Abstract

In this study, we wanted to know the urgency of changing student behavior in learning after the Covid-19 pandemic, which has been lived for almost 2 years studying at home or hybrid, and now almost all levels of education have opened face-to-face/offline classes again. There are indications of changes in student behavior when returning to face-to-face learning at school. The purpose of this study was to describe changes in student behavior in face-to-face learning in post-pandemic classes, both in terms of knowledge, attitudes and skills. To answer this, this study used a qualitative descriptive design with interviews conducted with teachers. The result is that there are positive and negative changes in student behavior at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah level. Changes in post-pandemic student behavior must be understood by teachers, parents, and the students themselves so that learning can be carried out better. Technology can indeed facilitate human work, but at least until now technology has not been able to completely replace the teacher's task as face-to-face educators.

Abstract

Low sharia financial literacy will affect the use and utilization of sharia financial services which will lead to market share, especially sharia banking. It is hoped that financial literacy will not only increase public knowledge, but also change people's behavior in managing finances better and being able and intelligent in choosing fake investments. In this case, I as a researcher will discuss the scope of banking at Bank 9 Jambi in Tanjung Jabung Timur, especially in terms of brand, religiosity and services in choosing a product which is the main basis for prospective customers at Islamic banks. However, there are those who use sharia banks only to pay for college administration because the lack of financial literacy in forming sharia finance requires optimizing a correct understanding of sharia finance. The attitude of religiosity which is a benchmark for consumers will make it easier to choose a product at the bank, apart from that, the products at the sharia bank will not be valid if there is a lack of literacy.

Abstract

Abstract

This study examines the role of international trade in driving economic growth and development, particularly in emerging countries. Economic growth has long been considered a central indicator of national progress, though it is also interconnected with issues such as poverty, unemployment, inflation, and income inequality. International trade through exports and imports serves as a key catalyst for expansion by stimulating specialization, generating investible surplus, enabling vent-for-surplus opportunities, and increasing overall productivity. Using an experimental research approach, this study evaluates the impact of trade on domestic production, highlighting that globalization, technological transfer, and economies of scale significantly contribute to growth. Findings show that international trade not only provides access to scarce goods and broader markets but also facilitates knowledge and technology transfer, which enhances efficiency and competitiveness. However, challenges remain in ensuring equitable distribution of trade benefits, preparedness of local industries to absorb new technologies, and the willingness of developed countries to share innovation. Thus, while international trade accelerates growth, its effectiveness depends on domestic policies and the appropriateness of transferred technologies for developing nations’ needs.

Abstract

This research is about BUMDes. BUMDes is a form of implementation of the Village Law, which makes villages the spearhead of development. Utilizing village potential provides benefits and interests for the community to achieve the welfare of local residents. The initial potential is the development of BUMDes (Village-Owned Enterprises) which serve as a driver of the village economy. However, as time goes by, quite a few villages experience failure in running their businesses, this is due to the lack of human resource capacity in managing BUMDes. This Community Service (Abdimas) activity aims to find out BUMDes innovation strategies in utilizing regional economic potential with various types of potential as a form of improving the village economy and being able to contribute to the village's original income. The method used is the community empowerment method using the technique of providing knowledge through lectures, then discussions with Focus Group Discussions (FGD) to find the problems faced by the village. The results obtained from this activity are increased understanding of village finances and the strengths and weaknesses of BUMDes Sidomukti, Dendang District. So that BUMDes can be managed better in the future.

Abstract

The shift converter process uses Copper-promoted iron (HTS) and Copper/Zinc (LTS) catalysts to convert syngas into hydrogen through the water-gas shift reaction. Catalytic performance evaluation was conducted by analyzing parameters such as Approach Temperature Equilibrium (ATE), pressure drop, and CO conversion. The findings indicate that in the HTS unit, CO conversion ranged from 69% to 75%, with a significant decline to 69% in the fifth data set due to reduced catalyst activity. Key contributing factors to this decrease include catalyst deactivation caused by sintering and poisoning. Within the LTS unit, CO conversion reached a peak value of 94.08% following the catalyst replacement in January 2024. This observed pressure drop also significantly affected catalyst efficiency, as increased pressure drop reduced the contact time between reactant gases and the catalyst, decreasing optimal CO conversion efficiency. ATE analysis showed that the reaction did not always reach the expected thermodynamic equilibrium, particularly in the HTS unit, where ATE values exceeding design specifications indicated inefficient reaction performance. Catalyst efficiency in the shift converter is significantly influenced by catalyst lifespan, pressure drop, and various operational factors, thus requiring routine catalyst replacement to maintain optimal reactor performance.

Abstract

This study explores the role of the Activity Management Unit (UPK) in optimizing the Women’s Savings and Loans Program (SPP) to improve community welfare and local economic resilience in Dendang Subdistrict. Rooted in concerns over rural poverty and income inequality, the research investigates how UPK facilitates access to financial resources for women while fostering participation and institutional trust. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and analysis of official documents to capture the contextual dynamics of the program. The findings reveal that UPK plays a multifaceted role as a financial manager, community facilitator, and institutional actor. Women participants reported improved access to capital, increased confidence in managing household and business finances, and strengthened social cohesion within loan groups. The study also identifies operational challenges, including limited digital infrastructure and generational gaps in participation. By drawing on empowerment theory and social organization frameworks, the research demonstrates that UPK’s participatory structure enhances women’s agency and reinforces collective development. The implications of this study offer valuable insights for strengthening grassroots financial initiatives and shaping gender-responsive policies in rural development contexts.
