Abstract

In machine manufacturing projects, fabrication planning is an important aspect because it is the basis for fabrication activities in optimizing time. Even though planning has been carried out, delays in project completion still occur in the field. This also happened at PT Intan Prima Kalorindo. This condition is not good cause delays in project completion have several negative impacts, including; wastage of time, additional costs, physical and psychological pressure on human resources, as well as continuity of trust in the company. this research aims to create a fabrication schedule for the TEWAC procurement project using the precedence diagram method which will be presented in a gantt chart with the Microsoft project application. This research will also present a list of required material components (bill of materials), determine the sequence of operational processes followed (Operation Process Chart) as a reference in mapping relationships between work and determining activities using the Precedence Diagram Method. TEWAC's fabrication schedule after calculation analysis using the Precedence Diagram Method resulted in a shorter implementation duration than the Company's schedule. There are 19 activities that are classified as critical paths (shown in red on the Gantt chart) that need attention. This is because the critical path can cause delays in the duration of project completion. The existence of critical activities itself can be used as a reference for prioritizing work and allocating existing resources in order to minimize the level of project delays

Abstract

Modeling real systems into a model is done through simulation, which is a method to replicate existing real systems with characteristics that are easier to observe than the original system. Kedai Kopi XYZ is one of the famous coffee brands in Indonesia. The location of the research carried out was at the XYZ Coffee Shop, Sidewalk branch, Jimbaran. The reason this place was used as a research location was because there were queues in the service system. The data that has been obtained from the field is then processed using Stat::Fit and ProModel. When the system with the existing data is run simulation, there are still blocks in the Entity States and there are full or bottlenecks in the Multiple Capacity Location States. Providing suggestions for improvements to minimize blocks and overflows in the system. The improvement proposed by observers is to improve capacity at locations in the system. By changing the existing capacity, minimal blocks and fulls will be produced and can be said to be reasonable in the system. Thus, it can be concluded that the model system at the XYZ Coffee Shop, Sidewalk branch, Jimbaran can work optimally.

Abstract

Inspection is the activity procedures of an appraiser identical with survey to the location of the object of assessment. Considering efficient KJPP ANA & Rekan Gianyar is important for determining the best route in order to reduce overtime. This research focused in optimizing the inspection case route to the location using Linear Programming (LP) and Nearest Neighbor (NN) for Traveling Salesman Problem cases. In addition, analyzing the comparison of the initial route and the new route with both methods after optimizing travel time to reduce overtime. This research combined set theory and distribution & transportation concepts in the optimization. The data in this research used primary data including initial route along with the coordinates and secondary includes company profiles, LP and NN algorithms collected through interviews, documentation and literature study. The collected data were processed with Microsoft Excel and Google Colaboratory software. The results found that the LP method minimized travel time savings by an average of 12%, while the NN method is 8%. The LP method minimized the average overtime and costs by 16 minutes (Rp. 13,000, -) while the NN method is 11 minutes (Rp. 9,000, -). Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sistem manajemen pengadaan logistik pada departemen logistik PT XYZ dengan menggunakan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan dan peningkatan sistem manajemen pengadaan logistik, sehingga proses pengadaan logistik menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien, serta mampu mendukung kelancaran layanan purna jual kereta api di PT XYZ. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pendekatan deskriptif dipilih untuk menggambarkan dan menganalisis sistem manajemen pengadaan logistik di PT XYZ secara mendalam. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, koesioner, wawancara, dan studi literatur. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan adalah analisis FMEA yang dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi kegagalan dalam sistem manajemen pengadaan logistik di PT XYZ. Risiko dengan kategori tinggi penyebab permasalahan yang terjadi pada proses pengadaan dengan nilai RPN lebih besar dari nilai kritis yaitu sebesar 269.12, terjadi pada keterlambatan pembayaran. Permasalahan dengan kategori risiko tingggi memiliki penyebab kegagalan yang perlu diprioritaskan. Dimana keterlambatan pembayaran akan berdampak pada hilangnya kepercayaan vendor dan vendor tidak bisa memberikan penawaran pengadaan selanjutnya yang berakibat terhambatnya proses bisnis perusahaan. Solusi yang dapat diberikan adalah melakukan pengendalian proses transaksi ke vendor.

