Abstract

In general, our students' reading ability is still low. The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of learning reading strategies on the ability to read narrative texts and explanatory texts in fourth grade elementary school students. This research is a quasi-experimental research (quasi experiment). The research design used was a pretest-posttest control-group design. The population of this study was 111 students, while the sample in this study was 76 students. The independent variable in this research is learning reading strategies, while the dependent variable is students' ability to read narrative texts and students' ability to read explanatory texts. The data collection method used is the test method. The collected data on students' ability to read narrative text and ability to read explanatory text were analyzed using the MANOVA statistical analysis technique. Based on the research that has been conducted, it was found that first, there is a significant influence of learning reading strategies on the ability to read narrative texts of fourth grade elementary school students. Second, there is a significant influence of reading strategy learning on the ability to read explanatory texts of fourth grade elementary school students. Third, Simultaneously, there is a significant influence of reading strategy learning on the ability to read narrative texts and the ability to read explanatory texts in fourth grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Learning social science is still centered on the teacher, therefore it is necessary to have an innovative learning model that can foster collaboration skills and social attitudes of students. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the problem based learning model on social attitudes and collaboration skills. This research is included in the quasi-experimental research. The number of samples used in this study were 44 students, consisting of 21 students as the experimental class. The independent variable was the problem-based learning model. While the dependent variable is social attitudes and students' collaboration skills. The data collection method in this study used the questionnaire method and the observation method. Hypothesis testing using Manova analysis. The results of the study show that 1) there is a significant influence of the problem-based learning model on social attitudes. 2) There is a significant effect of the problem-based learning model on collaboration skills 3) Simultaneously, there is a significant effect of the problem-based learning model on social attitudes and collaboration skills of social studies content.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of integrating Asta Cita values and religious moderation in improving students’ digital literacy in the post-truth era. The phenomenon of the rapid flow of digital information often leads to the spread of disinformation and the degradation of ethical values among young people, necessitating a learning approach that is not only cognitive but also grounded in spiritual and moral values. This research uses a mixed method approach, involving two groups of students: a group that received Asta Cita value-based learning and religious moderation, and a group that did not participate in Asta Cita value-based learning and moderation. Quantitative data was obtained thru digital literacy tests, while qualitative data was collected thru observation and reflective interviews. The research results show that the experimental group experienced a significant improvement in digital literacy skills, particularly in the aspects of critical thinking, media ethics, and moderation awareness in technology use. The integration of Asta Cita values such as tat twam asi (empathy), dharma santosa (peace), and jana kerthi (social service) can foster a sense of responsibility and social sensitivity in digital interactions. Meanwhile, the application of religious moderation values strengthens students’ ability to objectively filter information and avoid extreme attitudes in responding to digital issues. Thus, this study concludes that integrating Asta Cita values and religious moderation into learning can be an effective strategy for building intelligent, ethical digital character rooted in national values in the post-truth era.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangakan lembar kerja siswa khsusnya pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang berorientasi keterampilan proses untuk meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa. Adapun model pengembangan yang diterapkan yaitu model Four-D. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa sekolah dasar, Instrument menggunakan lembar validasi pengembangan lembar kerja siswa, angket respon siswa dan angket kemandirian belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, hasil penilaian produk yang dilakukan oleh ahli media, mendapat nilai 113 rata-rata 4,4 interval 91,9 < X ? 113,5 yang berarti berkategori baik. Hasil penilaian produk oleh ahli materi, dengan nilai 60 rata-rata 3,4 interval 57,9< X ?71,2 berkategori baik. Untuk penilaian oleh ahli kebahasaan, diperoleh nilai 53 rata-rata 4,5 interval X> 50,5 dan berkategori sangat baik. Kemudian nilai kemandirian belajar siswa memproleh 468 dan persentase 93% berada pada kategori kemandirian tinggi, dan yang terakhir nilai respon siswa didapat 668 dan persentase 93% dengan kategori sangat merespon. Jadi dapat disimpulkan pengembangan lembar kerja siswa yang berorientasi pada keterampilan proses sangat baik dan efektif diterapkan maupun digunakan dalam membangun kemandirian berlajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini tujuannya untuk pengkajian efektivitas penggunaan Zep Quiz, sebuah aplikasi kuis interaktif, dalam peningkatan minat belajar siswa kelas V SD untuk pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Pendidikan merupakan suatu proses yang terencana dan terarah untuk mengembangkan seluruh potensi yang dimiliki individu, baik dari aspek kognitif, afektif, maupun psikomotorik, agar mampu menjadi manusia yang berkarakter, berpengetahuan,dan bertanggung jawab. Pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di tingkat Sekolah Dasar ialah pelajaran yang krusial untuk bekal siswa melalui pengetahuan dasar mengenai materi Pendidikan Pancasila. Minat belajar adalah salah satu faktor penting yang memengaruhi keberhasilan proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur sebagai pendekatan utama. Studi literatur dilakukan untuk mengkaji, menganalisis, dan mensintesis berbagai teori, hasil penelitian, dan temuan relevan yang berkaitan dengan peningkatan minat belajar. Studi literatur dipilih untuk memperoleh gambaran komprehensif mengenai pendekatan, teknologi, dan metode pembelajaran yang telah digunakan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan zep quis. Media ini juga memudahkan guru dalam memberikan umpan balik secara cepat dan mengukur pemahaman siswa secara real-time. Dengan fitur kuis yang menantang dan menyenangkan, Zep Quiz mampu mengatasi kejenuhan siswa dan memacu semangat belajar melalui kompetisi sehat. Selain meningkatkan minat, media ini juga mendukung pembelajaran mandiri dan pengulangan materi secara fleksibel serta meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa

