Abstract

Nazir has a very important role in waqf, for this reason a good communication strategy is needed in socializing productive waqf programs to the community. The purpose of this research is to determine the communication strategy of the Nazir Waqf institution in socializing the waqf program to Muslims. This research uses a qualitative approach. Primary data is obtained from observation, interviews, notes or memos, and other official documents. Meanwhile, secondary data is obtained from scientific literature such as books, journal articles, theses, theses and websites. The results of this research show that the strategy carried out by the Pundi Amal Bhakti Ummat Foundation (PABU) is to identify communication targets, namely family, relatives, public figures, small groups such as the ta'lim assembly, arisan women, and communities. and the Muslim community. The choice of communication media, namely website, Facebook, and Instagram as communication media to socialize the waqf program, namely tabarru cards, and WhatsApp for telemarketing. In this case, for more effective communication, the PABU foundation plays the role of communicator who has jointed the waqf ambassador program, the program is organized by the Indonesian Waqf Board (BWI)

Abstract

Factors such as leadership behavior, employee compensation, and related policies significantly impact employee engagement in achieving organizational performance. Case studies from large and medium-sized companies in Indonesia indicate that achieving shared goals requires balancing performance targets at every individual level. This study analyzes human resource management (HRM) at the Rahmatan Lil Alamin Mosque Welfare Institution, Al-Zaytun Indramayu, and formulates HRM strategies using SWOT analysis.The findings show that HRM at the Rahmatan Lil Alamin Mosque Welfare Institution, Al-Zaytun, is implemented through two main approaches: motivation and soft skill development. The motivational approach aligns with fulfilling employees' physiological needs, while the soft skill approach addresses the need for security, appreciation, love, and self-actualization. The SWOT analysis reveals that the institution's internal strengths include standardized systems and procedures, well-managed human resources, and clear job descriptions for each role. Identified weaknesses are the absence of job analysis as a foundation for HR planning and recurring disciplinary violations. Externally, opportunities include utilizing e-commerce and implementing minimum service standards, while threats arise from individuals or parties who oppose the institution's existence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of management functions, the development of Islamic propagation (dakwah), as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in the management of the Baitussalam Grand Mosque in Purwokerto. The research employs a qualitative approach with structured interviews conducted with mosque administrators, community leaders, and congregants. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the Baitussalam Grand Mosque applies management functions such as planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling. The developed dakwah activities include regular study sessions, religious gatherings for elderly women, Qur'anic Education Parks (TPQ), and special activities during Ramadan. Supporting factors for successful mosque management include regular funding from congregants through donation boxes and benefactors, spacious building infrastructure, adequate facilities, and solid teamwork among administrators. However, challenges include limited government funding, a lack of sufficient mosque courtyard space, and less supportive surrounding environmental conditions.This study highlights the importance of enhancing mosque empowerment to maximize its social benefits within the community.

Abstract

The rise of Islamophobia worldwide is often fueled by ignorance and negative stereotypes about Islam. This situation calls for more effective educational efforts to counter misinformation and restore the image of Islam as a blessing for all, or Rahmatan lil 'Alamin. In response to this challenge, da'wah (Islamic preaching) through literature, especially novels, offers a way for readers to gain new perspectives and understand the complexities of religious life through engaging narratives that do not come across as patronizing. This study aims to identify the da'wah messages in Harlis Kurniawan's novel Bujang and Portuguese General and analyze the most dominant themes within the text. The novel serves as a potential medium for educating people, including non-Muslims, about the true teachings of Islam. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach using content analysis. The data analysis involves categorizing the content, evaluating it through judges' assessments, and calculating the findings using Microsoft Excel and the Slovin formula, followed by interpretation of the results. The result of this study shows that the novel possesses 37.66% message of morality which is very dominant, 32.46% sharia messages, and of 29.88% aqida messages.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the management process of qurbani implementation in Ma’had Al-Zaytun, an educational institution known for its comprehensive approach to character building and spiritual development. The implementation of qurbani at this institution covers several management functions, including planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. The study employs a qualitative approach using a case study method, with data collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with those involved in qurbani management, and analysis of supporting documents. The findings indicate that the qurbani management process in Ma’had Al-Zaytun is well-organized and systematically executed, upholding Islamic legal principles and promoting values of social solidarity. Effective planning, from selecting appropriate sacrificial animals to determining the slaughter time and location, as well as the meat distribution process, is crucial to the program’s success. The involvement of committees, students, and teachers fosters operational efficiency. However, the study highlights challenges such as coordination issues and distribution management. To address these, it recommends improving training, supervision, and management information systems.

Abstract

Cleanliness issues remain a persistent challenge in Islamic boarding school dormitories, particularly regarding poor sanitation, limited cleaning personnel, low student participation, and a general lack of awareness among residents. This study aims to examine the roles of management and human resources (HR) in addressing these issues at Al-Musthafa Dormitory. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the research focuses on individual experiences to gain in-depth insights into the implementation of management and HR roles. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that dormitory management plays a strategic role in improving environmental hygiene through structured planning, organizing, directing, and controlling functions. Furthermore, HR at Al-Musthafa significantly contributes to the effectiveness of cleanliness policies by establishing clear rules and regulations and encouraging active student participation in organized hygiene programs.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of the role of parents on the learning motivation of fifth grade students at Al-Zaytun Private Madrasah Al-Zaytun School, Kita Indramayu. The family has a very important role in educational activities. So this is where the role of parents is needed to create a conducive environment so as to increase the potential, intelligence, and self-confidence of children. The purpose of this research is to find out how the influence of the role of parents on students' learning motivation. This type of research is quantitative research. This research was conducted in Class V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Zaytun Private School, Kita Indramayu, with a total of 16 students consisting of 11 boys and 5 girls as subjects. This research method uses a quantitative approach with prerequisite analysis test techniques and hypothesis proof techniques. The hypothesis testing technique that the authors took in this study was a simple linear regression analysis technique aimed at knowing the form of the relationship (influence) between variable x (role of parents) to variable y (learning motivation). The author uses the SPSS version 22 program in proving the hypothesis. The final analysis in this study is a simple linear regression test. The simple linear regression test value obtained is a significant value of 0.136 > 0.05, so it can be concluded that the parental role variable (X) has no effect on the learning motivation variable (Y) and the t value is 1.583 <t table 2.145, so it can be concluded that the Parental Role variable (X) has no effect on the Learning Motivation variable (Y). Then H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected. Thus, the results of the final analysis in this study read "There is no influence of the role of parents on the learning motivation of fifth grade students of MIS Al-Zaytun Sekolah Kita Indramayu".

