Abstract

Mathematics is an important subject in basic education, including in junior high schools, which plays a role in developing students' logical, critical, systematic, and creative thinking skills. The material on spatial figures related to the concept of three-dimensional space is often a challenge because it requires visualization and in-depth understanding. This study aims to analyze the mathematical creative thinking skills of junior high school students on spatial figures and the factors that influence them. The method used is qualitative with a literature study approach. The results of the study show that students' creative thinking skills are still low, caused by monotonous learning and inadequate methods. Several creative strategies for teaching spatial figures, such as the use of physical models, technology and educational games, are proposed to improve students' mathematical creative thinking skills. These findings are expected to help mathematics teachers develop more effective learning strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the significant relationship between the provision of rewards and punishments by teachers and the learning motivation of Civics Education (PPKn) students in grade V at SDN 189 Pekanbaru. This quantitative study employed a correlational design. The population consisted of 150 students, with 38 randomly selected as the sample. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire to measure the independent variable (rewards and punishments) and the dependent variable (learning motivation). Hypothesis testing was conducted using the Pearson correlation coefficient and the coefficient of determination. The results show a correlation coefficient of 0.517, categorized as moderate, and the significance test yielded a p-value of 0.001 < 0.05, indicating a positive relationship. These findings suggest that the use of rewards and punishments by teachers significantly contributes to enhancing PPKn learning motivation among grade V students at SDN 189 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Temuan permasalahan menunjukkan bahwa adanya perubahan kurikulum 2013 menjadi kurikulum merdeka menuntut guru untuk memahami ulang komponen perangkat pembelajaran yang telah diperbaharui. Salah satu perangkat pembelajaran yang mengalami pembaharuan yaitu rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang berganti menjadi modul ajar kurikulum merdeka. Tujuan kegiatan adalah untuk mendampingi guru-guru untuk mampu membuat modul ajar kurikulum merdeka. Kegiatan dilakukan dalam empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa guru memahami komponen penyusunan modul ajar serta mampu membuat modul ajar kurikulum merdeka sesuai dengan bidang studi dan kelas yang diajar.
