Abstract

Dalam pengoperasian kapal LNG, Boil off gas (BOG) yang dihasilkan dapat ditreatment untuk dirubah kembali menjadi LNG atau dapat dimanfaatkan untuk keperluan bahan bakar pada sistem penggerak utama. Penanganan BOG menjadi sangat penting dikarenakan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional kapal, namun sebaliknya dapat menimbulkan kerugian secara ekonomi jika tidak dilakukan dengan tepat. Paper ini mengkaji penggunaan BOG yang dihasilkan oleh kapal LNG sebagai bahan bakar pada berbagai operasional mode (Full speed, Economical speed, NBO speed, Pilotage, Drifting, Anchorage). Mesin utama kapal yang digunakan pada kajian ini adalah dual fuel diesel engine (DFDE). Tujuan dilakukannya kajian ini untuk mendapatkan operasi kapal yang optimum saat proses penguapan Natural Boiled Off Gas (NBO) serta membandingkan tiga jenis dual fuel engine pada pengoperasian kapal LNG, yaitu DFDE, ME-GI engine dan X-DF engine. Metode yang digunakan pada kajian ini adalah perhitungan daya mesin kapal, perhitungan propeler, engine propeller matching, dan perhitungan konsumsi bahan bakar. Dari hasil kajian didapatkan bahwa kapal LNG yang saat ini dioperasikan mengkonsumsi bahan bakar lebih banyak dari pada operasi idealnya. Sedangkan dari perbandingan mesin dual fuel, ME-GI memperlihatkan konsumsi bahan bakar yang lebih efisien

Abstract

Abstract:  Shipping cargo using LNG ships has a fairly high level of risk from natural factors, as well as in every type of activity and ship operation. Of the several types of activities on board, enclosed space entry is one of the activities that has a high potential risk of danger. The purpose of this study is what factors affect the safety of crew members when doing work in the enclosed space of an LNG ship and how to control them. The approach method used is quantitative with data analysis techniques using statistical equation modeling (SEM). Research data is processed using SmartPLS. From the results of the study, it was found that crew commitment had a direct effect of 0.249 on work safety. Furthermore, by controlling the captain's transformational leadership, it can increase the indirect effect of 0.734 between the crew members' commitment to work safety.Abstrak: Pengiriman muatan menggunakan kapal LNG memiliki tingkat resiko cukup tinggi baik dari faktor alam, maupun di setiap jenis kegiatan dan pengoperasian kapal. Dari beberapa jenis kegiatan di kapal, enclosed space entry  merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang memiliki potensi  risiko bahaya yang tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah faktor-faktor apa saja yang berpengaruh terhadap keselamatan kerja ABK ketika melakukan pekerjaan di enclosed space kapal LNG serta bagaimana pengendaliannya. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik analisa data mengunakan statistical equation modeling (SEM). Data penelitian diolah menggunakan SmartPLS. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh komitmen ABK berpengaruh secara langsung sebesar 0,249 terhadap keselamatan kerja. Lebih lanjut, dengan pengendalian kepemimpinan transformasional nahkoda dapat meningkatkan pengaruh secara tidak langsung  sebesar 0,734 antara komitmen ABK terhadap keselamatan kerja ABK melakukan pekerjaan di encloused space kapal LNG.

Abstract

Merujuk pada revolusi industri keempat, yang ditandai oleh integrasi teknologi digital, fisik, dan biologis yang semakin mendalam ke dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia dan industri. Dunia pendidikan belakangan ini makin berkembang dalam menjalankan suat sistem pengelolaan bidang akademik. Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Pelayaran merupakan salah satu perguruan tinggi negeri yang menjalankan salah satu fungsi pendidikan berbasis teknologi. Salah satu sistem yang dijalankan adalah Sistem akademik yang mana sebelumnya dilakukan secara manual, saat ini menerapkan Sistem Informasi Akademik (SIAKAD) berbasis web untuk memudahkan pengontrolan mulai dari data mahasiswa, dosen, mata kuliah, jadwal perkuliahan, daftar hadir dosen dan mahasiswa, hingga nilai akhir perkuliahan. Masih banyak perguruan tinggi negeri maupun swasta menggunakan sistem manual dalam mengelola data-data tersebut. Penerapan Sistem ini bertujuan untuk memudahkan pengolahan data agar terstruktur sehingga memudahkan dalam mengakses data mahasiswa dalam melihat akademiknya seperti jadwal kuliah, presensi, nilai, dan lainnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Pelayaran, dengan metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode waterfall. Metode waterfall adalah model klasik terstruktur dalam pembuatan software atau perangkat lunak. Ada beberapa tahapan dalam metode waterfall yaitu analisis dan definisi kebutuhan, perancangan sistem dan perangkat lunak, implementasi dan pengujian unit, pengujian interaksi dan sistem, serta operasi dan pemeliharaan. Model perancangan menggunakan use case, perancangan antarmuka menggunakan CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), Javascript, bahasa pemrograman menggunakan PHP, dan Exampp sebagai database servernya. Hasil dari Penelitian ini sangat efektif dalam pengelolaan data akademik. Sistem Informasi Akademik (SIAKAD) merupakan solusi pemecahan masalah pengolahan data yang lebih cepat dan praktis, dengan merancang sebuah Sistem Informasi Akademik (SIAKAD) mempermudah user dalam meng-collect data akademik disekolah seperti data dosen, mahasiswa, jadwal perkuliahan, presensi dan pembuatan laporan akhir perkuliahan. Selain itu sistem SIAKAD dirancang menggunakan metode waterfall yang sangat mempermudah dosen ataupun user dalam pencarian data dan juga sebagai media informasi bagi mahasiswa maupun dosen di Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Pelayaran.