Abstract

Learning in elementary schools is not only oriented toward academic achievement but also toward the development of students’ social skills and learning motivation. One cooperative learning model that integrates academic and social aspects is the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model. This study aims to examine the role of the TGT model in fostering collaboration and learning motivation among elementary school students. The research employed a library research method by analyzing ten relevant scientific articles published between 2021 and 2025. Data sources were obtained from nationally accredited journals indexed in SINTA and Google Scholar and analyzed using descriptive content analysis techniques. The results of the review indicate that the implementation of the TGT model consistently enhances students’ collaborative skills, including teamwork, group responsibility, communication, and mutual respect. In addition, TGT plays a significant role in increasing both intrinsic and extrinsic learning motivation through the integration of game-based activities, healthy competition, and group rewards. Collaboration and learning motivation within TGT-based learning interact and form a positive cycle that supports active student engagement in the learning process. Therefore, the Teams Games Tournament model is considered relevant and effective for elementary school learning as an effort to create active, enjoyable, and meaningful learning that supports the development of students’ academic and social potential.

Abstract

Low Indonesian language learning outcomes among sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 3 Candikuning, as evidenced by mid-semester summative assessment scores, prompted this investigation. This study examined the effectiveness of Brain Based Learning model assisted by digital comics as an innovative learning tool aligned with brain functioning principles to enhance narrative text comprehension and foundational literacy. Employing a quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design, 24 sixth-grade students participated in a single 105-minute instructional session utilizing digital comics and Brain Based Learning modules. Data collection instruments included observation checklists and written assessments (multiple-choice and essay questions) administered before and after the intervention. Descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation) and paired samples t-test were employed for data analysis. Results demonstrated substantial improvement, with mean scores increasing from 66.33 to 85.79. The correlation between pretest and posttest scores was exceptionally strong (r = 0.953, p < .001). The paired samples t-test revealed statistically significant differences (t = -16.562, df = 23, p < .001), confirming that Brain Based Learning model assisted by digital comics significantly enhanced Indonesian language learning outcomes. The reduction in standard deviation from 12.51 to 7.59 indicated more equitable learning conditions. These findings validate the integration of neuroscience-based pedagogy with engaging digital media for elementary literacy instruction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem based learning berbasis Tri Hita Karana terhadap kreativitas dan keterampilan komunikasi siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Banjar Jawa, baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun secara simultan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah the posttest-only control-group desain. Variabel bebas pada penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran Problem based learning berbasis Tri Hita Karana, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah kreativitas dan keterampilan komunikasi siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 106 siswa. Penentuan sampel penelitian pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode obsevasi. Data kreativitas dan kemampuan kolaborasi siswa yang sudah terkumpul ditabulasi rerata dan simpangan bakunya. Analisis statistik yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah MANOVA. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran problem based learning berbasis Tri Hita Karana terhadap kreativitas belajar siswa dengan F hitung sebesar 40,381 dan signifikansi sebesar 0,000. 2) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran problem based learning berbasis Tri Hita Karana terhadap keterampilan komunikasi siswa dengan F hitung sebesar 32,936 dan signifikansi sebesar 0,000. Dan 3) Secara simultan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran problem based learning berbasis Tri Hita Karana terhadap kreativitas dan keterampilan komunikasi siswa dengan F hitung sebesar 35,597 dan signifikansi sebesar 0,000.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has a significant impact on the world of education that can be used as an intermediary to achieve learning objectives and improve the learning process to be more interactive, this study was conducted with the aim of producing an interactive learning media in the form of a Digital Flipbook media based on Augmented Reality (AR) on the material "My Indonesian Cultural Diversity" for Grade V at SDN 2 Alasangker which is valid and practical. This research method uses Research and Development with the ADDIE development model including Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The ADDIE model used is limited to the implementation stage due to time constraints. Data collection techniques used include interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The results of the study show that the Digital Flipbook learning media based on Augmented Reality obtained a "very high" validity value, namely 0.92 for media experts, 0.92 for language experts, and 0.91 for material experts. In the practicality test using a questionnaire with respondents of 2 fifth-grade teachers and 39 fifth-grade students. The results of the practicality obtained a score of 97% for the practicality test of practitioners (teachers) and 94% for the practicality test of students. Based on these data, the research on the development of Augmented Reality-based Digital Flipbook learning media on the material "My Indonesian Cultural Diversity" for fifth-grade students is categorized as very feasible and practical to use.

Abstract

This research was driven by the low understanding of science (IPAS) concepts among fourth-grade elementary school students due to the dominance of conventional learning models. The study aimed to analyze the effect of the Buzz Group learning model based on Catur Pramana on the understanding of science concepts. This research was a quasi-experimental study using a Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The population of this study consisted of fourth-grade students in Cluster II, Busungbiu District. The sample was selected using a random sampling technique, resulting in 28 students in the experimental group and 21 students in the control group. Data on students' understanding of science concepts were collected through an essay test consisting of 20 validated items. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics (Independent Sample T-test). The results showed that the t-count (14.201) was greater than the t-table (2.013) at a significance level of 0.05. Furthermore, the average N-gain score for the experimental group was 0.72 (High category), while the control group was 0.31 (Medium category). It can be concluded that the Buzz Group learning model based on Catur Pramana has a significant effect on the understanding of science concepts among fourth-grade students. This model provides an innovative alternative for teachers to enhance student participation and conceptual mastery through systematic stages of observation and logical reasoning.
