Abstract

Bonsai merupakan tanaman kerdil yang dapat ditanam dalam pot dengan berbagai bentuk dan warna. Membentuk bonsai dan merawatnya hingga berumur ratusan tahun merupakan sebuah seni tersendiri. Tanaman bonsai umumnya dibedakan berdasarkan tinggi badannya dan jumlah tanaman yang ditempatkan secara bersamaan. (rismunandar, 1986). Penelitian ini dilakukan di Jl.William Iskandar ps. 14-15 Oktober 2023 Mr.V Medan Estate, Kecamatan Perkat Sei Tuan, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara. Lokasi ini dipilih khusus berdasarkan pertimbangan akan menjadi tempat penjualan tanaman bonsai. Alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini antara lain kamera handphone untuk dokumentasi, pisau putar untuk mengukur keliling batang bonsai dan tinggi sampel, penggaris untuk mengukur panjang dan lebar daun bonsai, alat tulis untuk mencatat data yang diperoleh, serta kartu warna untuk mengidentifikasi warna daun bonsai. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode angket dan wawancara dengan sasaran para pemulia bonsai, dan dilakukan dengan mengamati kegiatan-kegiatan yang bersifat fenomena alam dan bukan yang diciptakan oleh peneliti. (sugito, 1995). Metode ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang objek yang diteliti melalui data sampel yang ada dilapangan.

Abstract

This research is an identification study of basidiomycetes mushrooms in Patumbak sub-district, West Binjai and Medan Marelan. This research was carried out for 2 weeks, in May 2023. This research was carried out in the Districts of Patumbak, West Binjai and Medan Marelan. The purpose of this research is as information for the people in the area as information and as education. That in Patumbak District, West Binjai District, Medan Marelan District, there are various types of mushrooms of the basidiomycetes class, some of which can be consumed, can be used as medicine, and some cannot be consumed because they contain poison. The types of Basidiomycetes mushrooms found in the Districts of Patumbak, West Binjai and Medan Marelan are very diverse. The results of this study were the types of fungi found, namely Trametes, Pleurotus, Lactarius, Ganoderma, Fomitopsis, Phaeolus, Cronartium. This is influenced by environmental factors such as temperature, humidity and soil pH. The development and growth of fungi is strongly influenced by environmental factors, including humidity, temperature, soil pH and light intensity. Keywords: Identification, Fungi, Basidiomycetes

Abstract

Catfish is the most popular freshwater fish by the community, because of its ease of cultivation and affordable price, so many beginner catfish farmers choose this fish as a mainstay commodity. This research was conducted on a catfish farm in sampali village, kec. Percut sei tuan. on August 15, 2023, the methods used in this research are surveys and interviews. The tools used to conduct the survey were a smartphone used for audio and visual documentation of the results of surveys and interviews taken from the farm where the survey was conducted and a ruler to measure the survey results periodically. Data collection was conducted twice during 2 months. The catfish cultivated in the Sampali CatfishFarm pond is Dumbo catfish. Based on the results of interviews that have been conducted by the author to the owner of the catfish farm, Mr. Agus Suprianto, the author concludes that Mr. Agus Suprianto has experienced obstacles in cultivating Dumbo catfish due to limited tools to measure the pH level of the pond water and can control the water quality of the pond which is used as a cultivation of Dumbo catfish. Pond owners can only estimate changes in water pH from the behavior of fish that often float on the surface of the water. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of differences in water cleanliness on the development of catfish.

Abstract

What are students' misconceptions about understanding the growth and development of living things and why students have difficulty learning the material on the growth and development of living things. This research aims to describe the profile of students' misconceptions on the growth and development of living things and to describe the factors causing students' misconceptions on the growth and development of living things. This data is really needed to determine the level of students' understanding of the concepts in the material. This research is a descriptive research. This research is broadly divided into two stages, namely the preparation stage and the implementation stage. This research is a descriptive research. The object of this research is the Growth and Development of Living Creatures material in the SMA/MA Class Living Creatures in the SMA/MA Class Material like this contained in books can be a misconception for students because the title is unclear so that students misunderstand what the title means. This research shows that there are misconceptions in books used as teaching materials in class XII in Biology lessons, these misconceptions can be found in the title, subtitles and even in the content of the material in this book. This book is quite clear and structured in delivering biology material, especially Growth and Development material, to high school/MA class XII students.
