Abstract

This research was motivated by the low initial reading skills of students in class B at Tiara Pertiwi Loa Janan Kindergarten, a problem was found, namely that more than half of the students in the class did not know the letters of the alphabet, factors that caused students' low initial reading skills, including inadequate learning models and media. effective. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of the contextual learning model on the beginning reading abilities of children aged 5-6 years at Tiara Pertiwi Loa Janan Kindergarten. This type of research is quantitative, namely using experimental research methods with the research type Quasi Experimental Design and the research design is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all class B students at Tiara Pertiwi Loa Janan Kindergarten. The samples in this research were class B2 as the experimental class and class B4 as the control class. The initial reading ability data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics in the SPSS 28.0 For Windows program. The results show that the posttest completeness percentage values ​​for the experimental class and control class are 100% and 20% respectively. The results of hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample T-test in the SPSS 28.0 For Windows program showed that Two-Sided p was 0.003, smaller than 0.05, thus H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. The conclusion from the research results after treatment is that the contextual learning model has a significant effect on the beginning reading abilities of children aged 5-6 years at Tiara Pertiwi Loa Janan Kindergarten.  Using a contextual learning model with picture media and letter cards makes learning fun and more enthusiastic about recognizing letters.

Abstract

Badan Narkotika Nasional Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara memberikan pelayanan rehabilitasi berupa rawat jalan merupakam kegiatan rehabilitasi yang didalamnya terdapat metode konseling antara pasien dengan perawat rehabilitasi, dilakukan selama delapan kali pertemuan. Dijadwalkan satu minggu untuk satu kali pertemuan. Biasanya, pasien mendapatkan cobaan ditengah jalan. Diminggu ketiga biasanya pasien rehab rentan kembali lagi untuk mengonsumsi narkoba. Tidak sampai 8 (delapan) kali pertemuan pasien sudah berhenti ditengah jalan. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan reduksi data, penyajian data serta penarikan kesimpulan, selain itu standar pelayanan ditopang dengan data-data dukung. Pelayanan Rehabilitasi BNN Hulu Sungai Utara masih belum terdapat ruang tunggu khusus untuk pasien, meski begitu pelayanan tentang rehabilitasi tetap dimaksimalkan, hanya saja untuk pegawai yang menangani reabilitasi sebenarnya masih kurang dikarenakan belum adanya tenaga konselor dan psikolog yang menangani pasien rehab, disarankan Kepada BNNK HSU agar menyampaikan informasi kepada masyarakat yang kurang tahu tentang rehabilitasi rawat jalan yang ada pada Kantor BNNK HSU supaya melakukan kegiatan sosialisasi lebih giat lagi, tidak hanya di Kecamatan ataupun sekolah tetapi juga pada Desa, baik secara langsung berupa tatap muka atau secara tidak langsung melalui pembagian brosur atau pamflet, maupun melalui media sosial.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of gross motor physical play in supporting the creation of an active and enjoyable learning environment at TK Tiara Pertiwi Loa Janan. Gross motor physical play, such as running, jumping, and obstacle courses, is used to develop children's gross motor skills as well as enhance their engagement and motivation in learning. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews with teachers, and documentation of learning activities. The results show that gross motor physical play can create a more dynamic, enjoyable learning atmosphere while supporting children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. Additionally, this type of play also plays a role in overcoming children's boredom during learning sessions and enhancing social interaction among students. Despite challenges related to limited facilities, gross motor play can still be adapted creatively by teachers. This study concludes that gross motor physical play has a positive impact on creating an active, enjoyable, and effective learning environment at TK Tiara Pertiwi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh permainan memancing angka terhadap kemampuan mengenal angka pada anak usia 4 – 5 tahun di BIMBA AIUEO Swadarma Raya. Untuk memperoleh data penelitian yaitu dengan menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas menurut Kurt Lewin. Subjek penelitiannya yaitu anak usia 4-5 tahun di BIMBA AIUEO Swadarma Raya berjumlah 8 orang, 3 anak perempuan dan 5 anak laki-laki. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua tahap siklus, yaitu siklus I dan siklus II dengan melalui tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes, observasi, checklist, dan dokumentasi. Kemampuan mengenal angka sebelum dilakukan tindakan yaitu 65% BB (Belum Berkembang), kemudian pada tahap siklus I 50% MB (Mulai Berkembang), dan mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan pada tahap siklus II yaitu 80% BSB (Berkembang Sangat Baik). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media permainan memancing angka dapat memberikan peningkatan kemampuan mengenal angka untuk anak usia 4-5 tahun di BIMBA AIUEO Swadarma Raya.

Abstract

Assessment in early childhood education (ECED) plays a crucial role in identifying and facilitating children's development. In the early childhood period, children experience rapid development in physical, social, emotional and cognitive aspects. Therefore, proper assessment aims not only to provide grades, but also to understand how children learn and interact with their surroundings. There are several types of assessments that are often used, including formative assessments that are conducted continuously throughout the learning process, and summative assessments that are conducted at the end of a period. Performance and portfolio assessments are also effective methods of assessing children's progress. Through comprehensive assessments, educators can understand the specific needs of each child, design appropriate learning experiences and involve parents in the learning process. Results from assessments provide valuable information that can be used to adjust the curriculum, improve teaching methods and create a better learning environment. Thus, assessment becomes an important tool in supporting children's optimal development in the early years. In this study, we emphasis the importance of implementing child-centred assessments and collaboration between educators and parents in evaluating and strengthening children's learning experiences. With the right approach, assessment can not only improve children's learning outcomes, but also strengthen their foundation for future learning.
