Abstract

Angka kejadian luka setiap tahun semakin meningkat, baik luka akut maupun luka kronis, maka dari itu perawat dituntut untuk mempunyai pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang adekuat terkait dengan proses perawatan luka dengan yang dimulai dari pengkajian yang komprehensif, perencanaan intervensi yang tepat, implementasi tindakan, evaluasi hasil yang ditemukan selama perawatan serta dokumentasi hasil yang sistematis (Agustina, 2009 dalam Sinaga, 2011). Pengetahuan perawat di ruang rawat inap bedah RS. Immanuel mengenai modern dressing masih sangat terbatas karena minim terpaparnya mengenai modern dressing serta jarang melakukan atau mengaplikasikan modern dressing. Hasil observasi juga ada beberapa perawat ruangan salah dalam mengaplikasikan modern dressing. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Hasil Penelitian didapatkan bahwa setengahnya dari responden memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang baik tentang aplikasi modern dressing sebanyak 15 orang (50%), sebagian besar dari responden berada pada sikap mendukung tentang aplikasi modern dressing yaitu sebanyak 17 responden (56,67 %). Hasil analisis data hubungan pengetahuan dengan sikap perawat secara statistik dengan menggunakan uji Chi-Square didapatkan hasil 2 cells (33,3%) dengan expected count < 5 dan nilai pearson chi-square p = 0.021 diperoleh nilai p < ɑ (0.05). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat Hubungan yang signifikan antara Pengetahuan dengan sikap perawat tentang aplikasi modern dressing di ruang rawat inap bedah RS. Immanuel Bandung. Diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan perawat tentang aplikasi modern dressing dengan mengadakan program pelatihan woundcare umumnya dan tentang aplikasi modern dressing khususnya kepada perawatnya.

Abstract

The incidence of injuries is increasing every year, both acute wounds and chronic wounds, therefore nurses are required to have adequate knowledge and skills related to the wound care process starting from a comprehensive assessment, planning appropriate interventions, implementing actions, evaluation of the results found during treatment and systematic documentation of results (Agustina, 2009 in Sinaga, 2011). Knowledge of nurses in the surgical inpatient ward of the hospital. Immanuel regarding modern dressing is still very limited because of the minimal exposure to modern dressing and rarely do or apply modern dressing. The results of observations also showed that some room nurses were wrong in applying modern dressings. The method used is descriptive quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The results showed that half of the respondents had a good level of knowledge about the application of modern dressing as many as 15 people (50%), most of the respondents were in a supportive attitude about the application of modern dressing as many as 17 respondents (56.67%). The results of the data analysis of the relationship between knowledge and nurses' attitudes statistically using the Chi-Square test showed 2 cells (33.3%) with an expected count < 5 and a Pearson chi-square p value = 0.021 obtained a p value of < (0.05). So it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and nurses' attitudes about the application of modern dressings in the surgical inpatient ward of the hospital. It is expected to increase nurses' knowledge about the application of modern dressings by holding woundcare general and about the application of modern dressings in particular to their nurses
