Abstract

Work measurement is a procedure for determining the balance between human activities contributed and the output units produced. Measurement of work time produces standard time to complete a job at average working speed and working conditions. This study aims to calculate the working time in the production process of Neelam perfume directly with the time study method to obtain perfume production capacity per-work cycle and per-month. The calculation of standard time begins with mapping the work process in the form of an operation process map, then taking preliminary measurements, testing the uniformity and adequacy of data, determining adjustment factors and allowances, calculating cycle time, normal time and standard time. The standard time obtained is then analyzed so that information is received that 1 cycle of Neelam perfume production work takes 157.925 minutes or the equivalent of 2.62 hours with the production of 111 bottles of perfume. Compared to the number of perfume requests in 1 month, the standard time for Neelam perfume production has met demand.

Abstract

Stress is a psychological response that occurs when someone faces pressure or demands that exceed their ability to adapt. In the context of a final-year student, stress is often a significant problem due to academic pressure, such as completing final assignments, as well as demands to immediately prepare to enter the workforce and demands to immediately prepare to enter the workforce. Research shows that stress that is not managed properly can cause various negative effects, such as sleep disorders and decreased cognitive function. This study aimed to identify and analyze stress levels among final-year students who completed a final report by integrating physiological and psychological data. In this study, 30 students were assessed using a wearable system to obtain physiological data, such as heart rate and body temperature, while subjective assessments were carried out using the NASA-TLX method to measure mental workload. The results showed that 19 out of 30 respondents experienced significant levels of stress and 11 respondents were in normal conditions, with the main causal factors including high academic pressure and distance regarding the future. In addition, the logistic regression analysis applied in this study succeeded in developing a predictive model with an accuracy of 94% in identifying students' stress conditions. This shows that this method is sufficiently accurate for detecting stress symptoms in final-year students.

Abstract

In recent years, inventory has been critical due to the production cost and overstock risk related to the expiration date and the fluctuation price risk. This study's minimization of overstock and price fluctuation in the warehouse used a hybridized artificial neural network (ANN) and analytical hierarchy process (AHP) to produce an optimum model. The variables, such as average demand, reorder point, order quantity, factor service level, safety stock, and average inventory level, were used to obtain the optimal condition of the average inventory levels to maximize the profit. Then, the type of inventory system that guarantees the minimum risks in managing the inventory would be selected. The result shows that the data has a mean of 39.2 units, and the standard deviation (SD) was 12.9. This means that the order quantity is 20.2 units, the average inventory level is 57.3, and the average demand is 39. These conditions used the factor z, which is 97% service level. This study concludes that the optimum average inventory level is 91 units, the order quantity is 11 units with the maximum average profit is $1098, and the peak fluctuation condition maximum profit is $1463 when the average inventory level is 7.3, and the inventory policy system used to minimize the risk is the continuous review policy type. The study could be beneficial to reduce production costs and enhance overall profitability and operational efficiency in the sector by mitigating the risks associated with excessive inventory and price volatility while also minimizing the potential for expired inventory.

Abstract

The regency of Aceh Besar often experiences environmental issues. Environmental awareness has become a serious matter that needs to be cultivated through character education from an early age through the learning process. Based on this, this community service initiative collaborates with 5 Kindergartens (TK) in Aceh Besar using a observational study. In this regard, the partner's problem lies in the lack of representative learning media to develop environmental awareness in children. This community service aims to educate children about the value of environmental awareness, which will affect their present and future social lives. Therefore, this community service project designs, produces, and distributes educational products through Educational Play Tools (EPT), such as flashcards and coloring books, as media for environmental awareness education.

Abstract

Kueh Village, located in Aceh Besar District, is one of the centers of rattan handicrafts. However, the rattan production process in this village generates unmanaged solid and liquid waste, resulting in environmental pollution. This community service program aims to improve artisans' awareness and skills in waste management through the application of the Eco-Design concept. The implementation methods included socialization, training on waste processing, and the provision of supporting production equipment. The results showed that artisans successfully processed solid waste into new value-added products such as souvenirs, while liquid waste was minimized through safe storage and environmentally friendly dye alternatives. This program demonstrated a positive impact on artisan knowledge, environmental sustainability, and local economic enhancement.
