Abstract

AbstrakThis article focuses on the experience of gender microaggression in students with veiled in Indonesia. Qualitative methods with Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis are used to determine how Students with veiled interpret the understanding of gender microaggression. The findings revealed that they often experienced subtle and inconspicuous discrimination. This fact is known as gender microaggression. The narrative suggests that participants experienced gender microaggression due to their appearance. The perpetrator considered that the participants were religious fanatical and incompetent. Participants also had to face social isolation and were marginalized within their groups. In addition, participants can feel the positive impact of avoiding sexual objectification. In light of these findings, it is recommended that counseling services in higher education institutions take proactive steps to prevent and address gender microaggressions. Additionally, counselors need to have competence in providing inclusive services.Keywords : Gender, Microaggression, Veiled, Preliminary Investigation, Students.          AbstrakArtikel ini berfokus pada pengalaman mikroagresi gender pada pelajar berkerudung di Indonesia. Metode kualitatif dengan Analisis Fenomenologi Interpretatif digunakan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Siswa berjilbab memaknai pengertian mikroagresi gender. Temuannya mengungkapkan bahwa mereka sering mengalami diskriminasi yang tidak kentara dan tidak mencolok. Fakta ini dikenal sebagai agresi mikro gender. Narasinya menunjukkan bahwa peserta mengalami mikroagresi gender karena penampilan mereka. Pelaku menilai pesertanya fanatik terhadap agama dan tidak kompeten. Peserta juga harus menghadapi isolasi sosial dan terpinggirkan dalam kelompoknya. Selain itu, peserta juga bisa merasakan dampak positif dari menghindari objektifikasi seksual. Berdasarkan temuan ini, direkomendasikan agar layanan konseling di institusi pendidikan tinggi mengambil langkah proaktif untuk mencegah dan mengatasi agresi mikro gender. Selain itu, konselor juga perlu memiliki kompetensi dalam memberikan layanan inklusif.Kata Kunci : Gender, Mikroagresi, Bercadar, Investigasi Pendahuluan, Siswa.

Abstract

The background of this research is that a wife has experienced domestic violence and finds it difficult to accept the experience of domestic violence. The purpose of this research is to increase SWB in wives who have experienced domestic violence by giving forgiveness therapy. The type of research is action research single case experimental design with two subjects. Data collection techniques used interview observations and the SWB scale which consisted of life satisfaction and positive negative affect components. The method of data analysis was carried out by means of qualitative quantitative analysis. Quantitative analysis used Kendalls'Wa non-parametric statistical tests, while qualitative analysis was carried out based on written documents summarized during the assessment process to follow-up. The quantitative results showed that the P value of life satisfaction = 0.263 (p 0.05), the positive P affect = 0.105 (p 0.05) and the negative P affect = 0.115 (p 0.05) indicating that the quantitative hypothesis test did not there is a significant increase in SWB. Meanwhile, based on the results of the qualitative analysis, it was concluded that in general, forgiveness therapy can increase SWB in wives who experience domestic violence because they feel the benefits and changes from each stage of the intervention.Keywords : wife has experienced domestic violence (KDRT), SWB, Forgiveness therapy

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat prokrastinasi akademik, pelaksanaan konseling kelompok realitas teknik WDEP, serta pengaruh konseling kelompok realitas dengan teknik WDEP untuk mengurangi prokrastinasi akademik. Desain ekperimen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah one group pretest – posttest. Penelitian ini memiliki populasi sebanyak 29 siswa dengan sampel sebanyak 3 siswa yang teridentifikasi memiliki prokrastinasi akademik yang tinggi. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu Non-Probability Sampling dengan teknik Purposive Sampling. Layanan konseling kelompok realitas teknik WDEP yang dilakukan sebanyak 6 kali pertemuan. Indikator yang digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat prokrastinasi akademik siswa mencakup penundaan untuk memulai dan menyelesaikan tugas, keterlambatan dalam mengerjakan tugas, kesenjangan waktu rencana dan kinerja aktual, dan melakukan aktivitas lain yang lebih menyenangkan. Kondisi awal prokrastinasi akademik dilihat dari hasil skor sebelum diberikan treatment rata-rata nilai skor pre-test yaitu sebesar 98,67 setelah diberikan treatment nilai rata-rata skor turun menjadi 68,3 jadi penurunan skor rata-rata yaitu sebesar 30,3. Pelaksanaan perlakuan dilakukan sesuai dengan konseling kelompok realitas teknik WDEP yaitu Wants, Doing, Evaluation dan Plan. Berdasarkan uji Paired Samples t-test, nilai Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,005. Karena nilai 0,005 < 0,05, maka maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan secara statistik antara skor prokrastinasi akademik sebelum dan sesudah treatment. