Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the impact of job stress and job satisfaction on psychological well-being among employees of private universities in Medan. The population in this study consisted of 3,000 employees of private universities in Medan. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, where the population was selected based on specific criteria and using the Slovin formula, resulting in a sample size of 352 employees of PTS City of Medan. The study employed a quantitative approach. The instruments used were validated and reliable questionnaires on Job Stress, Job Satisfaction, and Psychological Well-Being. This study was analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that: (1) There is an impact of Job Stress and Job Satisfaction on Psychological Well-Being with F calculated = 168.053 > F table value = 3.02 with a significance value of 0.000 (p< 0.05) (2) There is a negative and significant impact of Job Stress on Psychological Well-Being with a calculated T value of -4.071 > T table = 1.967, and a significance level of 0.000 (p<0.05) (3) There is a positive and significant impact of Job Satisfaction on Psychological Well-Being with a calculated T value of 3.982 > T table = 1.967, and a significance level of 0.000 (p<0.05).Keyword: Job Stress, Job Satisfaction, Psychological Well-BeingAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak Job Stress dan Job Satisfaction Terhadap Psychological Well-Being Pada Karyawan PTS Kota Medan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 3000 Karyawan PTS Kota Medan. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dengan teknik total sampling, dimana seluruh populasi akan menjadi sampel, sehingga jumlah sampelnya adalah 35 Karyawan PTS Kota Medan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Instumen yang digunakan adalah angket Job Stress dan Job Satisfaction dan Psychological Well-Being yang telah valid dan reliabel. Penelitian ini dianalisis dengan uji analisi regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Ada dampak Job Stress dan Job Satisfaction terhadap Psychological Well-Being dengan F hitung= 168.053 > nilai F tabel = 3.02 dengan nilai signifikansi 0.000 (p< 0.05) (2) Ada dampak negatif dan signifikan Job Stress terhadap Psychological Well-Being dengan nilai T hitung= -4.071 > T tabel = 1,967, dan tarag signifikansi 0.000 (p<0.05) (3) Ada dampak positif dan signifikan Job Satisfaction terhadap Psychological Well-Being dengan nilai T hitung= 3.982 > T tabel = 1,967, dan taraf signifikansi 0.000 (p<0.05).Kata kunci: Job Stress, Job Satisfaction, Psychological Well-Being

Abstract

Abstract: This community service activity was carried out at Treat Coffee and Beans, with the aim of improving barista service communication skills to strengthen customer satisfaction and support sales growth. The training was conducted using a participatory action approach and work-based learning that emphasized active participant involvement and reflection on work experiences. Activities included needs analysis, development of service communication modules, interactive training through role-play, and evaluation with pre- and post-tests and customer surveys. Results showed a 24.7% improvement in participants' communication skills and an increase in customer satisfaction from 78% to 90%. These findings confirm that experience-based training is effective in fostering positive communication behaviors that directly impact customer satisfaction and business performance in the coffee shop sector. Keywords: service communication, customer satisfaction, work-based learning  Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Treat Coffee and Beans, dengan tujuan meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi pelayanan barista untuk memperkuat kepuasan pelanggan dan mendukung peningkatan penjualan. Pelatihan dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan participatory action approach dan work-based learning yang menekankan keterlibatan aktif peserta serta refleksi atas pengalaman kerja. Kegiatan mencakup analisis kebutuhan, penyusunan modul komunikasi layanan, pelatihan interaktif melalui role-play, serta evaluasi dengan pre–posttest dan survei pelanggan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan komunikasi peserta sebesar 24,7%, peningkatan kepuasan pelanggan dari 78% menjadi 90%. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pelatihan berbasis pengalaman efektif dalam membentuk perilaku komunikasi positif yang berdampak langsung terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dan performa bisnis di sektor coffee shop. Kata kunci: komunikasi pelayanan, kepuasan pelanggan, work-based learning

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine and analyze the partial influence between the work environment on the performance of CV. Faldi Advertising employees, to determine and analyze the partial influence between work discipline on the performance of CV. Faldi Advertising employees, to determine and analyze the partial influence between work motivation on the performance of CV. Faldi Advertising employees, to determine and analyze the simultaneous influence between the work environment, work discipline and work motivation on the performance of CV. Faldi Advertising employees. This research is a quantitative research type, where the procedure used in this study is a correlational model.The sample in this study was all permanent employees at CV. Faldi Advertising, totaling 35 people. Simultaneously, the three independent variables significantly influence the performance variable because the significance value is smaller than 0.05. The Adjusted R Square value in the table above is 0.819 or 81.9%. This condition explains that 81.9% of the work environment, work discipline, and work motivation variables have a significant effect on the performance of CV. Faldi Advertising employees. The remaining 18.1% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. This means that of the many factors supporting the performance of CV. Faldi Advertising employees, the work environment, work discipline, and work motivation factors have the most influence on performance, namely 81.9%. Keywords: The Influence of Work Environment, Work Discipline, Work Motivation, Employee Performance.

Abstract

Abstract: The research uses qualitative and quantitative analysis approaches. The focus of the research is to develop a decision support system (DSS) that uses six main criteria: academic service quality, administrative service quality, availability of facilities and infrastructure, time management efficiency, student satisfaction, and waste reduction. Data were collected through observation, interviews and questionnaires distributed to 67 private universities in the LLDIKTI Region I North Sumatra as research samples. The collected data were processed according to the steps of the AHP-TOPSIS model. The results of this study are Academic services in first place with a weight of 0.78, Administrative services in second place with a weight of 0.72, Library & IT in third place with a weight of 0.65, Campus facilities in fourth place with a weight of 0.58, and Financial & payment services in fifth place with a weight of 0.49.Keywords: Lean Servive; Measurement; Management; Academic; Service Quality
