This study aims to analyze the effect of education level and provincial minimum wage (UMP) on employment opportunities in Indonesia. The research employs a quantitative approach using panel data from 34 provinces, sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics and the Ministry of Manpower for the period 2019–2024. In this study, employment opportunities are treated as the dependent variable, while education level and UMP serve as the independent variables. Data analysis is conducted using a panel data regression model, with the Fixed Effect Model selected as the best fit. The results show that education level has a significant positive effect on employment opportunities, while the UMP does not have a statistically significant partial effect. These findings suggest that improving education can be an effective strategy to promote job creation. Conversely, adjustments to the minimum wage do not automatically influence the level of employment opportunities Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak tingkat pendidikan dan upah minimum provinsi terhadap peluang kerja di Indonesia.
