Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the driving force of the economy which is expected to improve people's welfare. Community creativity and the ability to utilize existing natural resources to guide ideas and creations are embodied in various MSME products. There are many MSMEs in Simalungun Regency with various MSME products. The purpose of this service program is to provide training and mentoring for MSMEs in Simalungun Regency through a virtual marketing strategy. This product and packaging innovation training and mentoring activity is expected to provide a good solution for MSMEs in Simalungun Regency Village.

Abstract

Community Service Managing Household Finances aims to improve financial management, especially for mothers in Tigarunggu. Based on an initial survey of 19 respondents, it was found that the level of financial management for mothers in the Tigarunggu Village Office, Simalungun Regency, was still low and had to be improved. As many as 19 household groups have not managed their finances properly. the recording carried out is still very limited, namely only recording income and expenses for housewives. Service method using counseling and qualitative analysis. The results of the service, after the pre-test and post-test were carried out, from 15 extension participants, the results obtained were that all 15 participants had understood managing household finances.

Abstract

Coverage of exclusive breast milk (ASI) in the working area of the Saribudolok health center is still low, as a result of early complementary feeding (MP ASI) under the age of 6 months. Giving solid foods in this period before the baby's digestive system is ready to accept them, then these foods cannot be digested properly and can cause indigestion, gas, and constipation. Early complementary breastfeeding is closely related to the decisions made by a mother. Data on Indonesia's health profile in 2004 shows that exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia is still low, namely 41.7%. This research is an analytic descriptive study with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study were mothers who had babies aged 0-6 months in the working area of the Saribudolok Health Center who were selected by simple random sampling by taking a sample of 30 respondents. The results showed a bivariate analysis of 30 respondents who had babies aged 0-6 months, which influenced mothers in providing complementary food for breastfeeding, namely education and family support, namely p-value 0.000x 0.5, while that did not affect age, occupation, socio-economic. So that everyone around the mother can provide support to the mother to improve the mother's perception regarding her milk production.

Activity devotion to public Which held form education the importance of the First 1000 Days of Life in improving health status and child nutrition in the Work Area Kartini Health Center, Pematang Siantar City. Partners in this activity is the Kartini Community Health Center with the target being pregnant women and mothers toddlers who come to Posyandu in the Work Area of the Kartini Health Center in City Siantar District. Problems nutrition And health especially on toddler can prevented through activity education Which given through activity Integrated Healthcare Center. Objective activity dedication is to increase the knowledge of parents of toddlers about 1000 First Day of Life and changes in good nutritional behavior so that it can improve the health and nutritional status of children. Abstract

Knowledge about cervical cancer in Indonesia is still relatively low, only about 246 of women in Indonesia know about cervical cancer, so researchers are interested in examining the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of women of childbearing age about cervical cancer and the behavior of using Acetic Acid Visual Inspection (IVA) in Indonesia. Work Area of ​​the Panombean Panei Health Center in 2017. This research is descriptive in nature which was carried out in the Work Area of ​​the Panombean Panei Health Center in May-July 2017 with a population of 300 people and a sample of 75 people. The results of this study indicate that the majority of high school respondents were 40 people (53.3″o), a minority of junior high school were 16 people (21,390), the majority were farmers, namely 27 people (3,699), a minority of civil servants, namely 10 people (13,390), the majority of knowledge was lacking, namely as many as 62 people (82.7Y40), the minority of good knowledge is 13 people (17.3”6), the majority disagrees is 55 people (73.396), the minority agrees is 20 people (26.7”0), the majority have never used the Acetic Acid Visual Inspection examination ( IVA), namely 60 people (80Y6), the minority had used the Acetic Acid Visual Inspection (IVA) examination, namely 15 people (2096). From the results of the chisguare test it was concluded that knowledge has a relationship with the behavior of utilizing the Acetic Acid Visual Inspection (IVA) examination in the Work Area of ​​the Panombean Panei Health Center in 2017, because the p value < 0.05.