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa konseling kelompok realitas dengan teknik WDEP dapat digunakan dalam mengurangi prokrastinasi akademik siswa. Kata Kunci: Teknik WDEP, Prokrastinasi Akademik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether reality therapy group counseling, utilizing the WDEP (Wants, Doing, Evaluation, Planning) procedure, effectively reduces academic procrastination among high school students. A one‐group pretest‐posttest design was applied in this quantitative research. Data were gathered via purposive sampling from a population of 122 eleventh‐grade pupils at SMA Negeri 1 Loa Janan. 7 students exhibiting pronounced levels of academic procrastination, identified by the school counselor and homeroom teachers, were then selected to participate in the intervention. The researcher developed and validated the Academic Procrastination Scale to measure participants’ tendencies. Group counseling sessions incorporated WDEP steps alongside reality therapy techniques—statistical analysis employed paired‐sample t‐tests to compare pretest and posttest scores. Findings revealed a mean pretest score of 69.00, indicating high procrastination, which decreased to a mean posttest score of 41.28 after intervention. The paired‐sample t‐test yielded a p‐value of 0.001 (p < 0.05), confirming a statistically significant difference between initial and final measurements. Consequently, the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted, demonstrating that reality therapy group counseling combined with the WDEP procedure constitutes an effective strategy for reducing academic procrastination. These results contribute empirical support for integrating WDEP‐based reality therapy into school guidance and counseling programs. By providing a structured intervention framework, this study offers practitioners a practical, evidence‐based approach for addressing procrastination and enhancing student academic responsibility at the secondary education level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk medeskripsikan teknik token ekonomi dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan belajar siswa Mts Muhammadiyah 1 Samarinda. Masih banyak siswa MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Samarinda sering melanggar peraturan yang berlaku di sekolah, seperti datang ke sekolah terlambat, tidak mengumpulkan tugas tepat pada waktunya, membolos pada saat jam pelajaran berlangsung, bermain di dalam kelas saat jam pelajaran, tidak memakai seragam dan atributnya dengan baik, tidak mengikuti proses pembelajaran dengan baik. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui teknik token ekonomi dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan belajar siswa Mts Muhammadiyah 1 Samarinda. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi serta sumber data yaitu guru bimbingan dan konseling, wali kelas dan siswa. Adapun analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa token ekonomi telah diterapkan di MTS Muhammadiyah 1 Samarinda namun masih belum secara sempurna sehingga memerlukan evaluasi atau perancangan ulang agar siswa mampu menerima dan memahami tentang pentingnya kedisiplinan. Masih ada siswa yang tidak memperdulikan poin apa yang akan diberikan oleh guru kepadanya. Oleh karena itu, membutuhkan evaluasi yang melibatkan pihak tenaga pendidik dan peserta didik. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mewujudkan keselarasan peserta didik dengan tenaga pendidik sehingga melakukan rapat evaluasi untuk mengambil titik tengah permsalahan pada token ekonomi yang diterapkan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group guidance with reframing techniques in overcoming students' low confidence in public speaking. The study was conducted at SMK Negeri 7 Samarinda, Samarinda City. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. The research subjects were 16 students divided into an experimental group and a control group of 8 students each. The data collection technique used a public speaking confidence scale in the form of a Likert scale. The instrument has been tested for validity with the Pearson correlation technique and tested for reliability using Alpha Cronbach. In addition to the scale, data were also obtained through observation and interviews to describe the conditions and behavior of students during the service process and after the treatment process was carried out. Data analysis techniques in this study included prerequisite analysis and hypothesis testing. Prerequisite analysis was carried out with a normality test using Shapiro-Wilk and a homogeneity test using the Levene test through the SPSS version 25 program. Furthermore, hypothesis testing was carried out using an independent samples t-test. Score improvement analysis was also carried out using N-gain to measure changes in pre-test and post-test scores in each group. The results showed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups after treatment, with a 2-tailed significance value of 0.028 (p < 0.05). The experimental group's posttest average was 88.2, higher than the control group's 76.3. The experimental group's average N-gain score was 0.6945, higher than the control group's 0.3296. These findings indicate that group guidance with the reframing technique is significantly effective, based on the difference in posttest scores and N-gain scores, in increasing students' confidence in public speaking and can be an alternative service for guidance and counseling teachers in schools.