Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of work discipline on employee performance at PT. Indah Lestari Medan Brand. This type of research uses a quantitative approach. The data collection technique in this research uses descriptive observations. The instrument used was a questionnaire. With a population of 100 and a sample size of 20. The data analysis technique used is simple regression using SPSS statistical tools. The results of the research found that there is an influence between work discipline on the performance of PT employees. Indah Lestari Medan Brand.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify and analyze the influence of service quality and location on customer satisfaction. This type of research uses a quantitative approach, because the data to be processed is ratio data and to determine the magnitude of the influence between the variables studied with a sample of 170 people. Where the samples taken have been using products from the Mona Fashion store and this research uses a statistical tool, namely SPSS. The analysis technique used in the research is the validity test, reliability test and normality test. The results of the research can be concluded that service quality partially has a positive effect on satisfaction. customers. This is proven by the t-calculated value being greater than the t-table, namely 2,134 > 0.1506. With a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, location partially has a positive effect on customer satisfaction. This is proven by the t-calculated value greater than in the t-table, namely 0.503 > 0.1506. With a significant level of 0.000 < 0.05, simultaneously service quality and location influence customer satisfaction at mona fashion store and there is no indication of multicollinearity in this model so the analysis results are considered valid.

Abstract

The problem of this research is how the implementation of the management control system in TOSERBA MMTC and what strategies are carried out to improve competitiveness in TOSERBA MMTC. The purpose of this study is to determine how the implementation of the management control system in TOSERBA MMTC and to determine what strategies are carried out to improve competitiveness in TOSERBA MMTC. This research method uses a qualitative approach. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study TOSERBA MMTC has implemented a structured management control system at three levels: strategic, operational, and financial. Strategic involves quarterly planning based on historical data; operational combines computerized information systems and a collaborative work culture; while finance applies tiered authorization and bottom-up budgeting, which has successfully reduced budget deviations by 22%. To improve competitiveness, MMTC carries a hyperlocal strategy by selling 45% local products, digital transformation such as WhatsApp Business and dynamic discount systems, and marketing through local social media and digital loyalty programs, which have proven effective in increasing sales and customer retention.

Abstract

Business activities that are now widely carried out by business actors are not free from competition. This competition sometimes leads to violations of the law in order to achieve maximum profit. They even carry out unfair competition/unfair competition. This unfair business competition will harm the public interest. This competition is now also widespread in business activities in Indonesia and other countries in general. Although before the issuance of Law no. 5 of 1999, the regulation regarding unfair business competition was actually based on Article 1365 of the Civil Code concerning unlawful acts and Article 382 bis of the Criminal Code. There is so much competition between companies producing similar products that it requires business law that can regulate it all so that it runs perfectly without anyone feeling disadvantaged.

Abstract

The problem in this study is how the business law policy regulates guarantees in online transactions and how effective its implementation is in providing legal certainty for business actors. This study aims to analyze business law regulations that regulate guarantees in online transactions and examine the obstacles and solutions to their implementation in the digital era. The research method used is the normative legal method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through literature studies, documentation of regulations, and analysis of relevant cases. Data analysis techniques are carried out descriptively analytically against applicable legal norms. The results of the study indicate that business law policies in Indonesia are not yet fully adaptive to the dynamics of online transactions, especially in terms of proof of guarantees, validity of digital documents, and settlement mechanisms.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the rapid development of e-commerce transactions in Indonesia which has given rise to various legal problems, such as unclear consumer protection, personal data security, and the validity of digital agreements. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of business law in providing legal certainty and protection for parties involved in e-commerce transactions. This study uses a normative legal approach with a library research method, which utilizes primary and secondary legal sources. The data analysis technique used is qualitative analysis, by examining relevant laws and regulations and related court decisions. The results of the study show that business law has an important role in creating legal certainty, providing legal protection for consumers and business actors, and regulating digital dispute resolution mechanisms.

Abstract

Business law plays a crucial role in providing protection and support for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), the backbone of Medan's economy. This qualitative research examines the role of business law in fostering MSME innovation in Medan, addressing a gap in previous research regarding the direct relationship between legal regulations and the innovation process. A literature review found that business law, specifically business legality and the existence and protection of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), significantly enhances MSME innovation and competitiveness. Despite constraints such as limited capital and infrastructure, business law has been shown to have a positive impact and support MSME creativity. Therefore, the research recommends strengthening competition oversight, facilitating access to financing and licensing, and improving infrastructure and entrepreneurship training to optimize the role of business law in the MSME innovation ecosystem.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implications of business law on consumer protection in e-commerce transactions in Indonesia. The results of the study indicate that business law plays an important role in protecting consumers in e-commerce transactions. However, the effectiveness of existing laws and regulations is still questionable because there are still many cases of fraud and unfair business practices. Therefore, this study suggests the need for improvements to laws and regulations, increased consumer awareness, effective supervision, and cooperation between the government and business actors to improve consumer protection in e-commerce transactions in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of management control systems in improving company performance at PT. Melu Bangun Wiweka (MBW), a private construction company facing tight competition in the construction services industry. The study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, where data is obtained through interviews with the company. The results of the study indicate that PT. MBW has implemented a fairly good management control system through the stages of strategic planning, budgeting, activity implementation, and performance evaluation. This system has been proven to play an important role in directing organizational activities and improving employee performance through the provision of rewards and sanctions based on standard operating procedures. This study concludes that a structured and communicative management control system can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the company in achieving its goals. It is recommended that the company continue to improve employee understanding of the company's vision and strengthen the evaluation system to face competitive challenges in the future

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the regulations governing consumer supervision of beauty products in business law and to determine the implementation of legal entity supervision of consumers of a product in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative research approach method using data analysis techniques, namely the theory of Miles, Hubersman and Sandana. The results of this study are the regulations and laws that form the basis for legal supervision of consumers of beauty products written in the business law where the implementation of legal entity supervision of consumers in the use of beauty products in Indonesia still faces various challenges, both in terms of regulation, law enforcement, and public awareness, especially in dealing with the rampant circulation of illegal products and misleading advertisements, especially on digital platforms. Weak supervision in the field and low public literacy are also factors that worsen the situation. Therefore, this study suggests the need for improvements by the government in enforcing legal regulations and awareness from business actors and consumers to create more effective supervision.
