Abstract

Education has the responsibility to integrate new values in students caused by advances in technology and science. Appropriate learning methods are needed because the education system evolves with the changing times. One branch of the philosophy of knowledge known as constructivism emphasizes the idea that the knowledge we have is the result of our own construction. The issue addressed in this research is how SMAN 13 Surabaya implements technological developments in its teaching. The aim of this research is to analyze the extent of active student participation in the learning process, particularly through the constructivist approach, and how technology can be optimized to facilitate learning activities. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The results indicate that the utilization of technology in learning at SMAN 13 Surabaya is not yet running optimally, due to constraints such as the lack of teacher skills in using technology, inadequate facilities, and financial constraints.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an online application called AJUKIN (Ajukan Instan) designed to simplify the letter submission process at SMP Negeri 2 Jember. Traditional manual methods for letter submission have proven inefficient, leading to delays and increased workload for administrative staff. The AJUKIN application utilises a Google-based framework that integrates google sites, google forms, google sheets, and autocrat to facilitate quick and efficient submission of letters from students. This research utilises a Research and Development (R&D) methodology using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model, which allows for systematic needs analysis, structured application design, and iterative evaluation based on feedback from users. The app allows students to submit their requests digitally, thus improving the overall efficiency of the service. Testing and evaluation involving students and administrative staff showed that AJUKIN has fulfilled most of the expected functions, providing significant benefits in terms of efficiency and accessibility. However, further development is needed to enhance the application's capabilities and adapt it for wider use in educational environments.

Abstract

AbstrakKetidakberhasilan sekolah dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikannya seringkali dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya kemampuan sekolah dalam menyusun rencana strategis. Selain itu, masih banyak sekolah yang belum memiliki rencana strategis atau hanya sekedar disusun sebagai formalitas saja tanpa dijadikan sebagai pedoman pengembangan sekolah. Artikel ini menganalisis perencanaan strategis di SDIT At-Taqwa Surabaya, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui tahapan-tahapan dalam perencanaan Strategis (Renstra) sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data melalui observasi dan wawancara langsung dengaan kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam Renstra SDIT At-Taqwa Surabaya disusun dalam Rencana Kerja Jangka Menengah (RKJM), dengan tahapan meliputi pembentukan tim, analisis internal dan eksternal dengan pendekatan SWOT, dan penyusunan strategi sekolah. Dalam penyusunannya pun sekolah melibatkan semua stakeholder baik akademik maupun no-akademik. Abstract The failure of schools to achieve their educational goals is often influenced by the school's lack of ability to develop strategic plans. In addition, many schools still do not have a strategic plan or are just prepared as a formality without being used as a guideline for school development. This article analyzes strategic planning at SDIT At-Taqwa Surabaya, to know the stages in preparing the school's Strategic Plan (Renstra). This study used qualitative methods by collecting data through observation and direct interviews with school principals. The results showed that the SDIT At-Taqwa Surabaya Strategic Plan was prepared in the Medium-Term Work Plan (RKJM), with stages including team building, internal and external analysis with a SWOT approach, and school strategy preparation. In its preparation, the school also involves all academic and non-academic stakeholders.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan prinsip akuntabilitas Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah (MBS) dalam mendukung pengelolaan keuangan sekolah dan untuk menemukan masalah yang perlu diatasi agar praktik pengelolaan keuangan sekolah menjadi lebih baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan menggunakan model PRISMA. Dari 25 artikel yang diidentifikasi, 15 artikel memenuhi syarat untuk disintesis dan dianalisis. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep MBS memiliki tiga karakteristik utama: kemandirian, keadilan, dan keterbukaan. Prinsip-prinsip MBS, seperti kemitraan, partisipatif, efisiensi, dan akuntabilitas, memberikan landasan bagi pengelolaan sekolah yang efektif. Implementasi prinsip akuntabilitas dalam pengelolaan keuangan sekolah merupakan hal yang penting, yang melibatkan transparansi, standar kinerja, dan partisipasi. Meskipun penerapan prinsip akuntabilitas memiliki dampak positif pada efektivitas pengelolaan keuangan sekolah, namun masih timbul tantangan yang perlu diatasi, seperti kurangnya pertanggungjawaban yang efektif dan keterlibatan pengawas yang kurang memadai.AbstractThe purpose of this study is to find out how the principle of accountability in School-Based Management (SBM) is used to support school financial management and to find problems that need to be addressed to improve school financial management practices. The research method used was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA model. Of the 25 articles identified, 17 articles were eligible for synthesis and analysis. The results show that the concept of SBM has three main characteristics: independence, equity, and openness. The principles of SBM, such as partnership, participation, efficiency, and accountability, provide the foundation for effective school management. It is important to apply the principle of accountability in school financial management, which involves transparency, performance standards, and participation. Although the application of the accountability principle has a positive impact on the effectiveness of school financial management, there are still challenges that need to be overcome, such as the lack of effective accountability and insufficient involvement of supervisors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi program Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM) di Kabupaten Sidoarjo, dengan menggunakan model evaluasi CIPP (Context, Input, Process, dan Product). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang komprehensif mengenai program ini. Kegiatan pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil evaluasi context menunjukkan respons terhadap perubahan pendidikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas guru dan mengurangi kesenjangan belajar. Sedangkan hasil evaluasi input menekankan perlunya sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas, platform digital yang stabil, dan dukungan finansial yang memadai untuk menunjang keberhasilan PMM. Lalu evaluasi proses menunjukkan bahwa PMM berjalan efektif, meskipun terdapat hambatan seperti kurangnya keterampilan teknologi di kalangan guru. Evaluasi produk mengindikasikan keberhasilan PMM dalam meningkatkan efektivitas akses guru terhadap pembelajaran, serta dampak positif seperti pembukaan akses pendidikan dan penghargaan kepada guru. Secara keseluruhan, PMM memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan akses bagi pelajar. Kesimpulannya, PMM memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Sidoarjo, namun masih diperlukan langkah-langkah lebih lanjut untuk memastikan keberhasilan jangka panjang. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya, diharapkan dapat mengeksplorasi lebih dalam tentang efektivitas PMM dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru dan kualitas pendidikan.   This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM) program in Sidoarjo Regency, using the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, and Product). The research employs a qualitative descriptive method to obtain a comprehensive understanding of this program. Data collection activities were conducted through observations, interviews, and documentation. The context evaluation results indicate a positive response to educational changes aimed at improving teacher quality and reducing learning gaps. The input evaluation emphasizes the need for quality human resources, a stable digital platform, and adequate financial support to ensure the success of PMM. The process evaluation shows that PMM is running effectively, although there are obstacles such as the lack of technological skills among teachers. The product evaluation indicates the success of PMM in enhancing teachers’ access to learning, as well as positive impacts such as increased access to education and recognition for teachers. Overall, PMM significantly contributes to improving educational quality and access for students. In conclusion, PMM plays a crucial role in enhancing education quality in Sidoarjo; however, further steps are needed to ensure long-term success. Future research is expected to explore in greater depth the effectiveness of PMM in enhancing teacher competencies and education quality.