Abstract

Community service activities carried out in the form of education on the importance of the First 1000 Days of Life in improving the health and nutritional status of children in the Working Area of ​​the Kartini Health Center, Pematang Siantar City. The partner in this activity is the Kartini Health Center with the target being pregnant women and mothers with toddlers who come to the Posyandu in the Working Area of ​​the Kartini Health Center in Pematang Siantar City. The choice of location for the activity was because the Kartini Health Center is one of the Health Centers in the city center of Pematang Siantar. Abstract

The knowledge referred to in this study is knowledge before and after counseling about hand washing during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior knowledge of counseling is the things respondents know about hand washing during the COVID-19 pandemic which is assessed based on their ability to answer the questions on the questionnaire correctly before counseling. Based on the results of the pre-test questionnaire with a rating scale if answered Yes-1 and No-0 it is known that the 30 elderly respondents have an average score of knowledge before being given counseling is 2.3667 rounded up to 2.37. This was obtained from the total amount of pre-tevi data divided by 30 respondents. It can be seen that the answers of the elderly are still relatively low because they have not received more information about hand washing during a pandemic (OVID-1D. Based on the post-test questionnaire that has been distributed with a rating scale if the answers are Yes-1 and No-0, it is known that the 30 elderly respondents have an average score of knowledge after being given counseling which is 9.6667 rounded up to 9.67. This was obtained from the total post-test data divided by 30 respondents. It can be seen that Jansia's answers greatly improved after the counseling about hand washing during the COVID-19 pandemic. This increase in value indicates that there is a difference in the average score of knowledge about prior knowledge and knowledge after counseling about hand washing during the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on the SPSS test that has been carried out (P—0.000: &« — 0.05) Ha (alternative hypothesis) is accepted because the p-value is & 0, 005 so that Ho is rejected at the price of the level of significance (aw) - 5Yo so that the alternative hypothesis is accepted. Thus the conclusion in this study was that there were differences in knowledge before and after counseling about hand washing during the COFID12 pandemic at the Pematangsiantar Elderly Social Service.

Abstract

Nutritional status is a measure of success in fulfilling nutrition for pregnant women. Nutrition for pregnant women is the nutrition needed in large quantities to fulfill the nutrition of the mother herself and the development of the fetus she contains. Fulfilling the nutritional needs of pregnant women is closely related to the level of maternal knowledge about nutrition during pregnancy. Meanwhile, the attitude of the mother in fulfilling the needs is what is seen and known by the mother in fulfilling nutritional needs through information. Correlation descriptive research method using primary data through a questionnaire based on the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women. The sampling technique in this study was purvosive sampling, that is, the researcher determined the sample taken because of certain considerations. From the results of this study it was concluded that there was no relationship between knowledge of pregnant women in fulfilling nutritional needs with nutritional status at the Raya Public Health Center, Raya District, Simalungun Regency, this was evidenced by the results of the chi-square test with a p-value = 0.163 and there was a relationship between attitudes of pregnant women in meet nutritional needs with nutritional status at the Panombeian Panei Health Center, Panombeian Panei District, Simalungun Regency in 2016, this is evidenced by the results of the chi-square test with a p-value = 0.004. Pregnant women are expected to have more regular check-ups for their pregnancies with health workers and actively participate in counseling conducted by health workers to obtain information related to nutrition during pregnancy.

Based on the findings of the researchers that there were 5 young women in Nagori Rabuhit, Gunung Maligas District, Simalungun Regency, experiencing vaginal discharge. This research was conducted to find out whether there is a relationship between the knowledge and attitudes of young women towards the prevention of vaginal discharge in Nagori Rabuhit, Gunung Maligas District, Simalungun Regency in 2016. This type of research is descriptive with the population in this study being all young women in Nagori Rabuhit, Gunung Maligas District, Simalungun, namely as many as 108 people who were sampled as many as 85 people using the simple random sampling technique, which is a simple random sampling method. The results of this study the majority have knowledge.
