Abstract

The purpose of this study is to educate parents about how good parenting and the role of parents in the growth and emotional development of children which is very important in influencing children's character and behavior in the future. The research method used is a research method with a qualitative approach using the library research method. This research uses secondary data sources from scientific articles and journals, relevant books. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show that the role of parents in educating and nurturing children is very broad and complex. Through formal and informal education, character building, emotional support, social skills development, discipline application, and active involvement in daily life. It is important for parents to realize that their every action and decision will have a long-term impact on their children. The important role and good parenting in the formation of children's character and behavior include obedience, independence, empathy, and the ability to overcome stress so that when they grow up, children can become good individuals for their surroundings and the wider community, for that parents are expected to improve the quality of parenting in the family

Abstract

BK management is all efforts or methods used by school principals to optimally utilize all components or resources (manpower, funds, facilities and infrastructure) and information systems in the form of a collection of guidance data to provide Guidance and Counseling services in order to achieve goals. In the management of Guidance and Counseling, BK teachers and school BK coordinators have made plans that must be implemented, evaluated, analyzed and followed up which contain BK services to improve student learning discipline. Student learning discipline will create a good atmosphere and student learning process in order to achieve the goals of Guidance and Counseling as well as educational goals. The better the management of Guidance and Counseling in schools, the goals can be achieved optimally. Therefore, there is a need for good cooperation between Guidance and Counseling teachers and all school personnel, especially with the principal in making BK management in schools, not only good cooperation but also skills in carrying out the responsibilities of each teacher.

Abstract

Family harmony is the goal of every marriage and can be achieved through the mutual efforts of the husband and wife to love each other and develop spiritual behavior in their family life. This study aims to analyze the role of spirituality as a moderating variable that can strengthen the relationship between love and family harmony. The research employs quantitative methods, utilizing surveys and statistical analysis to measure the impact of spirituality on the love-harmony dynamic. Results indicate that cultivating feelings of love in married couples significantly enhances family harmony. Furthermore, the integration of spirituality in daily life serves to reinforce this relationship, suggesting that spiritual practices and beliefs play a crucial role in fostering a harmonious family environment. This study concludes that love and spirituality are interlinked elements essential for achieving and maintaining family harmony.

Abstract

Parental violence against children has been a prevalent issue with far-reaching impacts on child development. This study explores the effects of such violence on children’s psychological well-being through a systematic literature review, focusing on physical, psychological, and social dimensions. The research problem addresses the need for a deeper understanding of how parental violence shapes children’s self-esteem, social interactions, and overall mental health. Thematic analysis was employed to categorize findings, revealing significant adverse effects across multiple domains, including increased anxiety, social withdrawal, and reduced self-worth. These findings underscore the critical need for preventive interventions to safeguard children’s psychological welfare. The study concludes with a call for further research and community-based preventive measures to address and mitigate these impacts.
