Abstract

A novel educational system has been developed using the Radial Basis Function (RBF) algorithm to address the limitations of traditional classroom environments, which often rely on standardized material and fixed teaching methods. This research assesses recent advancements in interactive intelligent education systems by combining Artificial Intelligence (AI) with interactive teaching methods. A model based on cognitive functions is constructed using the RBF algorithm to personalize instructional approaches and foster a self-directed learning platform. The research methodology involves a comprehensive literature review, developing an Education Intelligent System (EIS) using AI-driven cognitive modelling, and the implementation of the RBF algorithm within a neural network architecture. The system's effectiveness is evaluated through empirical methods, including extensive data analysis and continuous refinement based on student performance feedback. Additionally, a network topology model is designed to enhance the system's adaptability for different roles within the educational framework. The results show significant improvements in instructional effectiveness, learner engagement, and personalized learning experiences. This research demonstrates that AI and interactive technologies can revolutionize conventional educational methods, enhance learner proficiency, and cultivate a more dynamic and engaging learning environment. Future work aims to improve the system's user interface and analyze larger datasets to refine the AI algorithms further.

Abstract

Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer (ChatGPT) is an advanced machine learning model designed to generate and process vast amounts of data, enabling it to provide answers to various questions. This research aims to explore the benefits and drawbacks of using ChatGPT, particularly in the context of language learning, focusing on enhancing high school writing skills. The data for this study was sourced from digital media and academic repositories. ChatGPT plays a significant role in research by assisting in generating ideas for articles; however, it also presents challenges, including concerns about data accuracy, ethical considerations, and potential impacts on students' critical thinking abilities (Fuchs, 2023). Additionally, this study will examine how ChatGPT can be leveraged to enhance student's writing capabilities in an educational setting.

Abstract

Binge Eating Disorder (BED) is an eating disorder characterized by excessive eating without control, which can have an impact on physical and mental health. However, low awareness and negative stigma towards mental health cause many sufferers to be reluctant to seek professional help. This study aims to develop a web-based expert system to diagnose BED early using the Forward Chaining method. This method is used to trace the symptoms experienced by patients to produce initial diagnostic conclusions. The study was conducted at the Bina Karsa Tuntungan Mental Hospital with data collection methods through observation, interviews with expert doctors who know about BED, and literature studies from relevant sources. In addition, the development of the system uses the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method to produce a system that is fast and according to user needs. The results of the study show that this expert system is able to provide an initial diagnosis of BED based on 11 predetermined symptoms and group patients into five levels of severity. This system also functions as an educational medium regarding BED, so that it can increase public awareness of the importance of mental health. With this system, patients can obtain initial information about their condition and consider further consultation with medical personnel. This research is expected to contribute to detecting BED more effectively and reducing the negative stigma towards eating disorders.

Abstract

The coal production and distribution industry faces persistent challenges in data management, operational coordination, and decision-making efficiency. Conventional monitoring methods often result in delayed reporting, low data accuracy, and limited adaptability to dynamic market demands. This study addresses the lack of an intelligent and integrated information system by designing and developing a real-time IoT-based solution for coal production and distribution management. The system was built using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall model and integrates IoT sensors to automatically capture critical parameters such as pressure, temperature, and coal quality indicators. Artificial Intelligence (AI) components were incorporated to enhance data analysis and support predictive decision-making. System evaluation through simulation with dummy data demonstrated notable improvements, including a 40% reduction in reporting response time and a 95% increase in operational data accuracy. The system also enabled faster production monitoring, streamlined distribution processes, and provided decision-makers with reliable real-time insights. User feedback confirmed the system’s effectiveness in improving accessibility, monitoring efficiency, and overall operational performance in coal production and distribution management.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The advent of cutting-edge technologies has prompted the transformation of current educational systems by integrating these advancements into contemporary teaching and learning methodologies. Given the substantial potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to revolutionize these practices, the consideration of its incorporation into the educational domain is inevitable. This research delves into the latest developments in AI within education, examining how secondary school students involved in this research utilize AI and for what specific purposes. Additionally, this study seeks to understand whether these students employ Artificial Intelligence for educational and learning purposes and their opinions on its inclusion in educational frameworks. The collected data provide valuable insights into students' comprehension of AI's role and objectives in education and their perspectives on its application across various scenarios. Furthermore, the study underscores the significance and challenges of integrating Artificial Intelligence into curricula, highlighting the opportunities it presents for crafting educational practices that enhance students' academic knowledge and digital proficiency while emphasizing the ethical and responsible use of such technologies. ABSTRAK Munculnya teknologi mutakhir telah mendorong transformasi sistem pendidikan saat ini dengan mengintegrasikan kemajuan ini ke dalam metodologi pengajaran dan pembelajaran kontemporer. Mengingat potensi besar Kecerdasan Buatan (AI) untuk merevolusi praktik-praktik ini, pertimbangan untuk memasukkannya ke dalam bidang pendidikan tidak dapat dihindari. Penelitian ini menggali perkembangan terkini AI dalam dunia pendidikan, mengkaji bagaimana siswa sekolah menengah yang terlibat dalam studi kasus ini memanfaatkan AI dan untuk tujuan spesifik apa. Selain itu, penelitian ini berupaya memahami apakah para siswa ini menggunakan Kecerdasan Buatan untuk tujuan pendidikan dan pembelajaran serta pendapat mereka tentang penyertaannya dalam kerangka pendidikan. Data yang dikumpulkan memberikan wawasan berharga mengenai pemahaman siswa tentang peran dan tujuan AI dalam pendidikan serta perspektif mereka terhadap penerapannya dalam berbagai skenario. Lebih jauh lagi, penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya dan tantangan dalam mengintegrasikan Kecerdasan Buatan ke dalam kurikulum, menyoroti peluang yang ada untuk menciptakan praktik pendidikan yang meningkatkan pengetahuan akademis dan kemahiran digital siswa sambil menekankan penggunaan teknologi tersebut secara etis dan bertanggung jawab.
