Abstract

The global spread of industries towards the era of Industry 4.0, encompassing the integration of cyber technology and automation. Safety Management Systems (SMS) are employed at each airport differently due to their distinct characteristics. Airport security and order disruption are security issues. Cases such as apron breaches, trespassing, and negligence occur. Aviation accidents pose security issues stemming from SMS implementation, operational oversight, aircraft certification, and flight health factors. There are 8 accident categories and 22 serious incidents resulting in 5 fatalities.This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. To attain answers, the researcher designed a qualitative research design. Qualitative research aims to investigate, discover, describe, and explain the quality of social influences. Data analysis is conducted through data collection, reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. Validity is ensured using source triangulation. The research findings reveal that personnel safety culture at Yogyakarta International Airport aligns with SOP. Out of 165 criteria, the achievement rate is 92.7%, indicating a positive relationship between safety culture and safety management system (KP 622/2015). The effectiveness of safety management system implementation at the airport is 72%. Strategies like Avoidance, Reduction, and Segregation are used to mitigate risks. Although risks cannot be entirely avoided or eliminated, adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP) and risk mitigation through facilities and human resources help minimize these risks.

Abstract

Training with the theme of the role of SMEs in improving national economic resilience is one solution to the problems faced by SMEs, namely the lack of understanding regarding the role and contribution of SMEs in increasing national economic resilience. The purpose of this activity is to increase the understanding of SMEs regarding the role of SMEs in increasing national economic resilience. The method of implementing this activity is training for SMEs of Potorono Tourism Village. The partner in this training activity is the Head of Potorono Tourism Village. The evaluation was carried out by giving questionnaires to trainees before and after delivering the material, and the result was that the comprehension ability of the participants increased by 42.5%.

Abstract

Sebagai penyedia jasa lalu lintas udara, operator bandar udara tentu perlu memberikan pelayanan yang maksimal. Unit pelayanan untuk mengelola tugas pengelolaan di bandara salah satunya adalah Apron Movement Control. Apron merupakan bagian dari bandar udara yang berfungsi sebagai tempat parking pesawat. Unit Apron Movement Control dalam melaksanakan ketertiban operasional agar tercapainya kegiatan dengan baik sesuai peraturan yang sudah ditetapkan dibantu oleh petugas magang, sehingga pentingnya pemahaman petugas magang mengenai fungsi marka, peraturan tentang marka, dan jenis-jenis marka dalam penerbangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman petugas magang tentang marka di sisi Bandar Udara Adi Soemarmo Surakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, self appraisal, dan dokumentasi. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah tujuh orang yaitu petugas magang di unit Apron Movement Control di Bandar Udara Adi Soemarmo Surakarta. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa beberapa petugas magang mengenai marka cukup paham dan menguasai terkait penempatan parking stand pesawat udara, tetapi ada beberapa petugas magang yang masih kurang dan bingung dalam pemahaman terkait penempatan parking stand untuk pesawat udara. Hal tersebut karena tidak adanya bantuan visual di dalam ruangan Apron Movement Control. Solusi yang dilakukan yaitu petugas magang melakukan inspeksi langsung ke apron untuk mengetahui letak dan bentuk marka parking stand tersebut.

Abstract

Miscommunication between Aviation Security officers and tenant officers and airline officers at the security check point of Juanda International Airport, Sidoarjo often occurs due to the poor quality of information provided by fellow Aviation Security officers at SCP-1. As a result, officer activities are hampered. This affects staff satisfaction. On this basis, the researcher conducted a study to determine the effect of service quality on staff satisfaction. This study was conducted using a quantitative method where primary data collection was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents. Sampling was carried out using the non-probability sampling method. The collected data were then analyzed using simple linear regression, partial test (T test), and coefficient of determination. The results showed that service quality had a significant effect on staff satisfaction at Juanda International Airport, Sidoarjo. This is evident from the statistical analysis carried out, where the calculated t value (9.087) far exceeded the t table value (1.994), with a significance level of 0.00 which is smaller than 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the Ha hypothesis in this study can be accepted. In addition, the results of the T-test calculation show that the service quality variable has an influence of 54.8% on the level of staff satisfaction.

