abstract

Cooperatives play a crucial role as business entities in enhancing the people's economy in Indonesia. Rooted in the principles of kinship and mutual cooperation, cooperatives aim to improve the welfare of their members and society at large, rather than merely pursuing profit. This study employs a descriptive analysis method to examine the role of cooperatives as a pillar of the people's economy, focusing on their contributions to microeconomic empowerment, job creation, and strengthening community purchasing power. The findings indicate that cooperatives significantly contribute to local economic growth, particularly through synergy with MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises), as well as by providing members with access to capital and training. However, challenges such as weak management, low financial literacy, and inadequate technological adaptation still hinder the optimization of cooperatives' roles. On the other hand, sharia cooperatives also emphasize social functions based on principles of justice and social responsibility. To enhance the contribution of cooperatives, institutional strengthening, professional management, and regulatory support from the government are required. Thus, cooperatives remain relevant as instruments for inclusive and sustainable economic development in Indonesia.

Abstract

The growth of the digital marketplace presents both opportunities and challenges for MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) in protecting their trademarks. This study aims to analyze the legal protections against trademark infringement of local products in the digital marketplace, identify the challenges faced by MSMEs, and formulate effective preventive and repressive strategies. The research employs a normative-empirical approach, analyzing Law No. 20 of 2016 on Trademarks, the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (ITE Law), and a case study of the MSME MoriGe. The findings reveal that while Indonesia's legal framework for trademark protection is adequate, its implementation faces obstacles such as low awareness among MSMEs regarding trademark registration, slow law enforcement, and the complexity of infringements in the digital space. This study recommends proactive trademark registration, enhanced collaboration with digital platforms, and widespread legal outreach to MSMEs. The research findings are expected to contribute to strengthening legal protections for local product trademarks in the digital era.

Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews with industry players, academics, and policy makers, as well as analysis of related documents. The results showed that the combination of formal and non-formal education, cooperation between industry and educational institutions, and the use of modern technology play an important role in the development of human resources. Although formal education provides a solid theoretical foundation, non-formal education and technologies such as e-learning and VR can help improve certain practical skills according to market needs. . Collaboration between industry and educational institutions ensures relevant curricula and valuable practical experience for learners. Despite challenges such as limited resources and rapid technological change, effective education and training can enhance the competitiveness and growth of creative industries.