Abstract

This systematic literature review investigates risk assessment methodologies for Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), highlighting their diversity and effectiveness in addressing emerging safety challenges. With the rapid global adoption of BEVs, there is an increasing need for robust methodologies to assess risks such as thermal runaway (TR), degradation, and operational failures. This review highlights techniques such as fuzzy failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA), hybrid neural networks, bayesian networks (BN), and entropy weight methods. These tools effectively identify and mitigate risks; however, they face challenges in providing holistic, system-level safety assessments and adapting to long-term, real-world conditions. Unlike previous works, this study integrates interdependent BEV subsystems into unified risk models and examines underexplored areas such as maritime transport safety. The transport of BEVs by vessels presents unique risks, including high humidity and confined cargo spaces, which intensify the battery safety challenges. Tools like FMEA and real-time monitoring systems are critical to mitigate these risks. The findings highlight the growing reliance on real-time diagnostics and advanced algorithms for enhancing BEV safety and reliability. By identifying gaps and proposing recommendations, this review aims to support the development of standardized frameworks to ensure BEV safety across various environments and operational scenarios, contributing to their continued global adoption.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the port sector is a strategic step to improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability in services. One concrete example of this transformation is the implementation of the Si-PDKT (Ship Document Inspection System) application, which is applied by the Cirebon Class II KSOP. This application aims to accelerate the clearance in process for ships and supports the improvement of service quality and accountability in loading and unloading services. However, in practice, various obstacles are still found, such as limitations in system integration, human resource readiness, and resistance to new technology usage. This study aims to analyze the effect of the digitalization system (X1) and the clearance in process (X2) on service quality (Y) and its implications for the accountability of loading and unloading services (Z) at Cirebon Port. The approach used is explanatory quantitative with data collection through questionnaires from port service users. Data analysis is carried out using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the SmartPLS software, complemented by SWOT analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the implementation of the Si-PDKT application. The results of the study show that the digitalization system and the clearance in process have a positive and significant impact on service quality. Furthermore, service quality acts as a mediating variable that strengthens the influence of the digitalization system and clearance in on the accountability of loading and unloading services. The SWOT analysis also reveals that the application of Si-PDKT has great potential to be optimized, especially through improved system integration, human resource training, and adaptive regulatory support. This research provides strategic contributions to the development of smart port-based port services and serves as a reference for KSOP and other port stakeholders in formulating policies to improve public services that are efficient and accountable in the digital era

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of maritime regulations and company policies on accident rates with human factors as an intervening variable at PT. Marina Logistics Sejahtera. The main issue examined is the extent to which maritime regulations and internal company policies can reduce shipping accident rates, as well as how human factors act as a mediator in strengthening the relationship among these variables. The population of this research consists of all crew members working at PT. Marina Logistik Sejahtera, with a total sample of 89 respondents. The sampling technique employed was purposive sampling using the Slovin formula. This study applied a quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach, in which data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through several stages, including validity testing, reliability testing, and path analysis. The results indicate that maritime regulations and company policies have a positive and significant effect on both human factors and accident rates. Furthermore, human factors are proven to be an intervening variable that strengthens the influence of maritime regulations and company policies in reducing accident rates. Moreover, company policies have a more dominant effect compared to maritime regulations in shaping human factors and decreasing accident rates. The conclusion of this study is that improving regulatory compliance and strengthening internal policies based on training and crew competence are crucial strategies to reduce accident risks. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the company enhance its safety training system, improve regulatory monitoring mechanisms, and develop a risk management program focused on improving the quality of maritime human resources
