Abstract

The Independent Curriculum is an educational innovation that aims to give schools the freedom to adapt their curriculum to students' needs and preferences. The aim of this research is to obtain an overview of the competency profile of Guidance and Counseling Teachers in Palangka Raya in implementing the independent curriculum. This research method is quantitative research with a survey type. With data analysis techniques is percentages. The research sample was 50 Guidance and Counseling Teachers in Palangka Raya. The results of the research show that there are 37 or 74% of BK teachers who have in-depth knowledge of the independent curriculum; 39 BK teachers or 78% have the ability to map student potential; 33 guidance and counseling teachers or 66% have skills in designing individual guidance programs; 42 BK teachers or 84% have effective counseling and communication skills; 46 BK teachers or 92% have collaboration and partnership skills.

Abstract

Self-acceptance is a person's level of awareness about his or her personal traits and the desire to accept his or her circumstances. Self-acceptance is an attitude that basically feels satisfied with oneself, recognizes the qualities and talents possessed, and realizes the shortcomings in oneself. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of group counseling with expressive writing therapy techniques to increase self-acceptance in students who are victims of broken homes at SMK Negeri 1 Palangka Raya. This type of research is experimental quantitative research, pre-experimental designs in the form of one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were students in class XI TKR and XI TAV, a sample of 4 students with purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using, questionnaires, observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using t-test with the help of SPSS 25 for windows. Based on the results of the study, it is known that there are 3 students with low category self-acceptance and 1 student in the medium category, with an average pre-test score of 91 in the low category. After getting group counseling services, it shows that the post-test results increase with an average post-test score of 101 in the moderate category. Then the t-test was carried out and the t-count> t-table value was obtained = 10.088> 3.182 so that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, meaning that it could be concluded that there was an increase in self-acceptance in students who were victims of broken homes after being given group counseling services with expressive writing therapy techniques.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the understanding of speaking ethics by giving Group Guidance using Sociodrama Technique. This research uses experimental quantitative method with the design of “one group pretest-postest design”, the sample in the research from class XI MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 2 Palangka Raya which amounted to 6 students as samples with purposive sampling technique. Based on the research results, it is known that the descriptive results before being given group guidance services with sociodrama techniques, the average percentage of understanding of speaking ethics is 34.16%. Descriptive results of understanding of speaking ethics are low, after being given group guidance services with sociodrama techniques, the average percentage of 42.83% is included in the high classification.  It is known that t count -14.100> t table -4.032 using the paired sample t test. Then the Ho hypothesis is rejected and Ha is accepted.  This shows that “group guidance services with sociodrama techniques can improve understanding of speaking ethics of students in class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Palangka Raya”.