Abstract

Airport Operation Center (AOC) di Bandar Udara Internasional Soekarno-Hatta memiliki tugas yang melibatkan manajemen alokasi Parking Stand di Apron, pengaturan Boarding Lounge, penanganan pesawat udara, persetujuan Slot Time penerbangan, informasi jadwal penerbangan, analisis situasi tidak normal, dan pelaporan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai efektivitas FARMS dalam pelayanan alokasi parking stand oleh AOC di Bandar Udara Internasional Soekarno-Hatta, termasuk seberapa efektif penggunaannya.Metode Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu unit Airport Operation Center (AOC) PT. Angkasa Pura II Bandar Udara Internasional Soekarno-Hatta. Hasil uji t menunjukan bahwa variabel independent (X) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap variabel dependen (Y) dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 ≤ 0,05, dan hasil uji koefisien korelasi menunjukan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi FARMS (X) terhadap pelayanan alokasi parking stand (Y) terdapat koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,975 yang berarti sangat efektif, dan hasil uji koefisen determinasi (R2) menunjukan bahwa penggunan aplikasi FARMS (X) terhadap pelayanan alokasi parking stand (Y) efektif sebesar 95,1%, menunjukan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi FARMS merupakan peranan penting bagi pelayanan alokasi parking stand unit airport operation center bandar udara internasional soekarno-hatta dan 4,9% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain diluar penelitian ini. Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran (mix method). Penelitian ini dilakukan di Bandar Udara Internasional Adi Soemarmo Surakarta pada bulan Agustus hingga bulan September 2023. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, perhitungan performance efficiency, studi kepustakaan, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data yang digunakan yaitu triangulasi metode dan triangulasi sumber data. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu Penggunaan alat runway sweeper setiap harinya dengan kurun waktu 30 menit hingga 60 menit menyebabkan terjadinya kendala - kendala yang muncul pada alat runway sweeper tersebut saat menangani Foreign Object Debris (FOD), seperti: engine dan radiator runway sweeper yang bekerja kurang maksimal, selang air pada runway sweeper mengalami kebocoran, serta biaya bahan bakar yang harus di hemat atau di minimalisir penggunaannya. Runway Sweeper ini efisien dalam menangani dan membersihkan Foreign Object Debris (FOD) di movement area Bandar Udara Internasional Adi Soemarmo Surakarta. Alat runway sweeper ini dioperasikan setiap hari pada pagi hari selama 30 menit sampai dengan 60 menit, menghasilkan perhitungan performance efficiency untuk mengetahui efisiensi alat runway sweeper tersebut dengan nilai rata – rata 96,704%. Alat runway sweeper dikatakan efisiensi karena acuan dari perusahaan Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance kondisi ideal performance efficiency adalah lebih dari 95% (>95%). Abstract

This paper investigates the handling of dangerous goods on flights that often occur. Security problems at the airport can be seen from the many incidents that disrupt flight activities to and from the airport. Each airline has its own standard operating procedure (SOP). In this study, the differences in SOPs between two airlines - namely Citilink Indonesia and Lion Air - at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport will be studied, especially in terms of handling dangerous goods. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, because the description of the data is expressed in the form of words. The data collected will be reduced and presented, then conclusions will be drawn from the presentation of the data. The results show that handling dangerous goods certainly has a very high risk, therefore airport officers need to carry out their duties according to SOP. Each officer must be supervised in working, where training in the involvement of handling dangerous goods on aircraft is the main requirement beforehand.

Abstract

This study examined the delay in the passage of the Asset Forfeiture Bill in Indonesia, despite President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) strong support. This study identifies several key factors influencing the legislative process, including internal political resistance in parliament, government priorities for economic development, and inconsistent policies. This study used qualitative approaches and thematic analysis to examine the legislative process's complex political, economic, and institutional contexts. The findings showed that the dynamics of political coalitions, the government's focus on infrastructure and foreign investment, governance challenges in ratifying the draft law included in the Prolegnas, and the COVID-19 pandemic are the main inhibiting factors. The study also emphasized the need to align national policies and laws with international legal standards, such as the 2003 United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC), to accelerate legal reform in the fight against corruption in Indonesia. This research provides important insights for policymakers and the public regarding legislative efforts during President Joko Widodo's administration to eradicate corruption through the legal framework of asset confiscation.

Abstract

Aircraft movement is divided into 2 parts, namely land side and air side movements. Activities in the airside area of Juanda International Airport Surabaya have quite dense traffic both in the morning, afternoon, or evening. Aircraft operational activities on land, especially during the taxiing phase, are one of the factors that contribute to the course of flights that require significant fuel. This study aims to analyze the effect of fuel consumption on the variable taxi time of aircraft at Juanda International Airport Surabaya. The main focus of this study is to identify the extent to which the taxiing process affects the amount of fuel consumed by the A320 aircraft before taking off. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with observation methods and secondary data collection on 79 aircraft of various types, namely Airbus A320, Boeing 737-900 (B739), Airbus A330-900 (A339), and Airbus A320neo (A20N) operating at Juanda International Airport Surabaya. The data collected includes taxiing duration and estimated fuel consumption during the process. The analysis was conducted to determine the correlation between taxiing duration and the amount of fuel used, as well as to identify other factors that affect the efficiency of movement on the taxiway. The results of this analysis indicate that there is a positive relationship between taxiing time and fuel consumption, where the longer the aircraft performs the taxiing process in the taxiway area, the greater the fuel consumed. These results indicate the importance of optimizing aircraft movement management on the ground, both in terms of taxiway lane arrangements and aircraft departure and arrival scheduling, in order to reduce excessive fuel use.
