Abstract

Technology has led to a new world order without renewable technology, the world of education would not be as efficient as it is today. Not only in the world of education, technology also affects the economy, social, culture and geopolitics. Besides the technology itself, it is our obligation to be educated because if we only use technology without insight, it is feared that we are governed by technology, not us. One of the advances in the world of education is artificial intelligence which greatly helps the educational process but must also be inserted with critical thinking not to be dissolved and drifted in the ease of this very sophisticated technology.

Abstract

At first, the Khawarij emerged on the scene of kalam thought from a political point of view, as they disagreed with Ali bin Abi Talib and Mu'awiyah bin Abi Sufyan's approach to resolving Muslim disputes by arbitration (tahkim). However, later kalam thought developed in a theological direction. The Khawarij argued that resolving Muslim conflicts through tahkim violated God's law and was a great sin, so the blood of those who did tahkim was halal. Their attitudes and behavior were influenced by Khawarij teachings, including the issue of the position of caliph, mu'amalah among non-Khawarij Muslims, and zuhud and worship. In addition to beliefs such as understanding the nature of faith and tawhid, Allah's promises and threats, the Qur'an is a creature, and takwil and qiyas are also the basis of their actions. Historically, Khawarij split into various sects such as Azariqah, Shufriyah and Ibadhiyah. This paper will discuss the historical issues of the emergence of Khawarij, teachings and sects in Khawarij.

Abstract

Pemikiran etika Ibnu Miskawaih menawarkan konsep kesempurnaan akhlak yang didasarkan pada keseimbangan antara akal, emosi, dan nafsu. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemikiran Ibnu Miskawaih tentang etika dan relevansinya dalam konteks modern. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis teks utama seperti Tahdzib al-Akhlaq dan referensi sekunder dari para sarjana kontemporer, artikel ini menemukan bahwa keseimbangan jiwa, pendidikan moral, dan pengendalian diri merupakan elemen kunci dalam mencapai kesempurnaan akhlak. Pemikiran Ibnu Miskawaih tidak hanya relevan pada masanya, tetapi juga memberikan solusi untuk mengatasi krisis moral di era modern. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa pemikiran etika Ibnu Miskawaih layak dijadikan sebagai referensi dalam upaya membangun masyarakat yang beradab dan bermoral.
