Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze how the instillation of specific religious values from Q.S Ash-Shaffat can be applied to early childhood education. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection techniques carried out using observation and interviews. The data analysis techniques in this research include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. In this research, it can be concluded that instilling religious values in children from an early age has a positive impact on children's growth and development. Having a sense of sympathy and empathy that is constructed from an early age allows children to better understand and implement the axiological context. This can minimize children becoming superior and preferring their epistemological aspects alone without being equilibrated with axiological and ontological aspects from an early age. Then this is parallel to what is contained in Q.S Ash-Shaffat where the parenting of parents to children can be considered with what the prophet Ibrahim a.s did to his son, the prophet Ismail a.s. Thus, the relevance to the education of what is contained in Q.S Ash-Shaffat is that learning can be applied based on games, storytelling, and storytelling to foster character education from an early age, and in this domain, it cannot be separated from religious values. So that future research can be carried out that analyzes the learning outcomes of early childhood based on learning methods that overlap with what is contained in Q.S Ash-Shaffat to see the differences, influences, interactions, and improvements that occur in learning in early childhood.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of gadget use on the social interaction of early childhood and the phenomenon of declining interest in traditional play. A quantitative method with an explanatory research approach was employed. The sampling technique used was probability sampling with a simple random sampling method. Instruments included questionnaires and tests. Data analysis prerequisites were tested using normality (Kolmogorov-Smirnov test) and linearity tests, while hypothesis testing utilized correlation and regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS version 26. The research was conducted at Kober Assa'idiyah, West Bandung Regency, with a population comprising all students and a sample of 20 participants. Results revealed that the data were normally distributed, with Kolmogorov-Smirnov significance values of 0.143 for gadget use and 0.200 for social interaction. Correlation analysis produced a Correlation Coefficient of 0.961, indicating a very strong and significant relationship between gadget use and social interaction. Regression analysis yielded the equation Y=13.506+0.902XY = 13.506 + 0.902XY=13.506+0.902X, meaning an increase of one unit in gadget use correlates with a 0.902 unit increase in social interaction. While gadget use has a significant impact, the study also highlights the importance of managing gadget use to avoid diminishing the quality of social interaction and interest in traditional play. The implications of this research underline the critical role of parents, educators, and policymakers in regulating gadget use to optimally support early childhood social development.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the meaning of patterns and symmetry in the Qur’an and the role of mathematics in the context of divinity and aesthetics. Using a qualitative approach with a phenomenological study design, this research involves scholars of Qur’anic interpretation, religious educators, and mathematicians who understand the relationship between mathematics and religion. A total of nine participants were selected through purposive sampling based on specific criteria: (1) academic or professional background in Qur’anic exegesis, religious education, or mathematics, (2) engagement in interdisciplinary discourse between science and religion, and (3) willingness to participate in in-depth interviews. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and textual analysis of the Qur’an using an interpretative approach. The findings indicate that patterns and symmetry in the Qur’an serve as aesthetic elements and representations of the order in God’s creation. Most participants perceive this order as evidence of God’s power in creating the universe with mathematical laws humans can comprehend. However, some perspectives view patterns and symmetry primarily as aesthetic interpretations that enrich the spiritual experience of Muslims. Overall, this study opens opportunities for integrating the understanding of patterns and symmetry in the Qur’an with mathematics education, allowing science and religion to be comprehended as a harmonious unity.

Abstract

The application of GeoGebra in teaching still faces challenges such as teacher readiness and the availability of technology in schools, especially in mathematics learning. This research examines the correlation of the GeoGebra application to the mathematics learning outcomes of students whose learning uses the Realistic Mathematic Education learning model. This research was conducted at SDN 074 Ayudia, Bandung City using quantitative methods with a non-experimental approach. The population in this study were all students at SDN 074 Ayudia with a sample of 27 students in class VI B and the instruments used were questionnaires and tests. The sampling technique was carried out using a probability sampling technique based on cluster sampling. Meanwhile, the swimmer test from the data analysis carried out was a normality test using Kolmogorov-Smirnov assisted by the SPSS application. In this research, it can be concluded that there is no significant correlation between the application of Geogebra to the mathematics learning outcomes of students whose learning uses the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) model, and the correlation is classified as very low. For further research, it is hoped that we can use other learning models to see the influence that occurs between the application of the Geogebra application in mathematics learning to see special equations in simple linear regression to be able to know the probability of the independent variable and the dependent variable.
