Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan laboratorium virtual dan untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan laboratorium virtual berbasis multimedia interaktif sebagai media pembelajaran pada praktikum titrasi asam basa. Diharapkan produk yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan berbasis produk Hannafin dan Peck yang terdiri dari tiga fase yaitu fase analisis kebutuhan, fase desain, dan fase pengembangan/implementasi. Subjek uji coba produk pengembangan ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIA3 SMA Negeri 6 Takalar dengan jumlah siswa 28 orang. Dalam penelitian ini, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala Likert. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk semua item dan aspek yang diukur, penilaian kevalidan media memperoleh kriteria valid, penilaian kepraktisan media berada pada kategori praktis dan keefektifan dengan N-gain = 0.785 dengan kategori tinggi. Dari hasil tersebut menujukkan media laboratorium virtual berbasis multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan memiliki kategori valid, praktis dan efektif, sehingga dapat disimpulkan media laboratorium virtual berbasis multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan layak dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran. Kata kunci  : Laboratorium Virtual, Multimedia Interaktif, Titrasi Asam-basa. ABSTRACTThis research aims to develop virtual laboratory in order to find its validity, practicality, and effectiveness of virtual laboratory interactive multimedia based in acids bases titration experiment. It is expected that the product developed can improve learning outcomes. This developing research uses a developing model based on Hannafin and Peck  product. It contains three phases which are need analysis phase, design phase, and developing or implementing phase. The subjects of this developing product are 28 students of SMA Negeri 6 Takalar class XI MIA3. In collecting the data, the researcher applies questionnaire using Likert Scale. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics analysis. The findings of this research show valid of all aspects and items that have been measured for its validity and pratical for its media practicality and effective with the pretest-posttest show gain = 0.785 high category. It is concluded that the developing of virtual laboratory interactive multimedia based in acids bases titration experiment proves as valid, practical, and effective which can be properly applied as the learning media. Keywords: Virtual Laboratory, Interactive Multimedia, Acids Bases Tiration

Abstract

Rheumatic disease (rheumatoid arthritis) is a degenerative disease that affects the productive age of 25-60 years which results in decreased community productivity. The immunological pathology process occurs several years before clinical symptoms appear. One of the causes of rheumatoid arthristis is the regulation of food patterns which is a triggering factor for arthritis. The purpose of this study is to help introduce rheumatic diseases and the right food for people with rheumatism in Liku Lambara Village, Tawaeli District. The method used in the socialization was face-to-face and lecture method in one of the residents' houses. Abstract

This descriptive research aims to analyze the student’s misconceptions on hydrocarbon subject that have been learned by STAD Type of Cooperative Learning Model. The subjects in research are 31 students of SMA Negeri 1 Pangkajene class XI MIA 1. The data was collected by 7 items essay test and intensified by interviews. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistic method to obtain percentage of the misconseption. The result of this research shows that student’s misconception is low category, 17% in determining C atom of primary, secondary, tertiary, and quaternary. In naming of alkanes, alkenes, and alkyne’s structure, is low category, average 24,5%. In understanding addition and subtitusi reaction of hydrocarbon is low category, 22,4%.  And low category, average 21,3% on misconception of hydrocarbon in generallydisciplining teachers and motivating them to comply with the foundation's policies is a problem that must be immediately found a solution. This research uses a qualitative approach, data sources obtained through interviews through zoom applications, documentation, and observation. This article found that PAUD al Ashriyyah Principal Nurul Iman in improving teacher discipline used autocratic style to be the dominant style, not seen other styles played by principals in the leadership model. Abstract

Molecular simulation, a cornerstone of computational chemistry, has revolutionized the understanding and design of chemical reactions. This study explores the application of computational chemistry methods in elucidating reaction mechanisms and guiding molecular design. Employing diverse algorithms rooted in classical and quantum mechanics, molecular simulations unravel the dynamic behavior of molecules, offering insights into spatial arrangements and temporal evolution. A comparative analysis of simulation algorithms reveals their mathematical foundations, exemplary applications, and computational costs. Standard computational modeling methods, including Density Functional Theory and molecular mechanics, strike a balance between accuracy and efficiency. Case studies demonstrate the efficacy of molecular dynamics and quantum mechanics calculations in dissecting enzymatic, organic, and gas-phase reactions. Computational methods contribute to predicting reaction pathways and mechanisms, accelerating the discovery of novel reactions. In molecular design, simulations guide conformational analysis and electronic structure predictions, culminating in successful drug discovery, materials science, and catalysis outcomes. Challenges, opportunities, and practical applications in research and industry are discussed. This study underscores the transformative role of molecular simulation in shaping the future of chemical research and molecular design.