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of student needs assessments through AKPD, AUM, observations, and interviews that indicate that there are students with low levels of self-confidence caused by the lack of role and support from the family. One effort that can be done to overcome this problem is to develop service media that involve the role of the family. Therefore, this study aims to develop a family counseling module with positive reinforcement techniques to increase student self-confidence. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) Level 1 method, which focuses on product design and validation without extensive field trials. The product developed is a family counseling module with positive reinforcement techniques to increase student self-confidence. Validation was carried out by three validators consisting of material experts, linguists, and guidance and counseling practitioners. The assessment uses a validation sheet with a Likert scale of 1-4 on the aspects of material, language, and practicality, then the percentage of feasibility is calculated: ≤40% = less, 41-60% = sufficient, 61-80% = feasible, and 81-100% = very feasible. The results showed that the validation score from subject matter experts was 87.5%, from language experts 97.5%, and from guidance and counseling practitioners 100%, resulting in an average module feasibility percentage of 95%. These results indicate that this module is categorized as "very feasible" for use as a family counseling service in schools. However, because this study used a Level 1 R&D approach, the module was only tested for feasibility and validity. Therefore, this study did not test the module's effectiveness or its impact on increasing participants' self-confidence.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between toxic parenting and duck syndrome with the psychological well-being of adolescents. This study uses a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The subjects of the study were grade X students of SMA Negeri 3 Samarinda who were selected using a purposive sampling technique with the criteria of male and female students, experiencing toxic parenting and duck syndrome with moderate to high categories, with a research sample of 92. The results of the study showed that toxic parenting and duck syndrome had a relationship with a sig. 0.000 <0.05 with a positive relationship direction which means that the higher the toxic parenting, the higher the tendency of duck syndrome in adolescents. In toxic parenting and psychological well-being there was a relationship with a sig. 0.001 <0.05 with a negative relationship direction which means that the higher the toxic parenting, the lower the psychological well-being. Furthermore, in duck syndrome and psychological well-being there was a relationship with a sig. 0.000 < 0.05, with a negative correlation, meaning that the higher the duck syndrome, the lower the psychological well-being. Finally, there was a correlation between toxic parenting and duck syndrome and psychological well-being, with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that toxic parenting and the tendency towards duck syndrome are simultaneously related to the psychological well-being of adolescents. Toxic parenting and duck syndrome are factors that need to be considered in efforts to improve the psychological well-being of adolescents, so parents and schools need to play a role in creating an environment that supports healthy psychological development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of AI Chatbot as a coping strategy in overcoming academic stress in students of SMAN 9 Samarinda. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach and descriptive research type to understand in depth the students' experiences in using AI Chatbot as a coping strategy against academic stress in SMAN 9 Samarinda. The research subjects consisted of two students who used AI Chatbot, with secondary data in the form of interviews with close friends and documentation of screenshots of conversation history. Data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews, voice recordings, and documentation, with the researcher as the main instrument. The study was conducted in June-July 2025. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and verification of conclusions. Data validity was tested through source triangulation. The results showed that the use of AI Chatbot in students includes emotion-focused coping and problem-focused coping. Driving factors include a closed attitude, low emotional self-efficacy, less supportive social experiences, high academic pressure, ease of access, and AI Chatbot features. The impacts of use include assistance with emotional regulation and academic support, but they also carry the risk of dependence and inaccurate information. This study confirms the psychological impact of AI chatbot use based on phenomenological analysis and triangulation of data sources. This study recommends the need for school policies to provide classroom guidance on the wise use of ChatGPT.
