The purpose of this study is to educate parents about how good parenting and the role of parents in the growth and emotional development of children which is very important in influencing children's character and behavior in the future. The research method used is a research method with a qualitative approach using the library research method. This research uses secondary data sources from scientific articles and journals, relevant books. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show that the role of parents in educating and nurturing children is very broad and complex. Through formal and informal education, character building, emotional support, social skills development, discipline application, and active involvement in daily life. It is important for parents to realize that their every action and decision will have a long-term impact on their children. The important role and good parenting in the formation of children's character and behavior include obedience, independence, empathy, and the ability to overcome stress so that when they grow up, children can become good individuals for their surroundings and the wider community, for that parents are expected to improve the quality of parenting in the family

Hak asuh atas anak disebut hadhanah, yaitu hak untuk mengasuh anak. Menurut Sayyid Sabiq, dalam HKI (Kompilasi Hukum Islam), Hadanah merawat anak yang belum dimumayyiz tanpa diperintah, melakukan sesuatu demi kebahagiaan anak dan melindungi anak dari mara bahaya. Dan itu bisa membahayakan anak. Merawat anak serta mendidiknya lahir dan batin akan membantunya menjadi mandiri dan bertanggung jawab. Penyabab Hadhanah adalah perceraian. Secara hukum awal hadhanah adalah hak ibu, tapi apakah sepenuh nya hak ibu berdasarkan hal-hal yang telah diuraikan di atas, maka penulis tertarik untuk memilih judul tentang Hak Asuh Dalam Perceraian Menurut Perspektif Hukum Islam Dan Hukum Positif. Secara Terminologi, Hadhanah adalah kepedulian dan upaya membesarkan anak yang belum mampu mengurus dirinya sendiri serta melindunginya dari segala sesuatu yang dapat mencelakakan atau mencelakainya. Menurut ulama Syafi’iyah, hadis tersebut bertujuan untuk mengajarkan kepada orang-orang, bahkan para wali, yang tidak mampu menghidupi dirinya sendiri, tentang apa yang baik bagi dirinya dan untuk melindunginya dari apa yang merugikan. Misalnya kita membersihkan badan, mencuci pakaian, meminyaki rambut, dan lain-lain. Hal yang sama berlaku untuk mengayun bayi anda di tempat tidur untuk membantunya tertidur dengan cepat. Dasar hukum hak asuh adalah bahwasannya dari hukum positif bahwasannya jika terjadi pilihan maka pilihlah yang mudah untuk kemasalahatan si anak mau dunia ataupun akhirat, tetapi walaupun sudah ada kuasa hukum bahwa anak ini di asuh oleh ayah atau ibunya, tidak melarang salah satu dari orang tua untuk bertemu anaknya.
