Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor sosial budaya serta pengembangan masyarakat dalam pendidikan sekolah dasar. Pendidikan di sekolah dasar merupakan jenjang pendidikan formal pertama yang akan menentukan arah pengembangan potensi peserta didik. Pendidikan dilakukan bertujuan bagi kemajuan, perubahan, dan stabilitas sosial dari masyarakat. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan kajian literatur yang merupakan jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan sumber data yang berkaitan dengan suatu topik. Jenis penelitian ini tidak melibatkan pengumpulan data primer, melainkan lebih berfokus pada eksplorasi sumber informasi yang telah ada. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan sosial anak dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, yaitu keluarga, kematangan anak dari berbagai aspek, status sosial ekonomi, dan pendidikan. Selain itu, kebudayaan suatu masyarakat juga akan mempengaruhi proses pembentukan kepribadian seorang individu dalam pendidikan. Hingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini bahwa faktor sosial budaya memiliki peran penting dalam pendidikan di sekolah dasar. Selain itu, pengembangan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pendidikan ialah langkah penting dalam memperbaiki sistem pendidikan dan memastikan kesuksesan siswa.

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that develops thinking and problem solving abilities which have a very important role in students' daily lives. Mathematical objects are abstract so media is needed to explain this. One of the media that can be used is the Multiplication Board (PaPer) media. This research aims to develop and test the effectiveness of this media in improving students' multiplication abilities in class II. The method used is RnD (Research and Development) using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) model. Data collection techniques use observation techniques, test interviews and teacher and student questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out using qualitative data from observations and interviews. And quantitative data based on pretest-posttest results. The product developed was then tested for the suitability of the multiplication board media which was assessed by media experts with a score of 92% and material experts with a score of 93.7%. placing it in the category of very valid or very suitable for use. The increase in students' multiplication skills can be seen from the pretest score of 49% and post-test score of 90.9%. Thus, this multiplication board media is considered relevant and suitable for use in this research. Apart from that, positive responses were obtained from teachers with scores 96% and from students with average scores 97,1% effective in improving students' multiplication abilities

Abstract

This research aims to describe the role of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah as a social change agent through innovation in three main areas: curriculum, teaching methods, and community involvement. This research not only focuses on academic aspects, but also highlights the formation of character, religious values, and the development of relevant practical skills. This holistic approach is expected to make a significant contribution in strengthening the role of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah as an educational institution capable of shaping quality and competitive generations. The research results show that through community service activities at PGMI 6 UINSU, it can be concluded that education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah has a positive impact on shaping students' character and reducing educational inequality. Madrasah, in addition to being a place for formal learning, also plays a role as a center for the formation of moral and social values for its students.
