Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui berapa besar hasil belajar peserta didik sebelum menggunakan strategi pembelajaran snowball throwing berbantuan media poster pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti, Penelitian ini  merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan jenis penelitian eksperimen tipe penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experimental)  dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu randomized pretest-posttest kontrol group desaign. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 10 Padang tahun 2021/2022 semester genap. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik random sampling, kelas yang terpilih sebagai kelas eksperimen adalah kelas VIII.1 dan kelas kontrol kelas VIII.2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran snowball throwing berbantuan media poster dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar secara efektif dengan  rata-rata nilai post-test kelas eksperimen 82,03, sedangkan nilai rata-rata post-test kelas kontrol 67,16. Dibuktikan uji hipotesis dengan SPSS versi 26 diperoleh rata-rata (mean) eksperimen sebesar=0,4724, maka diambil kesimpulan bahwa g  0,3. Hal ini berarti  ditolak  diterima, Artinya  terdapat pengaruh yang kuat untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kelas yang menggunakan  strategi pembelajaran snowball throwing berbantuan media poster dibandingkan kelas yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran konvensional pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 10 Padang.

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to find out the history of the dynamics of renewal of Islamic educational institutions in the archipelago, namely surau, Islamic boarding schools and madrasas in the history of Islamic education. The Indonesian Islamic community must pay attention to the development of Islam, the history of education from time to time, from the time of the Prophet Muhammad, friends of Khulafaurrasyidin, Tabi', Tabiuttabi'in to the present day. History teaches us to look at the development of education that we have gone through so that it can be used as an evaluation and education for us and future generations. The Muslim community deserves to forget and avoid history, with history we learn to understand education in the past, provide analytical skills, appreciate the services of previous people, know technological developments and knowledge of studying the mistakes of the education system in the past so as not to repeat mistakes again, history also has an important role in formation of national identity and personality and religion.
