Abstract

Bus systems are an important component of modern computer organization and architecture. In this context, the two types of buses that stand out are Universal Serial Bus (USB) and Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI). The USB bus is an interface standard commonly used to connect various external devices to a computer, while PCI is an internal bus that connects computer components. This study aims to analyze the role and characteristics of the USB and PCI bus systems in computer organization and architecture. The results of this analysis provide an in-depth understanding of the role of USB and PCI bus systems in modern computer organization and architecture. This information can help IT professionals and system designers make decisions regarding hardware connectivity and performance in a variety of computing environments.

Abstract

As time goes by, existing technology continues to develop, one of which is network communication technology. LAN Computer Network or Local Area Network is a computer network consisting of several computers connected to each other in a relatively small area such as a building, campus or office. This research was conducted to see how a LAN network works to deliver data or information. This research is a type of descriptive research. The methods used in this research are literature study and simulation methods. The simulation is carried out using the Cisco network application. As a result, the Cisco application can project the working principles of a LAN network.

Abstract

Vocational education, especially in Vocational High Schools (SMK), has an important role in preparing competent and skilled human resources (HR) to meet the needs of the world of work. In facing the challenges of evolving technology, the block system is applied as a learning innovation to align education with industry needs. This system allows students to focus on mastering productive competencies through structured learning, such as Field Work Practices (PKL) and productive subjects. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with observation and interviews to evaluate the implementation of the block system at SMK Negeri 4 Serang City. The results showed that the block system has great potential in improving students' confidence and competence, but obstacles such as limited facilities, schedules, and teacher training are still the main challenges. Efforts to overcome these obstacles include cooperation between schools, parents and industry, as well as increasing teacher capacity through training. With planned implementation and optimal support from all parties, the block system can contribute significantly to producing graduates who are competent, disciplined and ready to compete in the job market.