Abstract

This pre-experimental study aims to determine the effectiveness of a problem-based learning model with a scientific approach for students in the XI IPA class at MAN Pangkep, specifically focusing on the topic of buffer solutions to improve learning outcomes. The effectiveness of the learning process is assessed through pretest and posttest results. A learning outcome test was developed with 25 items, which were validated, resulting in 20 selected items. This test was administered as a pretest during the first meeting to assess the students' initial abilities. Following this, a learning process utilizing the problem-based learning model with a scientific approach was implemented, culminating in a posttest during the final meeting. Additionally, data on student and teacher activity during the learning process were collected. The data obtained from the pretest and posttest were analyzed descriptively using the g-factor formula (N-Gain). The results indicate that the problem-based learning model with a scientific approach is effective for XI IPA students at MAN Pangkep regarding the topic of buffer solutions. This is evidenced by an average gain score of 0.47 in the moderate category, along with an average student activity rate of 61.99% and a teacher activity rate of 88.89%.

Abstract

The low performance of science teachers in learning chemistry material at SMP Negeri 17 Palu is caused by the density of material and the lack of supporting facilities as well as the limitations of teacher professionalism, especially for those with a background in physics and biology education. This problem occurs not only at SMP Negeri 17 Palu, but also at SMP Negeri 16 Palu. Intervention is therefore necessary to enhance the quality of science learning. FKIP Tadulako University implemented an in-depth chemistry material program for science teachers at SMP Palu Utara and Tawaeli with the goal of improving their professional and pedagogical competence. Subject teachers actively participated in this program, applying the principles of cooperative and mutual learning. The evaluation showed a significant increase in teachers' understanding of chemistry concepts and the application of active learning strategies in the classroom. The stages of the activity include material identification, in-depth study of the material, preparation of RPP or teaching modules, and evaluation of the results. The school's full support and the enthusiasm of the participants contributed to the success of this program, with plans to continue advanced training with more specific material. Abstrak Rendahnya kinerja guru IPA dalam pembelajaran materi kimia di SMP Negeri 17 Palu disebabkan oleh padatnya materi dan kurangnya fasilitas pendukung serta keterbatasan profesionalisme guru, terutama bagi mereka yang berlatar belakang pendidikan fisika dan biologi. Masalah ini tidak hanya terjadi di SMP Negeri 17 Palu, tetapi juga di SMP Negeri 16 Palu. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan intervensi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPA. FKIP Universitas Tadulako melaksanakan program pendalaman materi kimia bagi guru-guru IPA di SMP Palu Utara dan Tawaeli, dengan tujuan meningkatkan kompetensi profesional dan pedagogik mereka. Program ini dilakukan secara berkelanjutan dengan melibatkan guru mata pelajaran dan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip pembelajaran kooperatif dan mutual learning. Evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman guru terhadap konsep-konsep kimia dan penerapan strategi pembelajaran aktif di kelas. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi identifikasi materi, pendalaman materi dan penyusunan RPP atau Modul Ajar, serta evaluasi hasil. Dukungan penuh dari pihak sekolah dan antusiasme peserta berkontribusi pada keberhasilan program ini, dengan rencana untuk melanjutkan pelatihan lanjutan dengan materi yang lebih spesifik.

Abstract

This descriptive Pre-Experiment research aims to determine the effectiveness of the hypothetical-deductive learning cycle model in terms of understanding the chemical concepts of SMA Negeri 5 students (subject matter of acid and base solutions). Effectiveness is reviewed from three criteria of completeness, namely individual completeness, class completeness, and indicator completeness. The research subjects were 30 students of class XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 5. Data collection of learning outcomes was done by giving pretest and posttest. The test used was a choice question, selected as many as 25 numbers from 30 numbers after being validated for content and item validation. The data on learning outcomes obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques, namely for individual completeness of 76.279% with high effectiveness criteria. Class completeness was 50% with a fairly high effectiveness category and indicator completeness was 79.59% with a high effectiveness category. This means that chemistry learning for XI IPA SMA Negeri 5 with a hypothetical-deductive learning cycle model when viewed from students' concept understanding in solving problems regarding acid and base solutions is effective in achieving the completeness of learning outcomes.
