Abstract

In the era of globalization in marketing communications, there are many strategies that can be used, one of which is product branding, namely the strategy or process of building a unique identity and value for MSME products. So it can be differentiated from other competitors and attract consumer interest. This research article aims to analyze product branding in increasing the marketing effectiveness of MSMEs in Kwala Langkat Village. The results of this research show that the application of logos, slogans and product packaging has a big impact on sales of mangrove drink products and onion chips in Kwala Langkat Village; awareness of the residents of Kwala Langkat Village to play a full role in improving branding on products sold to become products that are ready to compete and attract consumers; Product branding is the right strategy and increases the effectiveness and competitiveness of MSMEs in Kwala Langkat Village.

Abstract

This research aims to find out empirically about models/methods to significantly improve the quality of analytical lectures. This research uses literature study research by examining 10 journals that are relevant to the author's research. The results of this research show that real analysis courses require students' critical thinking skills, to be able to make proof of the problems raised. For this reason, mathematics students must have the ability to carry out mathematical proofs. In mathematical proof, there are two abilities, namely the ability to read proof and construct proof.

Abstract

Masjid Agung Deli Serdang adalah Masjid yang dibangun dengan desain yang megah dan modern, serta menjadi pusat kegiatan keagamaan, seperti salat berjamaah, pengajian, dan berbagai acara keagamaan lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi etnomatematika yang terdapat pada mesjid agung deli serdang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksploratif yang bertujuan untuk menggali secara luas tentang sebab-sebab atau hal-hal yang mempengaruhi terjadinya sesuatu. Tekinik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan cara observasi langsung dan dokumentasi terhadap mesjid agung deli serdang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengetahuan matematika seperti yaitu konsep geometri bangun datar, konsep geometri bangun ruang, konsep transformasi geometri, konsep gradien fungsi, kesebangunan dan pola bilangan. ABSTRACT The Grand Mosque of Deli Serdang is a mosque that was built with a magnificent and modern design, and is the center of religious activities, such as congregational prayers, recitations, and various other religious events. This research aims to explore the ethnomathematics contained in the Grand Mosque of Deli Serdang. This research uses an exploratory research method which aims to explore broadly the causes or things that influence the occurrence of something. Data collection techniques are carried out by direct observation and documentation of the Grand Mosque of Deli Serdang. The results of this research show that there is mathematical knowledge such as the geometric concept of flat figures, the geometric concept of spatial figures, the concept of geometric transformations, the concept of function gradients, congruence and number patterns.

Abstract

Pengambilan keputusan merupakan aspek fundamental dalam setiap aktivitas bisnis yang mempengaruhi kinerja dan kelangsungan perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan teori pengambilan keputusan dalam lingkungan bisnis melalui studi literature review. Tahap studi literature review ini adalh pengumpulan data, penyajian materi, penentuan dan pengelolaan hasil dan terakhir penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 25 artikel “Studi Literature Review: Penerapan Teori Pengambilan Keputusan Dalam Lingkungan Bisnis” yang diterbitkan dari tahun 2021 sampai 2024, hanya 13 artikel yang memenuhi variabel, hanya 7 artikel diinklusi untuk dianalisis dan hanya 6 artikel diekslusi. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan teori pengambilan keputusan yang tepat dapat meningkatkan kualitas keputusan dalam konteks bisnis, membantu manajer untuk mengelola ketidakpastian, serta mengoptimalkan sumber daya yang ada. Penelitian ini juga menggaris bawahi pentingnya pengembangan pendekatan yang lebih holistik dan adaptif dalam menghadapi dinamika pasar yang cepat berubah. ABSTRACT Decision making is a fundamental aspect in every business activity that affects the performance and continuity of the company. This research aims to analyze the application of decision making theory in the business environment through a literature review study. This literature review study stage is collecting data, presenting material, determining and managing results and finally drawing conclusions. The research results show that of the 25 articles "Literature Review Study: Application of Decision Making Theory in the Business Environment" published from 2021 to 2024, only 13 articles met the variables, only 7 articles were included for analysis and only 6 articles were excluded. Thus it can be concluded that the application of appropriate decision making theory can improve the quality of decisions in a business context, help managers to manage uncertainty, and optimize existing resources. This research also underlines the importance of developing a more holistic and adaptive approach in dealing with rapidly changing market dynamics.

Abstract

Mathematics is often regarded as an abstract and formal discipline, which can create a disconnect between students’ understanding and real-worldapplications. Ethnomathematics offers a culturally responsive approach by uncovering mathematical practices embedded in local traditions, thereby making mathematics learning more contextual and meaningful. This study aims to explore the ethnomathematical elements found in traditional Javanese foods getuk and kue lapis and analyze their potential as culturally grounded resources for mathematics instruction. Employing a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods, the research was conducted in a Javanese community in North Sumatra, involving traditional food makers as key informants. Data were collected through direct observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The analysis revealed the presence of mathematical concepts such as geometric shapes, proportional reasoning, repeated patterns, and symmetry in food preparation and presentation. These findings suggest that traditional food-making processes can serve as contextual media for teaching geometry and proportional concepts at the primary and secondary school levels. Integrating such ethnomathematical elements into instructional materials not only enhances conceptual understanding but also fosters cultural awareness and appreciation. Therefore, this study highlights the relevance of local cultural practices as an innovative foundation for the development ofculturally contextualized mathematics education.