Abstract

Abstrak Manusia sebagai makhluk sosial senantiasa memerlukan interaksi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya, yang dalam Islam diatur melalui konsep mu’amalah, termasuk Ijarah (akad jasa berbasis upah) dan Ju’alah (pemberian imbalan atau bonus atas pencapaian tertentu). Islam menekankan prinsip keadilan dalam hubungan kerja, khususnya terkait upah dan bonus, agar tidak ada pihak yang dirugikan dan seluruh bentuk kompensasi diberikan secara proporsional sesuai kontribusi pekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji mekanisme distribusi bonus kinerja pada Unit Barbershop Ma’had Al-Zaytun, menganalisis kesesuaiannya dengan Hukum Ekonomi Syariah, serta menelaah pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, pertama, mekanisme pemberian bonus kinerja pada Unit Barbershop Ma’had Al-Zaytun dilaksanakan melalui akad Ijarah dan Ju’alah, yang membentuk akad murakkabah. Bonus diberikan berdasarkan kinerja individu pekerja setelah menyelesaikan tugas yang telah ditentukan. Kedua, dari perspektif Hukum Ekonomi Syariah, praktik tersebut telah sesuai dengan prinsip keadilan, kerelaan, dan kerja sama, serta terbebas dari unsur gharar (ketidakpastian) dan maysir (perjudian). Ketiga, sistem bonus kinerja tersebut terbukti efektif dalam memotivasi pekerja, meningkatkan loyalitas, serta memberikan dampak positif terhadap produktivitas. Kata Kunci: Bonus Kinerja, Akad Murakkabah, Barbershop Ma’had Al-Zaytun, Hukum Ekonomi Syariah.   Abstract Human beings, as social creatures, always require interaction to fulfill their life needs, which in Islam is regulated through the concept of mu’amalah, including Ijarah (wage-based service contract) and Ju’alah (bonus or reward upon achievement). Islam emphasizes the principle of justice in labor relations, particularly regarding wages and bonuses, so that no party is disadvantaged and all compensation is proportionate to workers’ contributions. This research aims to examine the mechanism of performance bonus distribution at the Barbershop Unit of Ma’had Al-Zaytun, analyze its compliance with Sharia Economic Law, and explore its impact on employee performance. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that, first, the performance bonus mechanism at the Barbershop Unit of Ma’had Al-Zaytun is implemented through Ijarah and Ju’alah contracts, which form a murakkabah contract. Bonuses are granted based on individual workers’ performance after completing predetermined tasks. Second, from the perspective of Sharia Economic Law, this practice complies with the principles of justice, mutual consent, and cooperation, and is free from gharar (uncertainty) and maysir (gambling). Third, the performance bonus system effectively motivates workers, enhances loyalty, and positively impacts productivity. Abstract

Social media is the main source of information. However, it can also serve as a platform for spreading hoaxes that threaten digital literacy in society. Therefore, an effective da'wah strategy is needed to counter hoaxes, especially among students of the Faculty of Da'wah at IAI Al-Zaytun Indonesia. Students play a key role in understanding and spreading the values of truth and increasing digital literacy in society. This study aims to explore what actions are being taken and the da'wah strategies employed by the students of the Faculty of Da'wah, IAI AL-AZIS, Class VIII. The research method is qualitative, using a case study approach. The data collected for this study came from observations and interviews with students of the Faculty of Da'wah, IAI AL-AZIS, Class VIII. The study results indicate that students of the Faculty of Da'wah, IAI AL-AZIS, Class VIII, have a crucial role in tackling the spread of hoaxes on social media. They adopt several strategies, such as verifying information (tabayyun), ignoring dubious news, reporting accounts spreading hoaxes, and engaging in healthy debates to provide clarification. Most students don't pay much attention to hoaxes, but a small portion are actively involved in countering their spread. This highlights that students from the Faculty of Da'wah are both proactive and responsive in ensuring the accuracy of information and reducing the harmful effects of hoaxes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran metode shorof di Sekolah Islam Online dan mengidentifikasi kelebihan dan kekurangan pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah pembimbing dan peserta program pembelajaran shorof di tingkat dasar. Dari hasil penelitian ini proses pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan baik, dengan waktu pembelajaran yang fleksibel dan materi yang dapat diikuti oleh semua kalangan. Namun kegiatan diskusi belum dapat berjalan secara aktif tergantung bagaimana pesertanya karena pembelajaran dalam program ini bersifat mandiri. Sedangkan kelebihan dan kekurangan dari cara ini adalah banyak latihan yang mengasah keterampilan peserta dalam memahami perubahan kata, dalam menghafal wazan peserta tidak diwajibkan menyetorkan hafalannya sehingga peserta masih terbiasa melihat buku dalam mengubah suatu kata untuk mendapatkan makna yang diinginkan.