Abstract

PT SGMW Motor Indonesia adalah salah satu perusahaan dalam industri kendaraan bermotor roda empat di Indonesia. Perusahaan ini meluncurkan Wuling Almaz untuk mengisi segmen sport utility vehicle (SUV). Ditemukan keluhan pelanggan terhadap kualitas mobil yang berasal dari ulasan pelanggan. Perusahaan memerlukan strategi peningkatan kualitas produk Wuling Almaz untuk meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merumuskan strategi pengembangan produk untuk meningkatkan kualitas mobil Wuling Almaz. Strategi peningkatan kualitas produk dirumuskan berdasarkan integrasi antara importance-performance analysis (IPA) dengan metode quality function deployment (QFD). Atribut dalam prioritas utama perbaikan digunakan sebagai masukan untuk kebutuhan pelanggan dalam QFD. Terdapat 6 atribut yang menjadi prioritas utama perbaikan, yaitu konsumsi bahan bakar, kondisi mesin, intensitas lampu utama, masa pakai mesin, stok suku cadang, dan harga suku cadang. Strategi perbaikan kualitas produk dihasilkan dari matriks house of quality (HOQ). Urutan prioritas rekomendasi strategi meningkatkan kualitas produk pada mobil Wuling Almaz adalah pemasangan volt stabilizer dan ground cable system, penambahan mekanik terlatih, peningkatan kualitas part yang rentan rusak, peningkatan volume produksi suku cadang, menambah bengkel resmi, dan meningkatkan kapasitas mesin.

Abstract

KRM ice cream shop is a popular destination in Sanur, Bali. The intensity of customer visits on regular days is already quite crowded, even more so during the holiday season. Due to the location of Gerai KRM which is adjacent to the road sidewalk, it often causes congestion in the area. The long and less conducive queuing system is the main reason customers discourage coming. This research was conducted during peak hour, namely 11:00 to 13:00 which is lunch time. These data are then tested using the Stat::Fit feature to determine the type of data distribution. This type of data distribution will later be used to determine the length of the system process when tested in ProModel software, more precisely it will be included in the processing sequences section. The research results show that there is an entity of customers in waiting of 6.13% and blocked by 10.10% which is caused by a lack of capacity and service units in the system. Based on the problem, the proposed improvements given by the author are the addition of cashier units and also the queue capacity at the Ice Cream storefront service. The output of the proposed system simulation is a decrease in the percentage of blocked 1.32%. Then the percentage of full in the queue row which became 0% and the percentage of full in the ice cream storefront was reduced to 1.71%.

Abstract

Manpower planning is one of the keys to the success of a company in facing competition in business. One way to plan the company's workforce needs is to find out the workload currently being experienced by officers. The full-time equivalent (FTE) method is a method used to calculate the overall workload that can be used to perform workforce planning. The IT Safety & Security Division (SSIT) is currently experiencing high task completion time problems in the job description of checking all camera functions and preventive maintenance cameras. One of the causes of high task completion time is that the number of assets is too much compared to the number of workers. From the calculation using the full-time equivalent method, it is known that the FTE value for checking and preventive maintenance is 1.96 (Overload) if based on the calculation of shift assumptions / week and the FTE value for checking and preventive maintenance is 3.02 (Overload) if based on the calculation of the assumption of the needs of alternative solution officers with the addition of 8 shifts/week or 7 officer additions.

Abstract

Efektivitas layanan bengkel tidak dapat dipisahkan dari tata letaknya. Tata letak bengkel yang tertata rapi memainkan peran penting dalam mengoptimalkan produktivitas operasional dan memastikan layanan yang efisien. Salah satu bengkel yang ada di Bali adalah Autocare Body Repair, bengkel ini menyediakan jasa perbaikan dan pemeliharaan pada kendaraan roda empat. Selama 7 tahun terakhir, perusahaan tersebut terus-menerus menghadapi tantangan dalam memenuhi tenggat waktu servis karena tidak adanya tata letak bengkel yang terstruktur. Hal ini menyebabkan, tingginya gerakan dan perpindahan yang tidak diperlukan, tenggat waktu untuk menyelesaikan layanan servis lebih panjang, dan kesulitan pelanggan dalam memarkirkan mobil. Penelitian ini berfokus pada penerapan metode Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) untuk meningkatkan produktivitas bengkel melalui perancangan desain tata letak fasilitas yang optimal. Tata letak alternatif yang dihasilkan akan menyesuaikan alur perpindahan sesuai dengan alur produksi dan meminimalkan jarak perpindahan, cross-movement, dan back-tracking. Penelitian ini menghasilkan 3 alternatif tata letak bengkel, alternatif 1 memiliki jarak perpindahan yang paling pendek yakni total jarak pada layanan service getok – bongkar pasang 77,66 m pada skema 1 dan 77,82 m pada skema 2. Sementara itu pada layanan service dempul – bongkar pasang 71,05 m pada skema 1 dan 71,21 m pada skema 2.
