Abstract

This paper presents the utilization of knowledge management system for information and knowledge model development of enterprise projects. This information and knowledge management model is based on ontology semantic data model. The ontology data model is new technique for representing information and knowledge base on more semantically conception of meanings of objects, their properties, and relations between them that may arise within certain domain knowledge. The concern of the knowledge management model is to ensure that the model allows the process of creation, access, and utilization of data in a semantically manner (for querying process) and information or knowledge of enterprise projects. The experimentation shows that project ontology model has satisfied all consistent, valid, complete, and correct ontology model criteria and can be used for semantic reasoning computation. A prototype of the proposed model can access information and knowledge from the knowledge ontology model.   Kata Kunci: knowledge management system, semantic data model, ontology model, semantiq query, enterprise projects

Abstract

The normal alveolar bone crest located at a distance of 1 to 2 mm from CEJ towards the apical. If there is a bone loss, the alveolar bone crest located at 2 mm more to the apical from CEJ. The alveolar bone loss is one characteristic of aggressive periodontitis and the onset of the disease at the age of puberty. The purpose of this research was to know and to assess the height of alveolar bone crest using Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) in patients with aggressive periodontitis. The type of this research was descriptive. A total of 317 sample CBCT imagery from 6 aggressive periodontitis patients. The result of this research showed that average height of alveolar bone crest second premolar distal, the first molar mesial, first molar distal and second molar mesial on the first region were 3 mm, 4.2 mm, 6.1 mm, and 4.8 mm respectively. On the second region were 3.2 mm, 3.6 mm, 3.6 mm, and 3.4 mm respectively, and in the third region were 2.4 mm, 2.8 mm, 2.5 mm dan 1.4 mm consecutively. While in the fourth region were 2.9 mm, 3 mm, 2.8 mm, and 2.3 mm respectively. The average height of alveolar bone crest of aggressive periodontitis was 3.8 mm. Slicing CBCT imagery on coronal view for the anterior region and sagittal view for the posterior region, showed the characteristic of height alveolar bone crest was arch-shaped which showed the different height of alveolar bone crest of the second premolar distal until second molar mesial.

Abstract

Introduction: Growth and development is a dynamic process that is influenced by many factors, this is why children of the same age do not have the same growth rate, therefore growth can not  be evaluated only by chronological age, but also by maturation skeletal and dental. Previous research has shown a strong relationship between mandibular length and Cervical Vertebral Maturation (CVM). The aim of the present study was to determine the correlation between mandibular length and mandibular third molar maturation using panoramic radiograph. Methods: This research is an observational analytic cross sectional study. Total 412 panoramic radiographs of 207 male and 205 female aged 9-25 years were evaluated. The mandibular length measured from the point of condylion (Co) to menton (Me). M3 maturation of the mandible was evaluated by Demirjian methods. Results: Spearman non-parametric correlation was used for analysis. A strong correlation was found between mandibular length and third molar development (in males: r=0.705 on the right side and are=0.729 on the left side; in females: are=0.755 on the right side and are=0.707 on the left side) Conclusion: There is a strong correlation between mandibular length and mandibular third molar maturation in both male and female.

Abstract

Objective: To know the correlation of the expression of transforming growth factor beta (TGF-β1) and tropoelastin in uterine prolapse. Method: A cross-sectional study of 30 subjects suffered from uterine prolapse in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Dr. Mohammad Hoesin hospital Palembang. The study was conducted since December 1st, 2014 until July 31st, 2015. The sample was from the sacrouterine ligament and immunohistochemical examination was conducted to see the expression of TGF-β1 and tropoelastin. Result: Of the 30 subjects obtained, the expression of TGF-β1 was on 30 subjects consisting of 18 (60%) for weak expression and 12 (40%) for strong expression. Meanwhile, the strong tropoelastin expression was on 18 subjects (60%) and weak tropoelastin expression on 12 subjects (40%). There was a positive correlation between TGF-β1 and tropoelastin expression with moderate correlation (p=0.014; r=0.44). Conclusion: There is a positive correlation between the TGF-β1 and tropoelastin expression of sacrouterine ligament in uterine prolapse with moderate correlation.
