Abstract

Learning media plays an important part in teachings. However, if there is no learning media, the teaching activity will still continue to run but the results will be less than the maximum. The less maximum teaching activity that goes without learning media result from the limits of educationalists' delivery of information. For that reason, learning media is better to use in teaching activity for maximum results. Learning media has a various form and function. Learning media could be anything that can be used to help educationalists in presenting study materials or knowledge. In this study the research talks about the utilization of used items in the manufacture of learning media. in the manufacture of learning media, there is 2 process, The reuse of used items and scrap recycling. The recycling activity in order manufacturing of learning media can be costumized according to the learning's needs. The needs are teacher's ability, student's ability, and also the conformance to the study materials. Learning media that made by used items are made in such a way to meet the requirements to become the worth using learning media.

Abstract

This study aims to develop students' creativity through a project of making traditional house miniatures from ice cream sticks as part of the Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile (P5) project in grade VI at SDN 97/IV, Jambi City. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach, involving observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that project-based learning is effective in enhancing students' creativity, measured through indicators such as curiosity, self-confidence, perseverance, and imagination. This project also supports the achievement of the Pancasila Student Profile elements, namely creativity, mutual cooperation, and global diversity. Students actively engage in designing and completing the traditional house miniatures by creatively overcoming resource limitations, while drawing inspiration from Indonesia's cultural diversity. Thus, this project not only enhances creative thinking skills but also strengthens students' character in line with the goals of 21st-century education.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan keaktifan belajar peserta didik kelas VI SDN 97/IV Kota Jambi dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media SmartBox. Penelitian menerapkan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen, dengan indikator keaktifan mencakup partisipasi peserta didik dalam tugas, diskusi, serta penyelesaian masalah. Penelitian menunjukan hasil bahwa implementasi PBL berbantuan SmartBox efektif dalam meningkatkan keaktifan belajar. Pada pra-siklus, keaktifan peserta didik hanya mencapai 32%, sedangkan pada siklus kedua pertemuan kedua meningkat menjadi 84%. Kombinasi PBL dan SmartBox menciptakan pembelajaran interaktif dan efektif yang mendorong peserta didik lebih aktif, kreatif, dan terlibat dalam proses belajar. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa PBL berbantuan SmartBox merupakan pendekatan yang relevan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar peserta didik, khususnya pada mata pelajaran IPAS.
