Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan kemampuan mahasiswa calon guru matematika dalam mengubah soal cerita ke dalam bentuk model matematika ditinjau dari tipe kepribadian Hipporcrates. Kemampuan representasi matematika diukur dari empat indikator yaitu representasi gambar, representasi visual, representasi kata dan representasi ekspresi matematik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan tiga instumen yaitu instrument angket untuk mengetahui tipe kepribadian subjek penelitian, instumen tes kemampuan mengubah soal cerita kedalam bentuk model matematika materi geometri bidang dan ruang dan instrument wawancara sebagai penguatan hasil instrument tes agar data yang diperoleh semakin valid. Data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan aplikasi Nvivo 12 Plu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keempat tipe kepribadian hipporcrates yang paling baik dalam mengubah soal cerita kedalam bentuk matematika yaitu tipe kepribadian melankolis karena dapat mengubah wacana menjadi bentuk ilustrasi, dapat menggambarkan dan menemukan segitiga kongruen dan sebangun, dapat menuliskan dan menjelaskan langkah-langkah penyelesaian suatu masalah, dan menyelesaikan permasalahan menggunakan ekspresi matematika. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa subjek memiliki pengetahuan matematika yang utuh, baik secara konseptual maupun procedural.

Abstract

Classroom action research ditujukan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar trigonometri pada peserta didik kelas XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 3 Parepare melalui metode De Bono. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus tiga kali pertemuan, setiap akhir siklus dilakukan satu kali tes hasil belajar. Aktivitas peserta didik dan kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran dilakukan selama proses melalui lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa, hasil belajar pada materi trigonometri mengalami peningkatan melalui metode De Bono pada peserta didik kelas XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 3 Parepare. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari meningkatnya skor rata-rata hasil belajar trigonometri, tercapainya ketuntasan belajar klasikal, meningkatnya persentase rata-rata aktivitas peserta didik yang sesuai dengan pembelajaran dari siklus I ke siklus II.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran dan persepktif mahasiswa terhadap pelaksanaan kuliah daring pada pembelajaran kalkulus di Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika UNIMEN. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik dokumentasi dan wawancara dengan menggunakan metode triangulasi waktu untuk menguji keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perspektif mahasiswa teerhadap kuliah daring dalam pembelajaran kalkulus di Prodi Pendidikan Matematika UNIMEN tergolong negatif berdasarkan hasil koding menggunakan Nvivo 12 Plus dengan persentase tertinggi sebesar 22.52%.

Abstract

The importance of the ability of representation as a standard process of learning mathematics because it can help students understand and develop every concept in learning mathematics. The representation of each element of intelligence which dominates a lot is visual-spatial intelligence because it is an object that can be seen visually. However, it is known from previous researchers that the ability of students' mathematical representations is still relatively low. This is due to the habit of students receiving direct learning and passive activities. This research is a qualitative research that aims to describe the representation abilities of students with visual-spatial intelligence who are currently solving geometric problems. The subjects of this study were class XII MIPA students at SMAN 9 Enrekang. Data were collected using a visual-spatial intelligence test instrument, a mathematical representation ability test instrument and interviews on students' mathematical representation abilities. The data that has been obtained is analyzed using the Nvivo 12 Plus application. The results showed that students with visual-spatial intelligence were able to represent problems visually and verbally in solving spatial geometry problems but could not represent them mathematically. This is based on the fact that students are not precise in choosing the mathematical model used in solving geometrical problems so that students experience problems in solving the next problem. Choosing innovative learning methods and getting students used to working on questions that require higher-order thinking skills can support students' mathematical representation abilities.

Abstract

Leptospirosis is a disease caused by Leptospira spp., zoonotic Gram-negative bacteria. This study aimed to determine the handling of a leptospirosis case in a dog at the Pet Vet Clinic, Jakarta. Handling began with anamnesis and continued by examining the patient's physical condition, followed by serological, microscopic, and polymerase chain reaction examinations. An examination revealed that the dog had Leptospirosis. The therapy given was the administration of crystalline procaine and penicillin-G antibiotics. Supportive treatment was given with hepatoprotective, lipotropic, and diuretic supplements. Ringer's lactate was used as fluid therapy. The treatment administered showed positive, progressive results in the patient.

Abstract

This study purposed to find out the strategy of the local government in dealing with early marriage in South Sinjai  District, Sinjai Regency. This study used qualitative research, data sources were primary and secondary, the number of informants was 9 people. Data collection  used  observation, interview and documentation. The results of this study showed that the strategy of the local government in dealing with early marriage in south Sinjai  District Sinjai Regency was classified as optimal and not optimal when discussed from the aspect of (1) socialization, had been running according to the existing theory, but not yet optimal because there were still obstacles and obstacles from some communities; (2) regulations, related to regulations regarding marriages had been implemented well, but not yet optimal due to the government's lack of clarity on people who get married early; (3) sanctions, the application of sanctions against early marriage had proceeded relatively well. Internal factors that influence in this research were on their own volition. While external factors were influenced by several factors such as economics, education, or community traditions.

Abstract

This research includes qualitative research. This study aims to find out how to analyze the types of errors and the factors that cause errors in class IX.1 students of SMP Negeri 2 Mattiro Bulu, Pinrang Regency on the volume of cubes and blocks. This type of error analysis assessment consists of a test sheet and an interview guide sheet. The analysis of the types of errors produced in the study is indicated to be able to meet the indicators of the types of errors. The trial respondents in this study were students of class IX.1 of SMP Negeri 2 Mattiro Bulu, Pinrang Regency, as many as 24 students. Analysis of the types of errors in this study uses 3 (three) types of errors, namely: (1) reading error, (2) transformation error, and (3) encoding error . The factors that cause student errors in solving the volume problems of cubes and blocks are: (1) less thorough in answering questions, (2) forgetting formulas, and (3) making mistakes in operating.

Abstract

This study aims to find out that mathematics learning outcomes can be improved through the Chalk and Talk learning strategy in class VII.2 students of SMP Muhammadiyah Parepare. This type of research is classroom action research whose implementation includes: planning (plaining), implementing actions, observing or observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were students of class VII.2 even semester of SMP Muhammadiyah Parepare in the academic year 2014/2015 with a total of 26 students, consisting of 14 male students and 12 female students. This research was carried out in two cycles, each meeting three times the learning process and one meeting a learning outcome test was conducted. The data collection technique used in this research is data about students' mathematics learning outcomes obtained using the test technique given at the end of each cycle, while data about student activities and teacher activities are taken using observation sheets when the learning process takes place in the classroom. class.Based on the results of research and discussion during two cycles, it can be concluded that the mathematics learning outcomes of students in class VII.2 SMP Muhammadiyah Parepare have increased from cycle I to cycle II after the implementation of the Chalk and Talk learning strategy . It is characterized by: (a) increasing the average mathematics learning outcomes for students in the first cycle is 42.88 % to 83.88 % in the second cycle. (b) increasing the percentage of students ' mathematics learning completeness , which is 26.9 % in cycle I to 92.3 % in cycle II or classically completed . (c) an increase in the average activity of students in participating in learning in cycle II. And (d) the increase in the average ability of teachers in managing learning from cycle I to cycle II.
