Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian untuk mengembangkan media video pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Biologi dengan materi sistem pernapasan Kelas XI MAL (Madrasah Aliyah Laboratorium ) .Penelitian ini dilakukan pada hari Sabtu ,20 Mei 2023.Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan media videopembelajaran pada mata pelajaran biologi dengan materi sistem pernapasan dan untuk mengetahui validasi media video pembelajaran pada materi sistem pernapasan menurut ahli media ,ahli materi dan guru biologi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan wawancara .Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar validasi ahli,lembar penilaian guru dan angket untuk siswa. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil validasi ahli media sebesar 89% atau layak digunakan dan hasil validasi ahli pemateri 84,25% atau sangat layak digunakan .dan hasil penilaian oleh guru menunjukkan media pembelajaran ini sangatlayak sebagai media pembelajaran biologi .Siswa juga memberikan respon sangat baik terhadap media video pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Biologi dengan materi pernapasan,dan setelah menerapkan media ini hasil belajar siswa meningkat dan semangat belajarnya juga meningkat dan siswa lebih mudah memahami materiyang telah diajarkan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine strategies related to the outdoor learning environment at Sri Lestari Kindergarten Surabaya. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method and used data collection techniques such as observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research include the strategies used by school principals and teachers in managing outdoor learning at Sri Lestari Kindergarten, namely the integrated learning strategy. Outdoor learning strategies can make children feel happy and really help their growth and development. With outdoor learning, children will benefit from the development of physical, cognitive, language, moral and social emotional aspects. Outdoor learning can also improve children's endurance, balance and body coordination. The various areas in the outdoor play environment which are surrounded by nature are natural so that children can observe the objects around them. Outdoor learning must have a large area so that The children were really interested and enjoyed taking part in these outdoor learning activities. Sri Lestari Kindergarten has activities that can support student activity in their growth and development.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service program is to improve early literacy skills among children in Desa Ajee Pagar Air by implementing a reading corner (pojok baca). The background of this service lies in the low literacy rates among children in rural areas, which can be addressed by providing accessible resources and creating a conducive environment for reading. The service method used in this program is Participatory Action Research (PAR), which involves the active participation of the community in the planning and implementation process. The results show significant improvement in children's interest in reading and a positive shift in their literacy levels. The program contributed to fostering a culture of reading and learning, which will be sustained through continuous community involvement. In conclusion, the establishment of a reading corner in Desa Ajee Pagar Air has been successful in enhancing early literacy and promoting educational development in the community.

Abstract

Background: Character education is essential to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in shaping a principled and environmentally conscious generation. This study aims to describe the implementation of character education in biology lessons at SMA Negeri 20 Medan. Methodology: The method used is qualitative with a case study, involving biology teachers and 10th-grade students selected purposively. Data was collected through participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, then validated through triangulation of sources and methods. Findings: The results of the study indicate that character education is integrated through intraschool activities such as group prayers, laboratory experiments, discussions, and classroom cleanliness, and reinforced through extracurricular activities like Rohis. Teachers applied varied strategies, particularly Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), effectively fostering students' environmental awareness. The impact of implementation was evident in changes in students' attitudes, such as becoming more disciplined, responsible, and environmentally conscious. Contribution: These findings align with previous research on the effectiveness of contextual learning but contribute new insights by emphasizing the integration of intraschool and extracurricular activities as a simultaneous model for character education
