Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) type cooperative learning model at SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Raya, Kubu Raya Regency. This study uses a quasi-experimental quantitative experimental method. The research subjects were 74 people (37 students in grades VII, C and E). Multiple-choice objective tests in the form of pretest and posttest are used as data collection techniques, and observation guides are used as data collection tools. The hypothesis was tested by paired sample t-test, and Shapiro Wilk's normality test was used in the data analysis method. Empirical evidence shows that the STAD model has been effectively applied in an educational environment. The results of the analysis showed that before and after the test of the normality test of the experimental class. After that, a parametric hypothesis test was carried out, and the results of the paired sample t-test showed a significance level (asymbiotic growth) of the asymptotic sig of 0.000<0.05 for the type of 2-tailed cooperative learning type which represents the 2-tailed asymptotic sig cooperative learning model. The STAD model influences students' learning goals.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of social constructivism approach in shaping student character in the digital era. In the context of the development of information and communication technology, the challenges faced in character education are increasingly complex. Therefore, this study uses the literature review method to analyze related theories, evaluate the impact of the digital era on character formation, and develop a social constructivism model that is suitable for character education in the digital era. The results showed that social constructivism, which emphasizes the role of social interaction, collaboration, and shared learning, has great potential in shaping students' positive character. The social constructivism approach model developed in this study integrates technology as an aid in character learning. Teaching strategies that focus on collaboration, social interaction, and project-based learning encourage students to develop social skills, empathy, and emotional intelligence. Evaluation of the implementation of this model shows improvement in the development of student character. They are able to collaborate better, have a deeper understanding of character values, and can live social interactions positively in the challenging digital age. Recommendations include teacher training in integrating technology in character education, development of appropriate digital learning resources, and parental involvement in supporting character education at home. Support from schools and relevant stakeholders is also considered important in creating an educational environment that supports student character development in the digital era. This research provides an in-depth look at the role of social constructivism and technology in shaping student character in the ever-evolving digital age.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi dan kendala guru dalam menerapkan pembelajaran multikultural tingkat SMP di Kecamatan Sajingan Besar, Kabupaten Sambas, Perbatasan Indonesia-Malaysia. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif. Sumber data terdiri dari guru-guru SMP di Kecamatan Sajingan Besar. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan pedoman observasi, pedoman wawancara, dan kamera. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik interaktif model Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa implementasi pembelajaran multikultural tingkat SMP di Kecamatan Sajingan Besar Perbatasan Indonesia-Malaysia dilakukan dengan penjelasan langsung pemberian contoh budaya sekitar, teknik diskusi kelompok antar etnis, integrasi budaya lokal dalam bahan ajar/media/modul ajar, pemberian penugasan berupa proyek-proyek kelompok, pembelajaran luar kelas berupa kunjungan atau karya wisata, dan kegiatan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5). Kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam menerapkan pembelajaran multikultural berupa kesulitan mendapatkan bahan ajar multikultural sebagai sumber belajar, ketrampilan guru mengelola pembelajaran multikultural yang kurang, dan siswa yang kurang tertarik mengikuti pembelajaran antar budaya. Abstract

The low ability of young children in Indonesian vocabulary requires appropriate learning techniques. Cooperative learning is appropriate learning used to teach vocabulary in early childhood. The purpose of the research was to determine the expert's assessment of the activity elements in the cooperative learning module to improve the vocabulary of Indonesian language in early childhood. The research sample consisted of 15 teachers and lecturers in the field of early childhood education who were selected based on purposive sampling. In this study, the Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM) using five Likert scales was used to collect expert assessment data. Data were analyzed using Triangular Fuzzy Numbers and Defuzzification Process. The results showed that 13 elements of the learning module activities had met expert agreement or had been accepted by experts. In conclusion, this research has succeeded in developing the design of cooperative learning module elements to improve early childhood vocabulary that is systematic and in accordance with the curriculum. The implications of this research can be used as a guide for developing modules and improving learning.

Abstract

This study analyzes the factors that influence the academic success of students in the course of Social Personality Development in the Social Science Education Program at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tanjungpura University. A quantitative descriptive method was used with a sample of 33 students. The data includes class activity grades, assignments, Midterm Exams (UTS), Final Exams (UAS), and final grades. The results show that class activity has the strongest correlation with the final grade (r = 0.72), followed by assignments (r = 0.68), UTS (r = 0.64), and UAS (r = 0.62). The majority of students (91.18%) obtained an A grade. In conclusion, class activity and assignments play a significant role in students' academic success.Academic Achievement
