Abstract

The perception of humanist literacy is an individual's or society's understanding of concepts that focus on human aspects, such as tolerance, empathy, justice and human rights. Humanist literacy perceptions can help individuals or communities to understand and respond to social and humanitarian issues in a wiser way and encourage them to participate in life. This paper aims to analyze the perceptions of PAI teachers about humanist literacy. This study uses a qualitative approach with field research methods to uncover and collect research data through interview techniques and document studies. Through this research, results were found, namely teachers considered that with humanist literacy they could understand and appreciate cultural diversity, outlooks on life, and have the ability to think critically and reflectively on humanitarian and social issues.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze measures for preventing violence based on the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 82 of 2015 concerning the Prevention and Handling of Acts of Violence in Educational Institutions. In addition, this study examines efforts to build a culture of peace within Islamic educational institutions. The method employed is a literature review with data collected through documentation. The results of the study indicate that educational institutions need to develop an anti-violence attitude, formulate, and publish policies related to violence prevention. Meanwhile, local governments are responsible for establishing prevention task forces, fostering collaboration, and monitoring policy implementation. On the other hand, Islamic educational institutions play a role in creating a peaceful environment, developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for prevention, and providing accessible service information, such as websites, emails, and contact numbers. Islamic educational institutions are also expected to cultivate a culture of peace through acknowledgment of mistakes, tolerance, apologies, cooperation, mutual trust, appreciation for environmental preservation, and accountability for actions taken.

Abstract

Perkembangan agama pada usia lanjut merupakan topik yang menarik untuk diteliti, mengingat peran agama dalam memberikan makna hidup, dukungan emosional, dan menghadapi tantangan akhir kehidupan. Artikel ini mengkaji dinamika perkembangan agama pada individu lanjut usia, termasuk faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya seperti pengalaman hidup, kondisi kesehatan, dukungan sosial, dan nilai budaya. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam terhadap responden lanjut usia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lansia cenderung mengalami peningkatan kedekatan spiritual, refleksi mendalam terhadap nilai-nilai agama, dan peran agama dalam proses penerimaan diri serta menghadapi kematian. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya mendukung kebutuhan spiritual lansia dalam lingkup keluarga, komunitas, dan layanan kesehatan. Artikel ini juga memberikan rekomendasi untuk pengembangan program yang mendukung kesejahteraan spiritual lansia dalam konteks kehidupan modern.
