Abstract

This research aims to understand the characteristics and patterns of adolescent consumer behavior related to their participation in coffee shop culture and to determine the impact of adolescent consumer behavior on coffee culture from the perspective of Islamic Economics. The phenomenon of the increasing popularity of coffee shops among teenagers indicates a change in consumption patterns, which has the potential to lead to consumerist behavior. Consumerist behavior is considered excessive and inconsistent with the principles of justice and balance in wealth management. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The data sources consist of primary and secondary data. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with teenage visitors to Cafe Rooster, observations, and documentation. The results of this study show that: 1) Coffee shops have become a symbol of social status and a popular gathering place among teenagers, driven by peer pressure and the desire for acceptance. Teenagers are driven to spend money at coffee shops to express themselves, seek enjoyment, and follow trends promoted through social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, which also influence their purchasing decisions. 2) From the perspective of Islamic economics, the consumer behavior of teenagers in coffee shop culture has negative impacts, such as uncontrolled spending and being contrary to the principle of prudence in Islam, which is opposed to the value of blessings in Islam and has the potential to cause financial problems in the future. Therefore, a balance between consumption and saving needs to be maintained.

Abstract

Abstract

Employee performance is a key factor in achieving organizational goals, especially in the public service sector such as hospitals. This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership, organizational commitment, and compensation on employee performance at Nganjuk Regional Hospital. Effective leadership, high organizational commitment, and a fair compensation system are expected to increase employee motivation and job satisfaction, which will ultimately have a positive impact on their performance. This study uses a quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample consisted of 262 employees who were selected using the accidental sampling technique. The data was collected by distributing online questionnaires to employees through the whatsapp messaging application with a Google Form link, then analyzed using multiple linear regression. This research discusses the influence of leadership, organizational commitment, and compensation, both simultaneously and partially, on employee performance. The results of the study show that leadership, organizational commitment, and compensation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The significance value obtained is 0.000 < (α=0.05) indicating that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Leadership has the greatest influence, followed by organizational commitment and compensation. These findings support previous theories and research that employee performance is influenced by effective leadership, high organizational commitment, and a fair compensation system. So, the implementation of effective leadership, increasing employee affective organizational commitment, and implementing a fair and transparent performance-based compensation system are considerations for the management of Nganjuk Regional Hospital to improve employee performance and the quality of hospital services.

Abstract

The digital transformation in healthcare services has increased the role of HealthTech applications in enhancing efficiency and patient satisfaction. However, adoption remains challenging due to suboptimal user experience. This study examines the user experience of HealthTech applications and its impact on patient satisfaction at Ayu Siwi Eye Clinic, Nganjuk. This quantitative research adopts a case study design, collecting primary data through questionnaires from 30 employees and 30 patients, while secondary data were sourced from patient satisfaction forms and relevant documents. Simple random sampling was applied, and data were analyzed using SPSS, including descriptive analysis, validity and reliability tests, simple regression, and classical assumption tests. Findings reveal a significant relationship (p = 0.034) between user experience and patient satisfaction, where better user experience characterized by ease of use, usability, and effectiveness correlates with higher satisfaction. The R-squared value (0.151) indicates that user experience explains 15.1% of patient satisfaction variance, with other factors influencing the rest. To improve satisfaction, Ayu Siwi Eye Clinic should refine application design and provide regular staff training. This study underscores the importance of user experience in HealthTech adoption, recommending future research to increase the sample size and explore additional variables like digital literacy and social media influence.

Abstract

This paper explores the strategic development and implementation of a quality assurance (QA) framework in the educational sector, grounded in the ISO 21001:2018 standard. As a specialized management system for educational organizations, ISO 21001:2018 provides a structured approach to enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of educational processes. The standard emphasizes alignment between institutional operations and the expectations of learners, educators, and other relevant stakeholders. Through a qualitative library research methodology, this study reviews and synthesizes academic literature, policy documents, and institutional case studies that discuss the application of ISO 21001:2018 within various educational settings. The core principles of the standard stakeholder-centered management, strong leadership, engagement of people, process-oriented strategies, continuous improvement, and evidence-based decision-making are examined and incorporated into the design of a strategic QA framework suitable for educational institutions of different types and scales. The findings reveal that implementing a QA system based on ISO 21001:2018 fosters institutional accountability, promotes systematic performance monitoring, and ensures continuous feedback loops for educational improvement. The proposed framework encourages educational organizations to integrate quality planning into strategic decision-making and to align their mission, vision, and educational goals with globally recognized quality benchmarks. Adopting ISO 21001:2018 as the foundation for quality assurance not only strengthens institutional governance but also significantly contributes to better learning outcomes, stakeholder satisfaction, and long-term sustainability. This study recommends that educational institutions consider ISO 21001:2018 not merely as a compliance tool but as a strategic asset for quality transformation.

Abstract

In principle, everyone wants a normal and acceptable life in social life. Human beings naturally follow the rules of people's lives, including the rules in family life, but the social environment, position, social status, and experience can change a person. Similarly, in married life, the original situation can be so harmonious that it can turn into conflicts and quarrels when the husband commits an act of infidelity and the wife does the opposite. This reality is sometimes difficult to overcome, in fact, not a few households end up divorced. The author feels the need to raise the issue of infidelity as the reason for divorce in the South Jakarta religious court where there are still many lawsuits filed by both wives and husbands. This type of research is qualitative research or field research with a juridical and non-juridical approach, namely by conducting a search for the study of Law No. 1 of 1974 concerning marriage and also looking at the mutual benefits of the decision of the Panel of Judges. The results of the study show that: First, the ban on divorce in the South Jakarta Religious Court has several factors, including economic factors, moral crisis, and also infidelity factors. Second, the consideration of the Panel of Judges in deciding case No.503/Pdt.G/2019/PA.JS is to look at the facts at the trial, if the plaintiff's lawsuit can be proven correctly, it becomes the consideration of the Panel of Judges in deciding the case.

Abstract

Hospital Health Promotion is an important function in health care settings that aims to empower patients, families and communities to actively participate in health maintenance and improve well-being. This study analyzed the implementation of Hospital Health Promotion in Simpang Lima Gumul Kediri Hospital to identify factors that influence its effectiveness and develop optimization strategies. A mixed approach was used in this study, including interviews with hospital management and staff, analysis of hospital documents, and review of relevant literature. The results showed that although the hospital has implemented various Hospital Health Promotion programs, there are several challenges that hinder its full potential, lack of training for hospital health promoters, lack of communication among staff, suboptimal program evaluation, and attitudinal barriers from some implementers that hinder the effectiveness of Hospital Health Promotion. To overcome these challenges, the management of Simpang Lima Gumul Hospital in Kediri needs to optimize its Health Promotion program through regular monitoring and evaluation. This process will be supported by a self-assessment form to simplify the evaluation and will include efforts to identify problems, strengthen human resources, develop innovative and integrated programs, utilize technology, increase collaboration with external partners, and measure program achievements for continuous improvement. Implementing this strategy is expected to increase the effectiveness of the hospital's health promotion program and contribute to better health outcomes for the community it serves.
